"An Absolute Necessity For Ad Creative Strategy"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

Motion empowers our creative team to know what is and isn't working and why without having to rely on other teams. They also provide a ton of continuing education and support and are my main source of information to staying up to date with creative strategy and AI trends. They stay ahead of the curve by becoming among the first to adopt new AI features like AI-assisted report analysis, creative strategy AI agents, and AI creative tagging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Not much cons to speak of. One area lacking is the inability to analyze performance of Tikok GMV Max campaigns. You also must make sure you have a super solid ad naming convention or it can't pull reports accurately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revolutionized Our Creative Analytics with Impressive Efficiency"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I find Motion incredibly valuable for creative analytics, especially in our internal paid social advertising. It solves efficiency problems for us, allowing us to move faster on creative changes, as we receive data in minutes rather than days. The ability to easily share ad performance with visuals is unmatched by any other platform. I love how they iterate on new products quickly and consider my product questions, often adding features with notes from our team in real-time. The AI is a powerful tool on the platform that really cuts time out of my day. The initial setup was super easy, thanks to the great customer support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

There are still some qualities to other, bigger, data platforms that are better in reporting, and creating custom reports. I'd still love to see that. More customization of metrics, and goals that we want to track towards would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplified Dashboard, Inspiring Tool for Social Creative"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I love that the reporting in the dashboard UI is so much simpler and cleaner and easy to digest compared to what we see in the Meta reports. It's a lot easier and more efficient to analyze, get actionable data, and take next steps based on that. It's a much cleaner, faster experience than trying to get that data out of Meta. I also like that Motion feels like I'm working with a human app rather than just some tool that's not being innovated upon. Plus, it's easy to set up on our own without any assistance from technical teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Some of the UI and dashboards require scrolling to get the full view. There are little things with the UI that happen here and there. It's not a major deterrent, but there are some things in the UI that could be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Insights for Ad Creatives, Instantly Elevating Our Strategy"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

It provides valuable insights about ad creatives that you would not find elsewhere. It makes it easy to find patterns in your creatives and lets you know what is working well for your brand, and what isn't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

I haven't run into any downsides of using Motion so far, but maybe one thing is it takes a bit of time to really understand how to use all of the features. There's a lot of different features, so to make sure you're taking advantage of it all you should take some time to get familiar with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Reporting Tool with Room for Mobile Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I really like Motion for creating my own reports based on nomenclature, and it's easy to pull up metrics like ad quality, testing goals, and ad types. The visual aspect is a huge plus, with visuals and charts that make data easily digestible compared to Meta. It's also helpful for deep diving into creatives, and I enjoy the faster load times than Meta. I find it easy to see how long an ad has been running and appreciate how easy it is to share reporting and ads. The image of the ad with data points below makes sharing ad reporting straightforward during weekly meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

The mobile experience is really hard to use, especially the date selector. I have to scroll down to hit apply, which doesn't work on mobile, and is also a pain on desktop. I have to click twice on continue then apply when searching by filter with a word like ad name. Please either create an app or improve the mobile experience, possibly moving the Apply button to the top or just allowing to apply with an 'enter' press. A search feature that lets me query against the average of specific metrics within a selected period would streamline manual processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Ad Analysis with Ease and Speed"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I use Motion for analyzing Meta ads in a much easier way, which avoids having to make top charts manually. Motion really makes the process easier by sorting through big ad account data quickly to get the top 10-20 ads within a specific period of time. I love the better interfaces and the customized spreadsheet with a red-green color scheme it offers, as well as the lag-free experience compared to Meta Ads manager. The ease, speed, and stability of Motion are fantastic, especially since Meta ads usually have laggy interfaces and slow data speed. Motion handles everything seamlessly. Setting up Motion was easy for me, and the interface has a learning curve that's right on point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Probably an accuracy of showing HOOK and HOLD rate, because sometimes the data is different from Meta. Usually Motion shows a higher hook and hold rates for some ads. It happens like 15-20% of the time while using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Reporting Made Easy, Needs Faster Load"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I like that Motion's interface is pretty user-friendly and easy to learn. I also appreciate the various reporting options and KPIs that I can pull, and just that it's visually appealing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Yeah. We just had general issues with load time on a lot of reports. And some issues with certain accounts not syncing up properly from Meta to Motion. So that's gotten better with the help of our motion reps, but still have some problems like that once in a while. It was easy to learn the platform, but we did have those problems I was referring to earlier with pages not loading in certain accounts having a lot of bugs. So it was kind of a rocky start, but we've made a lot of progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Invaluable for Creative Performance Analysis"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I love the hook report in Motion, as it helps us understand how to best build top-performing ad creatives by providing hook data and thumb stop ratio. This feature allows us to see what has worked before, predict what will work, and ensures we're making informed decisions based on historical data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Some of the AI report tasks take a really long time to run, and it's not as useful as it could be because it can only run one at a time and it's slow. Also, during the initial setup, I encountered a challenge with connecting the ad accounts. It would send an email saying it was connected, but then give in-platform notes saying the page needs to be connected, indicating a different level of access was needed than anticipated. "Excellent for Ad Insights and Creative Reports"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I like seeing a brand's whole ad library and creating comparative reports or reports with the ad names. It's helpful to see how many ads a brand has live at any time. Motion lets me save ads even if they are turned off, and I can see who they are targeting, when they have sales, and how they market the sale, which gives me design inspiration. For comparative reports, I like to see how one ad did better than another iteration or which landing page performed better. It's also valuable for comparing product categories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

I wish when looking at reports we could filter it to be only active ads. If there was a sale and it is over I do not want those showing up when looking at the last 14 days. Just adding an 'active' or 'not active' filter would help, also seeing if the creative is active or not just when looking at the report. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revolutionary Creative Tool That Saves Time and Inspires Daily Use"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

Motion is the creative tool I wish was around 10 years ago, but it is here and it saves SO MUCH TIME! The tool is suave and modern and has a great intuitive UI. Paired with a great team to work with, it is a tool that you actually want to log into and use on a daily basis. Customized reports & prebuilt templates make it easy to plug in any account and get reports in a few minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

That I didn't have it so many years ago. If you were able to optimize out of the platform or generate insights faster that would be a feather in the cap, but if you saw how most creative reporting is done (screenshots in decks, no videos playing, long ad names with tables of data without knowing what ad it is), the service on its own is such a massive step up against the status quo that it is worth every penny and then some.
