## Motion Reviews
  ### 1. Transforms Creative Analysis with Actionable Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke F. | Digital Media Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

Motion is most valuable for quickly surfacing creative insights that would otherwise take a lot of manual analysis to uncover. The ability to break down performance by creative elements like hooks, formats, and visual patterns make it so much easier to understand why certain ads are working. It is especially helpful for speeding up creative analysis, aligning teams around clear creative learnings, and turning performance data into actionable guidance for future creatives strategy. I use it every week for performance decks.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

Motion can sometimes feel limited how customizable or nuanced the insights are, especially for more complex use cases. Some insights can skew high level or directionally, requiring additional analysis and platform data to fully validate decisions. It is also frustrating that you can only use one account per platform, as on Meta, I would like to be able to use two accounts at once. There can also be a learning curve in knowing which insights are truly actionable vs informational, and the tool is only really effective when paired with strong internal context

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Motion is solving the problem of having to manually analyze creative performance each week to pull insights for reporting. Instead of spending hours digging through platforms and trying to spot patterns across creatives, Motion surfaces clear trends around what is working and why. This has made building weekly performance decks faster, more consistent, and more insight driven, allowing us to spend less time on manual analysis and more time acting on creative learnings.

  ### 2. The AI tool that tells me what to make next

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noemí . | Senior Performance Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

What I really appreciate is how easy it is to visualise all the creatives running across different platforms. The ability to organise them by funnel, campaign, or promotion is very helpful. Setting up folders is also straightforward, allowing you to structure your ads according to your preferences. For example, I have a folder for each market, with subfolders for funnel stages and ad formats. This setup makes it very simple for me to track which ads are running during a specific period and to monitor their performance. I also really enjoy the "Inspo" section, helps me understand different trends, what our competitors are doing or not doing, how they are positioning in the market when it comes to creative messaging and in general, the inspo feature is a way of thinking out of the box and get new and fresh ideas.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

There are still some metrics missing from the platform, particularly for top-of-funnel activities. Since demand creation is a crucial part of our initiatives, I would like to see engagement counts and rates available for different creative assets. On the AI side, we have not yet been able to fully leverage the AI agents. Currently, we only have access to the free agents, and they are not fully integrated with our platforms or reports.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, we had to visit each platform individually to get an overview of what was running on them. With Motion, we can now easily visualize all the creatives in one place, not just from a design standpoint but also in terms of performance. Motion also makes it much simpler to share performance insights with stakeholders.

  ### 3. Streamlined Creative Review with Handy Brand Intel, with Some Room for Growth

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carter F. | Demand Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

One of my favorite things about Motion is how easy it is to review ads from multiple platforms together in one place. It really streamlines comparisons and allows us to easily talk with our creative team about what's working and what's not. I also really value the Brand intel feature, which lets you save and collect creative assets from different brands.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

I really wish you could create custom scores based on different metrics. Sometimes we're judging ad performance based on engagement, other times it's CPM. But if we could create a weighted score using multiple metrics so that we could define one source of truth for performance, that would be fantastic.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We originally got Motion to enhance our creative flywheel. We wanted our discussions with our creative team to be streamlined and allow everyone to be on the same page creatively - based on actual performance. Motion has really helped as I've been a part of these discussions. Our creative team can easily see what levels of performance are attached to which pieces of creative and that's made a big difference in helping us all feel confident in our creative social strategy.

  ### 4. Effortless Reporting and Insights with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Motion?**

The ease of use, it is super easy to use and gain actionable insights - creating reports is very easy and useful.
I also love the custom metrics that motion provide, a great insight and measurement that we do not normally have access too.
My favourite thing is within the reports, the view that includes the thumbnails of the ads with key metrics underneath - this is great for reporting and sharing with wider teams - very easy to digest.

Our Rep is also superb; Josh. Extremely helpful and the best ive worked with.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

The main two things are:

It's dependency on naming conventions, any mistake or inconsistency in our ad names makes for inaccurate reporting or grouping in Motion; it makes having to go back and change names to ensure accurate reporting and reliability which is inconvenient.

Secondly, the inability to create custom metrics. For example we use a blended revenue model - where we combine Meta and Northbeam attribution - I would love to create a metric in motion which would show this - however, I cant. Which makes the work very manual.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With limited capacity, it covers the role of a creative analyst.
It helps us report and analyse previous performance and present those to the wider teams.
Then taking best practices forward into future projects

  ### 5. Intuitive Platform with Great Insights, but Pricey

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I like how Motion is extremely intuitive and visual, which makes it easy to understand and gather insights even when I'm deep into the details. This helps us identify the best-performing creatives and understand why they're successful. The ability to pick out themes and iterate to improve and make new creative is valuable for our business. Having high-performing ad creatives is crucial, and Motion helps us identify these top performers, allowing us to make better creative decisions. Additionally, I appreciate that the initial setup of Motion was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

There's honestly not too much, I think, pricing potentially may be a little bit high. Especially in this day and age where AI is increasingly taking over and there are more tools entering the competitive space.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Motion lets us easily grasp which creatives perform best, identifying themes to iterate and improve new creative. This helps us refine ads and gather insights, crucial for high-performing ad creatives and impacting our business.

  ### 6. Effortless to Use and Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

Easy to use
Easy to share creatives and reports
Connecting with Meta was really easy
I use Motion biweekly to look at performance
Gives a lot of insightful reports with metrics that platforms can't provide
Using AI to give insights on what works from creative and how to improve
My rep Josh has been very helpful and explains things on screenshare with immense detail. He sends me loop recordings on how to do things too. Always updates me on new implementations.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

Slow loading speeds
Filter by selecting creatives for reports like on Meta
Connect to all social platforms (Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, etc)
Competitors pull in all countries instead of just UK when searching for Brand intel
On Brand intel it would be beneficial for range of time instead of more than a month, etc.
Improve tagging (mass tagging instead of individual)

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving in depth creative insights to guide our brand team on briefs
Help steer on what creatives should be live
Giving a quick view on performance when its busy

  ### 7. Effortless Data Integration, Needs More Channels

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth L.

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I like both the comparative and top performing custom reports. All the data and metrics are already loaded in, so I can spend more time analyzing. I'm able to pull various views and specific client requests easily and share them with the client, which means less manual work for me. The initial setup of Motion was easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

I need Snapchat, Reddit, and Pinterest integrations with Motion. I also want the ability to load in a specific naming convention and have those added as dimensions for breaking out performance. It doesn't really help for platforms other than Meta and TikTok, and I would like to analyze the same creative cross-channel in one dashboard.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Motion for creative analysis and insights, reducing manual data work by easily toggling data views and accessing loaded metrics. It offers custom reports that save me time on analysis and simplifies sharing tailored client views, minimizing effort.

  ### 8. Insightful Analysis with Stellar CSM Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I think our CSM has been super helpful in helping us extract the most out of Motion. She's provided us with insights, market insights, and algorithm insights, especially regarding how Meta treats new creatives, which has been incredibly helpful. The customer service, particularly from our CSM, and the insights she's providing us to help navigate the platform and get the most out of it, has been actually incredibly helpful.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

I think the dashboard, especially when I'm looking at competitors, doesn't feel like the information is always accurate. It doesn't always seem to relate correctly to things like how long the ads have run for or how many ads are actually active. There's no insight into whether the ad I'm looking at was successful or not. The information it provides me is kind of limited, and sometimes I feel like it might be slightly untrustworthy. I'd like to know with more certainty if I'm actually looking at the full picture or if there's things missing.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Motion gives me valuable insights on what's working in my creatives, with a dashboard for quick reviews and decent AI analysis of certain metrics. It helps me make informed creative decisions.

  ### 9. Saves Time with Intuitive Ad Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carl R.

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I find that Motion saves me a lot of time, especially with competitor research. The ability to use boards to save different types of ads from different periods allows me to revisit and analyze them, which is valuable both commercially and communicatively within my team. I also appreciate how creating reports on our own ad performance is designed to let me quickly overview performance without the need for extensive manual adjustments, helping me share insights and allowing the team to make better decisions. Additionally, I find Motion to be user intuitive and easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

Loading time from Facebook's API. Any adjustments to my reports usually means a 2 minute wait, which severely slows me down.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Motion a real time saver, offering user-friendly insights sharing and competitor research. It lets me save different ads using boards, aiding commercial and internal communication. Creating reports is seamless, enhancing our decision-making without tedious manual work.

  ### 10. Visual Data Analysis Made Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelique K. | Operations Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I like how easy Motion is to use and how good the UI is. It allows me to view data quickly and with ease in a very visual way, which is great for teams that lead on creative. It's easy to set up; you just connect your ad accounts and you can build reports in minutes. I also appreciate that there are often new features being introduced and developed, showing that the tool evolves as the market and tech evolve. The ability to have a creative view of data resonates well with creative teams to show what's working and what's not.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

It would be good if the reporting could be done more holistically - right now it's very by client without the ability to group all the data or all clients together for a larger snapshot of an agency - that is something that I think would be quite useful

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Motion to analyze ad performance, identify winning elements, and scale creative across platforms, thanks to its AI insights.

  ### 11. Save Time and Ease of Use with Motion

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pierre H.

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I love the ease of use of Motion, with the easy connection of advertising accounts and the pre-templated dashboards that save time. The interface is intuitive and attractive, which allows for clarity of information, especially for easily integrating the relevant KPIs for our activity. It also helps us perform creative analyses for our clients more quickly than with other tools like Looker Studio. The integrated AI tools are also a plus, even though we haven't yet explored their full potential. Finally, the initial setup of Motion was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

I can't find all the competitors and have to continue using the FB Ads Library at certain times. The competitors section has become more difficult to access than it was several months ago. I would like a section that is more easily accessible via the dropdown menu on the left, and also a better connection to find all active ad accounts.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Motion allows for a considerable time saving compared to other tools like Looker Studio, and offers clarity of information for easily shareable reports. Its intuitive interface with pre-configured dashboards and integrated AI tools makes creative analysis smooth and efficient.

  ### 12. Streamlined Analytics with Promising Potential

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I use Motion for easily aggregated data, data visualization, and fast and easy AI insights. Motion removes the majority of my workload, cutting down manual task time by approximately 3-5 hours a week. It also helps jumpstart the creative ideation process, saving an additional 1-2 hours a week. I find it user-friendly and they take feedback seriously, incorporating it into their product roadmaps when applicable. The features are released with confidence, ensuring a more polished user experience. The initial setup was fairly seamless, taking less than a day to connect to the ad account.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

The accuracy of their AI grouping (tags) could be improved. We've noticed some inaccuracies during their initial rollouts.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Motion cuts down my manual task time by 3-5 hours weekly, removing the workload of exporting data and creating insights. It also jumpstarts the creative process, saving me 1-2 hours in meetings with its built-in AI tasks.

  ### 13. Visual and Efficient Creative Analysis with Motion

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimara S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I like how Motion allows me to review creatives all in one place, which makes it easy to do analysis and provides ease of visibility for our clients to see what's live. The competitor AI agent is particularly valuable, as it lets me see what competitors are testing and helps me decide what to avoid, steal, or watch out for. The platform is very visual and easy to use, which I appreciate. The support from the Motion team during the initial setup was really useful, making the process quite easy.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

I find the pricing compared to other competitor tools a little expensive, especially as you scale. I would prefer smaller jumps between spend tiers.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Motion to review creatives in one place, analyze them, and provide clients with visibility on what's live. The competitor AI agent helps see competitor strategies, and the platform is easy to use.

  ### 14. Speeds Up Reporting, Needs More Platform Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria J.

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I like that Motion generates a visually appealing report much faster than pulling excel data manually, which leaves us more time for strategy. I appreciate that we can easily pull the metrics we want, filter for specific types of creatives, and stay up to date with competitor research. It helps our creative teams understand what is working and what isn't, leading to the best business outcomes and helping us plan for future campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

I would love to see additional platforms like Pinterest, Reddit, and Snapchat be added. It also seems like competitor research in the brand intel is limited to Meta right now, and it could expand to other platforms.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Motion generates visually appealing reports faster than manual Excel data pulling, giving us more time for strategy. It helps pull metrics, filter creatives, and stay current with competitor research, aiding creative teams in planning effective campaigns.

  ### 15. Revolutionary AI Tools with Room for Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan L.

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I really appreciate Motion's AI tools; they're probably the biggest game changer for me. The ability to generate reports in the background and identify key action points is a major time-saver. I also like the tagging and explore tools because they're quite useful. The user interface is very clean, which makes it easy to understand the metrics. Additionally, setting up Motion was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

I think there are certain times where the AI would make suggestions that go against the brand's intention, even if that certain aspect the AI is critiquing has been tested to work through in-house testing. Not yet, it's not compatible with anything else.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Motion to analyze ads, identify outliers and winners, and generate reports. The AI tools save time by generating reports and identifying key points, improving organization. The UI is clean, making metrics easy to understand.

  ### 16. Effortless Report Setup with Room for Stability Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I like Motion for its ease of use and the depth of features it offers. It's incredibly easy to set up reports, which saves me time. I also appreciate being able to tag posts and report back on those tags, allowing me to see which types of messaging resonate most with our audience. Additionally, some of the custom metrics, like thumbstop, are really interesting and valuable for my weekly social reporting.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

I think the stability of the program could be improved. There were a number of occasions where posts didn't load into the platform and I had to reach out to support.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Motion cuts down on raw data collection and easily aggregates results, saving me time. I appreciate its ease of use and ability to tag posts, which helps identify effective messaging trends.

  ### 17. Automates Insights for Creative Performance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elena .

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I like that Motion automatically tags elements in our ads and helps us visualize patterns we wouldn't spot on our own. We quickly get a clear picture of what is working and why. The initial setup of Motion was very easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

The flexibility around how elements are tagged/grouped. Sometimes the automatic tagging does not fully match how we would describe the creative concepts internally, so having more control or easier ways to adjust would be super helpful. It would help a lot if we could manually adjust or overwrite the automatic tags in the interface, or create our own custom tagging rules.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Motion helps us analyze creative asset performance across platforms and campaigns, solving data fragmentation issues and revealing insights. It automatically tags ad elements, showing us effective patterns quickly.

  ### 18. Efficient Ad Tracking Despite Performance Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tori I. | video editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I like that Motion makes it easy to sort through by ad name, time frames, KPIs, and overall performance data in one place. It's great that I can look at competitors' ads and very easily grab data from my ads for reporting and personal tracking. Being able to create different reports makes it easy to group ads in different ways.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

It can be very slow at times and I find it stops working fairly often.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Motion to track performance metrics for brands and my ads. It's easy to sort data by ad name, time frames, and KPIs all in one place. I like viewing competitors' ads and easily gathering data for reporting and personal tracking.

  ### 19. Elevates Creative Projects with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avary H.

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I love the ability to make boards in Motion—it reminds me of Pinterest. I can find creative ads I like and save them to return to later, which is super helpful. Having everything organized in one place and easily sharable with my team is amazing. Motion also helps me with creative block by providing a lot of inspiration and elevating the content I make.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

I wish the ad library was bigger. I could scroll on there for hours looking at content that works!

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Motion helps with creative block by providing inspiration and elevating my content. It organizes creative ads in one place like Pinterest, making it easy to share with my team.

  ### 20. Intuitive UX/UI and Custom Reports Make Data Analysis a Breeze

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I love the UX/UI - it's very intuitive and easy to use. It makes analyzing creative data quick and simple. Additionally, I also love the ability to build custom reports. The customer support and onboarding experience is also exceptional.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

Having to add so many naming conventions in the ads to track data effectively. However, I know Motion is working on a solution for this.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Motion allows me to share creative data with the rest of the team in a way that is visual and simple, and doesn't confuse them. If I were to show the team results in facebook ads or in a spreadsheet, it wouldn't be as quick or easy.

  ### 21. Visual Ad Analysis Made Easy with Motion

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly D.

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

I like the snapshots that help me understand throughlines on creative performance over time in a highly visual way. It helps me report on creative to my team in a more visual way that people can understand. The initial setup of Motion was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

I would really benefit from filters that allow me to breakdown performance by audience segments (e.g., what ads are performing best for women 25-45 etc). I would benefit from integration with more platforms though (e.g. Pinterest).

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Motion to streamline creative performance data analysis without ad setup influence, making it easier to report findings visually to my team.

  ### 22. Customizable Reporting with Ease of Use

Motion also gives me the ability to create custom reports and easily review and compare creative performance against core KPIs. Additionally, Motion offers AI-tools to analyze data and prompt new ideas.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

It would be great if Motion could automate notifications when performance is dipping or seeing strong improvement, so I can quickly investigate.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Motion to create custom reports, easily review and compare ad performance, analyze data, and prompt new ideas with AI tools.

The functionality around LinkedIn isn't as strong as it is with Meta.

As a B2B marketer it's not as powerful as it could b

Reporting, Motion makes it much easier to create reports and share them to the wider team.

Also it is very easy to just dip in and see what is performing well at any given time, it saves a lot of time and is just so much easier to use than the ad platforms.

Really clearly designed interface that I can share internally with my team and externally with my clients who are not as privvy to Meta interfaces or complex ad platform data.

At the moment, it is serving it's purpose for the requirement of the tool.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting and analyses at an ad craetive level, making it easy to discect winning creative quicker. While also being able to articulate that to my clients in a cleaner more proffessional manner than sharing screenshots of complex ad platforms.

  ### 26. Intuitive Platform That Simplifies Creative Analysis

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Motion?**

It's a very interactive platform that is easy to use and allows me to analyse creative performance with ease. It's great to be able to set up reports for regular use and saves time compared to using Meta's clunky experience.

**What do you dislike about Motion?**

Some of the filtering is limiting, compared to the options that are available in Meta. However, I think this is starting to get better.

**What problems is Motion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creative analysis is a massive painstakingly slow task in digital marketing and this really helps automate that and make it very easy to compare across dates and campaigns. We're really using Motion as the main way to look into creative performance and identify wins and losses, and how to improve creatives.
