What I like best about Motadata ObserveOps is its ability to provide a centralized monitoring platform that meets the needs of many Malaysian enterprises. It supports monitoring for hybrid IT environments, including on-premises infrastructure, virtual machines, cloud resources, and network devices from different vendors. The customizable dashboards and proactive alerting help IT teams reduce incident response time and improve service availability. The solution is competitively priced compared to some global enterprise monitoring platforms, making it a practical option for organizations in Malaysia that require enterprise-grade monitoring. What do you dislike about Motadata ObserveOps? Overall, Motadata ObserveOps is a stable and effective monitoring platform with very few significant disadvantages in my experience. It covers most of the key IT infrastructure monitoring needs well, including servers, network devices, and applications, with good visibility and alerting capabilities. One area that could be further enhanced is expanding support for Mobile Device Management (MDM) monitoring, so that organizations can have even more unified visibility across both infrastructure and endpoint/mobile devices within a single platform. Motadata ObserveOps helps solve the challenge of managing and monitoring a complex IT infrastructure from multiple disconnected tools. Before using it, monitoring servers, network devices, and applications often required separate systems, which made it harder to get a unified view of the environment. With ObserveOps, we are able to centralize monitoring into a single platform, which improves visibility across the entire infrastructure. This helps in faster detection of issues through real-time alerts and reduces downtime by enabling quicker root cause identification. The biggest benefit is improved operational efficiency for the IT team. Instead of switching between multiple tools, everything is available in one dashboard, which simplifies daily monitoring tasks and improves response time. All integrations are available, and the network mapping is the best part for understanding the environment. It supports all protocols, and all network-related integrations are covered. All in one platform as currently we were using multiple tools for the server, network. asset, patch management and monitoring which makes it multiple alert based platforms difficult to manage, with motadata we are projecting the early alert based issues which can help in avoiding the big impactful issues in state data centre. Currently what i can assume is the session time out and refresh sessions of motadata tool while monitoring, incase of any website going down it generates alert but as soon as the site is up it takes time or needs to be refresh to update current scenario of application. It is helpling us in providing the critical alerts and tickets of servers and network components that may be incase of memory utilisation, CPU utilisation , process hindrance or network issues . As we are working in critical environment in state data centre where small incidents can create a big blunder if ignored so with the help of motadata we are able to pre plan our actions for the incidents.
