The loan ledger in MA allows the user to separate outstanding interest from outstading fees. This gives us a better breakdown of the outstanding loan balance. The legacy system we used before provided one lump sum outstanding balance that included all fees and interest. Additionally entering new purchases, topping up an exisiting investor position, processing redemptions and paying investor dividends is very simple process in MA.
