For manager due diligence I am not aware of any other platform that has the amount of data on so many different strategies. What do you dislike about Morningstar Direct? There are some instances where making updates to reports to include new data points or updating data may not be the most user friendly. What do you dislike about Morningstar Direct? I believe that better work can be done from the point of view of the Analytics Lab and all those features related to big data. Nowadays, most companies, especially in the financial sector, integrate high technical and analytical skills into their teams (in particular, data mining, analysis, and, in short, all those necessary for the exploitation of big data). Therefore, my suggestion in terms of product development is to focus on the features of the future and not to improve reporting tables, which are slow and (compared to the use of raw data) not very flexible.
