"Almost there - a promising monitoring app"
3.5/5
What do you like best about MonSpark?

Things I like:

- a good amount of monitors

- the status pages

- notification options (SMS, email, call) - but I hope I can use my own Twilio account, I haven't got to look into details yet.

- excellent design of the dashboard and interface

Things I'd like to see:

- A better way to manage monitors (turn on/off) per each domain (website address). Instead of adding them one at a time and mixing them in a long, un-browsable list.

- Grouping websites by custom tags/folders/clients can further improve this... It would make it easy to manage and browse the monitored websites. A good example is to look at the way ManageWP does it.

- being able to schedule reports

- I want to be able to click on a website and see all the related monitors and historical graphs, send reports, assign tags/clients, and dig down and track downtimes & issues... I like how we can filter the down monitors currently in the main dashboard. Similarly, we could filter historical data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MonSpark?

- issues with some monitors: sitemaps don't work at all as the monitors appear down. I had whitelisted the IPs in Cloudflare, no change.

- text and screenshot monitoring, monitors go down. The text did work, at least; it sent a notification on a price change. But at this very moment, it shows being down. I like having the details shown in the email; it does not require following a link and checking the webpage to see what changed.

- the current method of adding notification emails is per each monitor. However, I do not like to have to enter and reenter emails for clients and hunt for all the different monitors used on their websites...

- no US/ Canada server locations at this point

- limited integrations, would like more options besides Zappier Syncspider, webhooks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MonSpark Review: Reliable Web Application Monitoring Tool"
4/5
What do you like best about MonSpark?

What I like best about MonSpark is the ability to monitor multiple web applications on one dashboard, which makes it easy to keep track of everything in one place. The integrations with Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zapier also make it simple to get notifications in the channels I’m already using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MonSpark?

However, one downside of MonSpark is that it can be a bit expensive compared to some other monitoring tools on the market. Additionally, while the customizable status pages are a great feature, they can be a bit complicated to set up and customize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Top Tier UpTime Monitoring & Status Pages"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MonSpark?

The status page feature is amazing. The design is nice and loads quickly. The features I have used the most (for over a month now) and loved the most are:

Uptime monitor

Ping monitor

TCP monitor

Lighthouse audits

There are many more monitor types for sure, but those are the ones I have primarily been using to keep a track on my website and I can say they work wonders to show the changes to my website performance. I am very happy with this purchase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MonSpark?

The main thing I dislike is on the status pages, there is a setting to add the various social media platforms. I have tried using the LinkedIn feature and is is buggy. My Linkedin profile is not a company URL eg.

https://linkedin.com/company/username

When I enter a Linkedin username eg. adrian.bryan, what occurs is the URL looks like

https://linkedin.com/company/adrian.bryan

Which is incorrect and leads to no account. Ultimately it does not seem like personal Linkedin accounts can be used at the moment, only business Linkedin accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Comprehensive Website Monitoring Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about MonSpark?

I love to have the ability to track multiple websites and apps in one place and having the dashboard reporting everything in a simple to read interface, including ping times, SEO issues, SSL status and others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MonSpark?

There are limited costumization and branding options available. It would be usefull to have custom CSS for the status page to make it match our own branding. On the positive side, the interface is quite good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great way to keep an eye on things"
4/5
What do you like best about MonSpark?

Monspark allows me to customize my experience to suit my specific needs, providing a comprehensive overview of the uptime of all my websites. It’s easy to use, with a simple interface allowing me to quickly access detailed information on my websites' performance. The dashboard also allows me to set thresholds for alert notifications, so I can be alerted if a website goes down or starts to experience issues. With detailed analytics, I can track the performance of my websites over time, allowing me to identify potential problems and address them quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MonSpark?

Nothing to dislike, really. I'm just looking forward to seeing new features down the line! If Monspark could integrate with WordPress (like keep an eye on updates needed), that would be amazing - but I know that is probably beside the scope of their target audience. What do you dislike about MonSpark?

I notice that when wanting to see more uptime results per page, the site tends to feel slow, but apart from that is a must-have tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Monspark is a top-notch monitoring service"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MonSpark?

I recently tried out MonSpark - a website monitoring service - and I'm happy to give it a thumbs-up! It has a great selection of monitors, and the customization status page features are really useful. Since I'm located in France, I haven't had an opportunity to use the SMS, email, or call notifications yet, but I'm sure it's a great addition when enabled. I love the surface flow view currently in beta, which provides an overall picture of all monitors applied to each website. Bravo!

The interface and dashboard design are unique, and I love that they include some tools that I could sell to my client as a premium SEO service. Most of all, I'm impressed by the comprehensive roadmap MonSpark has in place. This company is clearly invested in its mission to provide a top-notch website monitoring service, customer support is excellent, and the roadmap is promising!

Highly recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MonSpark?

Note that I'm not an expert in website monitoring, and I can't compare it with other tools on the market, so I can't provide a thorough review regarding the reliability of these indicators. But from what I can say, SEO features are reliable and well thought out; nothing to complain about, a pure joy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
