**What do you like best about Monodevelop?**

I like the simplicity of MonoDevelop and how it's directly integrated into Unity, fantastic. I can use it to code with C#, Boo, and Java. All variables are colored and such. Code fits nicely and auto-indents when writing C# functions. 

**What do you dislike about Monodevelop?**

It takes about 2-5 minute to start up, and run terribly slow. Crashes sometimes.

**What problems is Monodevelop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I realized that Visual Studio could easily top this. The debugger isn't as good as Visual Studio, and visual studio is more colorful.

That I can use it with Unity development and has a great community

It doesn't have as good as debugger compared to VS

It is free so that helps me develop using it with ease.

**What do you like best about Monodevelop?**

Integrated with Unity. Method and syntax auto-completion.

**What do you dislike about Monodevelop?**

Slow and annoying performance. Synchronization with Unity leaves less to be desired.

**Recommendations to others considering Monodevelop:**

You might want to try other editors. I use Sublime Text 2, since where it lacks (autocompletion) it gives back (fast and responsive).

**What problems is Monodevelop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making quick sets of code for Unity projects. I benefited from the direct link stablished between Monodevelop and Unity to make sure that my code worked on Unity.
