"Use verifiable activity data to transform supplier management and cost analysis."
5/5
What do you like best about Monitask?

Time tracking at project level integrated with procurement platform is needed for my job. My 5 strong sourcing specialists use it to log hours against certain supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and quality audits. For instance, my recent “Tonic Plant Fiber” sourcing project or the “EU Packaging Compliance” review. With the automatic stealth screenshots ensuring I have focus time, plus the weekly report by supplier and project phase, I have just what I require to perform cost analysis and department review. What do you dislike about Monitask?

The reporting of the platform isn't natively integrated with our ERP’s procurement module (NetSuite). To try to understand then cost of sourcing initiative for example, I need to export time data from Monitask over to material costs in NetSuite (and export and map another column back) which can take us a couple hour every quarter spending review. "Transparent Dashboards and Productivity Insights That Empower Teams"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Monitask?

As a co-founder, I need transparency not micromanaging. Monitask’s rich dashboards and automatic reports give me just that. We use it to track the time my editorial and sales teams spend on specific projects — say, our “Q1 Industry Forecast” report or the “Programmatic Advertising” webinar series. There’s tracking — silent, automatic tracking — so we can measure against real work patterns, and weekly productivity insights to help me uncover bottlenecks or notice that our design team is spending too much time on revisions versus creating new content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Monitask?

The platform is not seamlessly integrated with our primary CMS. We need to manually reconcile Monitask time logged with real article and campaign publish dates using our CMS —another step into for every vertical at the end of the month to calculate profitability. "Critical to Monitor Sales Team Productivity and Optimise Client Outreach"
5/5
What do you like best about Monitask?

The automatic time tracking and activity tracking are absolutely key to keeping on top of the remote sales team I manage. We log time spent on the desktop app under headings such as “prospecting for new wholesale accounts,” “following up (with) the Spring ’25 collection” and “managing VIP client orders.” The ability to take a stealth screenshot every 15 minutes makes for an unobtrusive but clear view of the work staff are doing, and weekly reports that break down hours by client/client task make their way into my one-on-ones with each sales rep. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Monitask?

When sales reps are on the go, we can't use quick task-switching in mobile app. For instance, when a rep is at a trade show and has to track time against multiple client meetings from his phone — it’s too complicated. Also, there could be more customizable fields for reporting on sales-specific things (lead pipeline stages should have more freedom). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Critical to Maximizing Floor Staff Efficiency and Labor Costs"
5/5
What do you like best about Monitask?

The task level monitoring and stealth are great for retail management. My team uses the desktop dashboard to track their time against specified in-store tasks such as “stockroom inventory,” “click-and-collect order processing” and “floor replenishment.” The ability to schedule automated screenshots allows for effortless discreet monitoring of live work on our back-office systems without disturbing the team. The split by task on hours report is perfect for what I need to go over with my store manager during our labor budgeting meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Monitask?

PLU entry is simplistic, perhaps too much so for a retail operation. If employees are pushed to cover breaks or lend support on a different floor, they should be able to easily change tasks from a store tablet rather than go all the way back as well. The existing app doesn’t have great support of this quick-switch workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for Project Tracking and Audit-Proof Financials"
5/5
What do you like best about Monitask?

I manage capitalizations for international digital projects as finance lead for IT. We require Monitask’s integration of tracking at the project level with our Jira. My team uses it to verify the hours recorded by developers on the “EU E-commerce Platform Migration” and the “Sustainable Materials API” specific epics. Screenshots and activity logs are automated, providing us with audit-proof evidence to properly capitalize development costs versus expense operational work for our quarterly financials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Monitask?

To meet multi-currency project accounting, the reporting needs to automatically align. When I review the budget for the Asia-Pacific rollout of our store systems, I convert and reconcile USD-tracked hours from Monitask with our local-currency budgets in SAP manually, taking a half-day in the monthly close. What do you like best about Monitask?

The stealth monitoring and automated reporting provide me with a quick, discreet view of how our team is really spending their time on hundreds of client campaigns. It simply is time for all of us to let those wonderful words resonate through our organization, embrace them with open arms and start acting like we believe in what it says.

Feel free to stand tall and celebrate this great achievement! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Features are solid however the repotting functionality could be more tailored to allow for use with clients. We have to manually short through and put data from Monitask into our own company branded templates for quality meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Disrupts Extraction of Intelligence from Market Labor Data"
5/5
What do you like best about Monitask?

Being able to link team effort directly with campaign results is priceless. It’s not only about tracking hours, but it also tells us how our time for SEO, content creation and reporting actually translates to measurable results for clients. AI improved productivity insights allow us to see which activities really contribute to our ROI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Monitask?

Thereis nothing not to like, but I wish the interface for driling down from high level campaign dashboards to actual task-level data was a bit more intuitive. At times it can also take a few too many clicks to nail down how much time you want someone to spend on A granular piece of work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Downright Must-Have for an Agency that operates transparently with clients."
5/5
What do you like best about Monitask?

Activity tracking and auto-reporting are very accurate which is essential to manage our high volume of PPC & social campaigns. It objectively gives us irrefutable data on how often our team is investing its time across all of our clients, which is key when managing over $500M in ad spend. stealth mode that I need my productivity report every day and it saves me hours of micro-managing our team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Monitask?

Though fulsome in its own right, the dashboard can come across as cluttered when you're looking to snatch a granular overview for the campaign lifecycle of a particular client. I would like to see more "one-click" filters to segment data by client, platform, task type etc. for quick review meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Guarantees responsibility and safeguards margins in a high-profile PR Atmosphere"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Monitask?

The ADA stealth mode monitoring and activity logs give us full, non-obtrusive transparency into how our teams are executing time-sensitive PR campaigns, media buys, and communications in crises. It’s a relief knowing that client budgets are being applied to real, concentrated work and effort during these times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Monitask?

The reporting is great for internal review, but it’s not easily conducive to package up and include in client facing deliverables like campaign wrap reports or media performance audits. The data often need to be transpose manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Crucial for client facing transparency and scoping"
5/5
What do you like best about Monitask?

Automated time tracking’s precision and project-based reports’ clarity cannot be compared with others. This is useful for helping to prove where time has been spent on an SEO, PPC or development project for each client – this increases trust and reduces any ongoing need to justify our work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Monitask?

Posts are quite detailed, but I'd like to see more pre-built templates particularly for digital agency KPIs (although we have started setting up our own from some of the posts) which would save time in monthly client reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
