At present, I work as a Maintenance Supervisor at Watershed, and our main task is to ensure the smooth operation of the company’s physical and digital landscapes to carry out our sustainability missions. I find the most appealing thing about the Monitask program to be the transparent features for our remote facilities coordinators. The fact that the program incorporates screenshot features is a great thing for me because it ensures the accuracy of the execution of work without my constant intervention. This is a very lightweight program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest challenge for our particular role would be the absence of an effective app for offline activities. As part of the maintenance crew, we need to be in the field or away from our desk to check on the equipment of the retail store. Monitask being more of a desk app makes it hard to keep track of actual time spent on physical repairs, unless we log it later. Another feature that would make Monitask more effective would be the ability for the app to notify the team when someone starts their shift. Currently, I have to press the dashboard to see who is online for the morning maintenance sweep. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
