The whole sales team can keep track of their prospects and leads in one place. I can check in and see in real time what they are doing. Notes can be left on each prospect. Automations can be created to update follow up dates. Navigating monday Work Management is smooth and easy. I am able to make boards private or share them across the entire team. It seems to handle a heavy workload just fine. Right now we have over 3000 prospects/leads in it and it has not slowed down at all. I really like monday Work Management because it's simple to use and very intuitive. I appreciate how easily customizable it is to fit the way I like to work. I'm only just discovering the features where you can record the time that you spend on tasks. I think one of the areas to enhance, is if you could plug your Zoom meeting summaries straight into monday Work Management and have them automatically populate as actions in a particular board. Monday Work Management is incredibly intuitive for new users, while still offering several in-depth processes and tools for more experienced users. It’s exceptionally easy to build just about any type of data-management board for a wide variety of projects. I’ve been able to track hundreds of projects at the same time without sacrificing time or quality.

The ability to leverage gen AI to help optimize workflow just by chatting with it through a sidebar on any board is a game changer.

Being able to assign tasks to specific team members and connecting responses through the built in logic has been essential for maintaining efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

The support options have been amazing as well. Quick response times, and I even encountered a situation where one of the operators recorded an entire video explaining how to resolve a unique issue.

I've had no issues integrating my boards into external projects through the ability to simply export and convert them into Excel docs. Not to mention zero performance issues, no data loss, or stuttering. I'm loyal to this software for all my projects moving forward.

I genuinely have very little to complain about regarding Work Management. My only real issue has been during the interactions with AI while trying to refine and make updates to an existing work form. Generative AI can often fumble simple instructions, and the more you try to explain the desired resolution, the more it repeats the mistakes. What I like most is the AI that actually does project management work, not just writing.The AI blocks inside the workflow are a game changer. I don't need a separate AI tool to summarize updates or reassign tasks it lives inside the boards. The timeline+ dependencies+ AI risk prediction finally lets me see in one place if we will actually hit a TX date. It has been very easy for me to create fairly complex chains of automations, updates, etc., for both internal usage as well as bringing subcontractors into the processes. It has also been helpful in its ability to integrate with existing programs and software to optimize work and to smooth transitions for users that are unfamiliar with Monday. This product has been a big help for our company. I haven’t run into any issues so far, so I honestly don’t have anything negative to point out. Everything can live in Monday.com. You have to be organized about what you're doing and how but you can truly adapt it to any situation. Its web based so you can access it anywhere and its very collaborative.

There are only really 3 things I dislike about Monday work management:

1. reliability- there haven't been many times that Monday.com was down or experiencing difficulty (2 over the course of 1.5 years) but when it is down, it's a huge problem because I do everything on the platform.

2. the necessity to use an outside tool to truly collaborate from board to board. I use the same item, multiple boards app which essentially allows you to truly mirror a line from one board/workspace to another. Mirroring lines doesn't do the trick. This costs us an additional $500/month but has been key to making collaboration successful on this platform.

3. I feel like Monday.com started out as a tool for marketers but now they've gotten away from that. When I look online for advice on setting up boards and workflows for an in house marketing team, I get almost no results and what results I do get tend to be for agencies, not in house teams. I continue to struggle as our team and needs evolve but I work it out through trial and error every time.

4. Not great support- When I was struggling with how to set something up once, I reached out to our Monday.com rep and she offered nothing helpful. She didn't truly listen to my needs and challenges and offered the same advice a high level google search would. All things that I had already tried. No alternatives were suggested and she just stopped returning my emails. I felt like I was bothering her. Our tech stack is pretty deep and I experience much better support from other platforms, despite having an enterprise account with Monday.com. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
