It can support a wide range of workflows, from simple task tracking to complex product and project management. The platform is highly customizable, with powerful automations, dashboards, and integrations that make it easy to organize work across teams. However, monday has been moving in the wrong direction in several areas. Pricing is becoming increasingly difficult to justify. Many essential capabilities are locked behind higher-tier plans, and costs rise quickly as teams grow. The company’s current AI strategy also feels misguided. AI is promoted everywhere, but much of it adds little real value in daily work. Instead of solving meaningful workflow problems, many AI features feel like superficial additions designed to follow the market trend. I would rather see engineering resources invested in improving the platform itself, performance, and core project management capabilities. Customer support has also deteriorated. Replacing much of the support experience with AI has made it unnecessarily difficult to reach a knowledgeable human when facing technical or billing issues. Customer service is friendly. **What do you dislike about monday AI Work Platform?** The app feels like it was written by interns in 2003. - Slow and bloated (more than a few comments = always loads all of them resulting is super slow load times) - Search doesn't search everything, just the titles of stuff (need to search for something you put in a comment or description? Too bad... this is 100% inexcusable) - Notifications are not intuitive causing you to miss notices - Interface is illogical and convoluted; like someone thought "What if we tried to copy Asana but didn't do any user testing or hire a professional UX team" - Keyboard shortcuts that they chose are the same as some browser keyboard shortcuts. Highlighting the URL in Chrome is CMD+L, but if you do that while on Monday.com it loads the 'logs' ... worst of all, it loads the logs in such a way that you can't use your back button to go back to the previous page, and closing the logs doesn't return you to the previous page, so you basically lost whatever screen you were on with no way to recover it other than to try and remember the title and search for it. I mean, just mind numbingly annoying stuff. Anyone who has used Asana, Trello, Basecamp, or others will not like this software as it is miles and miles behind those products. **Recommendations to others considering monday AI Work Platform:** Don't walk, but run to Asana, Basecamp, Trello, and other options that are lightyears better than this product. **What problems is monday AI Work Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have to work on Monday.com because one of our clients uses it. Would be better used as a daily task tracker. My design team and people who really love simple UX were big fans. It was also fairly simply to onboard new team members. **What do you dislike about monday AI Work Platform?** The capabilities are very limited if you are managing a large project with multiple resources, milestones and dependencies. As soon as things got more complicated than a to do list, Monday's capabilities were extremely limited. It is such an amazing tool. We were remarkably excited after we demoed the product and invested for 2 years. From graphic design to multimedia review to social media posting to podcast review and website tracking - on the surface, it enables a level of reporting and efficiency that teams with older software's will love. If your team doesn't use a project management system or is using whiteboards, I recommend you register for an account today. **What do you dislike about monday AI Work Platform?** All of Monday's app's and web experience becomes extremely bogged down when you have more than just a few items in a board. We use several boards with hundreds of pulses, and the system keeps slowing down, the website crashes, and the app consumes unnecessary memory. It's not the easiest solution to use for large teams - and it is expensive for more and more uses. **Recommendations to others considering monday AI Work Platform:** Sharing with outside contractors and other organized teams can happen outside of the paid user employees - this helps cut down costs and allows other organizations that use Monday to add your board to their list. Just remember, Monday will save a lot of time and increase efficiency. It will not spare you from constant updates, crashes, and other computer/cloud service obstructions. Monday allows the executive, management, and team leaders to take a view of the actual workload and schedule projects and deadlines accordingly. While the amount of work hasn't been adjusted, team members are able to band together and the rate of projects being completed on time has nearly tripled. Projects are not getting forgotten, and the reports enable an overview look of all the creative content in construction. ### 31. The rest of things that one might say are positive about it, are simply standard with every other issue tracker. **What do you dislike about monday AI Work Platform?** I dislike the interface and how it's failed to evolve with the amount of content being shown. I dislike the side bar that is too thin to read people's updates/info boxes. I dislike the replied comments have nested responses worse than 90s email where it gets so thin that it's one word per line. I dlslike the slow animations and drag-dropping features. I dislike the lack of clarity about what things do, and the hidden menus that only appear when you hover over something but don't have a tool tip to say what they do, and the fact that they stay there until you click something else on the site. I dislike the way things have unexpected click events when you want to highlight and copy a line of text but it opens a menu instead where you still can't highlight the line with a triple click. I dislike that there's no button that goes directly to a page where you can see everything assigned to you (You have to type your name into the search bar every time you want to view this page) **Recommendations to others considering monday AI Work Platform:** I've used Redmine and found it to be more sophisticated/professional than DaPulse. DaPulse is like the kids version of an issue tracking software with lots of color and unnecessary bling features like animation and drag and drop. I used Trello a little bit, and I guess this is like a Trello with the whole drag-dropping, but it just doesn't feel right for a large company with hundreds of issues. I cannot recommend a better issue tracking software because I haven't used enough to make a decision, but the next one we go with will be Jira so I look forward to learning it. **What problems is monday AI Work Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We record our bugs, issues, feature todo lists.
