The primary benefit is the ability to our sales team to have the documents/images/videos they need on the go and track when customers are opening them. Virtual product tours also allow customers to interact with the product and zoom in and out of it.
I also really like the ability to manage the content and when it becomes available, what languages/regions they apply to, and the ability to notify users across various platforms that the content is now available.

The virtual product tour creation still needs further improvements to simplify content creation. Some expected functions like easily changing font sizes, colors, etc. aren't available yet and so it make creation of content somewhat difficult. Right now, MODUS doesn't have integrations into certain platforms (though they do have some popular ones) limiting some of the cross platform applications. We've been utilizing Modus to collect leads at events. It does this very well. The team at Modus is extremely easy to work with and easy to get ahold of. I really don't dislike much, but if I have to be picky... I would say allowing a little more flexibility for event managers to update forms and analytics themselves (versus the app admin), that might be helpful. Being able to host marketing collateral fully on the cloud so that users don't have to download any content to their mobile phones would be the other suggestion. The overview, the structure/navigation are good. The functions to copy and tag folders work fine. I like the function to have streaming media, so the device of the sales agent doesn't get full. I like how easy the app interface is to use for both the administrator and the user. Administrators can easily add, change and move content around. Users have access to content offline that they can easily send via email to customers. They also have great customer service and quickly help you with any problems you might encounter. Modus has slowly become our "one source of truth" for all marketing collateral. Updating older pieces takes minutes and it is immediately deployed to each salesperson's iPad via the app. Sharing content with contacts is very easy and you can get some good analytics once something is sent. We also use Modus for lead scanning at many tradeshows and it becomes very easy to quickly followup with each lead by sending them content, again all through the app! Being in the regulatory world, it is important to lock presentations in order to present to customers and prospects. It worked great when the team was armed with Apple Ipads but when we switched to MS Surface Pros the MS products leave the modus interface and launch in MS, unlocking the presentations. I wish we received a bit more support when there is an issue or bug with our app. They are really good at submitting tickets right away, but it never seems like we get an actual answer or a solve to the problems. We've had issues ensuring that the tracking data is accurate. I've had to do significant troubleshooting on my own in order to understand what actions created good tracking and what interactions failed to be captured in the analytics. There could be some improvements with the way templates are created, to reduce some manual work. It would also be helpful to have a search feature added to the list that is selected for leads to flow to your CRM.
