What do you like best?

An all-in-one sales tool that allows our sales team to provide an interactive experience with customers. The app provides a way to showcase our products in 3D spins through the Modus virtual product tour. The app also provides ease of access to our product information and a way for our sales team to send trackable followup emails to their prospective clients. What do you dislike?

There is nothing that I strongly dislike. The only thing that would be nice is to have a standalone app that has been branded for our company. It would also be nice to have more analytics on customer interaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The primary benefit is the ability to our sales team to have the documents/images/videos they need on the go and track when customers are opening them. Virtual product tours also allow customers to interact with the product and zoom in and out of it.

I also really like the ability to manage the content and when it becomes available, what languages/regions they apply to, and the ability to notify users across various platforms that the content is now available.

Best of all is the training and the support... MODUS stands by you during implementation phase and wants to ensure the success of their users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The virtual product tour creation still needs further improvements to simplify content creation. Some expected functions like easily changing font sizes, colors, etc. aren't available yet and so it make creation of content somewhat difficult. Right now, MODUS doesn't have integrations into certain platforms (though they do have some popular ones) limiting some of the cross platform applications. Sales enablement on the go. While we use Salesforce.com as our CRM, it doesn't provide the files sales enablement that is required for our sales team. MODUS allows them to distribute content to our customers and have them track whether the content has been viewed. On the marketing side, it allows us to determine which content is being used and what are our most viewed content so we can continue to create/improve our content going forward. What do you like best?

Modus is great to work with, they are prompt, have creative ideas and are true partner in your app needs. The app they developed for us helped to solve a problem in our National Retail space where we wanted to reach more sellers quickly and with fun ways to deliver content. Reaching a national retailer seller in large box stores is difficult since they are 3rd party sellers and often sell more than just AT&T . The app that Modus partnered with is to create called AT&T SalesPro has bridged that gap with a platform that supports, micro learning, sales sheets with promotions, and push notifications for communications. What do you like best?

We've been utilizing Modus to collect leads at events. It does this very well. The team at Modus is extremely easy to work with and easy to get ahold of. I've had to troubleshoot at events and they always find a satisfactory solution to issues as they arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I really don't dislike much, but if I have to be picky... I would say allowing a little more flexibility for event managers to update forms and analytics themselves (versus the app admin), that might be helpful. Being able to host marketing collateral fully on the cloud so that users don't have to download any content to their mobile phones would be the other suggestion. We tend to use personal devices as well as company-owned tablets... so the less you have to download onto the device the better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Prior to working with Modus, we were manually inputting business cards into and spreadsheet and then sending those to our sales reps. Our sales reps would then send those to our dealer network. The app automates this entire process through badge scanning. Modus also implemented a product tour capability to the app. This allows us to show our perspective customers the equipment without it being present. What do you like best?

The overview, the structure/navigation are good. The functions to copy and tag folders work fine. I like the function to have streaming media, so the device of the sales agent doesn't get full. What do you dislike?

the amount of time it takes to get one file in the right place, tagging locations, clicking languages etc.

There are no good functions to find duplicate content. the overview of all the files is not good.Uploads take a lot of time and sometimes the system tends to fail.

The system is slow and doesn't have a good overview functionality. Content can easily live in several places and be duplicate. When different users are uploading the same files, there is no alarm function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To push a massive amount of content to our sales people and distributors. To tag different languages and to get a structure in the big mass of content/media. We use Modus to manage our salestool / communications tool database. Which contains brochures, videos, manuals, pictures, training presentations and whitepapers. What do you like best?

I like how easy the app interface is to use for both the administrator and the user. Administrators can easily add, change and move content around. Users have access to content offline that they can easily send via email to customers. They also have great customer service and quickly help you with any problems you might encounter. What do you dislike?

The downside of using the app is that their is a standard template for using the app and it takes time to format it to your exact specifications. The app can become quite large as well if you don't monitor how large it becomes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our sales people can easily find our marketing content on the go and send out to their customers from within the app. It saves them time and energy. I have brought Modus to three companies, start at AppData Room. Very pleased with products, support, and sales team. My biggest need now is better pricing on Lead capture. I have spoken numerous times to sales team and their pricing model makes no financial sense company doing limited meetings/events. Too expensive. I wish they could do better. What do you like best?

Modus has slowly become our "one source of truth" for all marketing collateral. Updating older pieces takes minutes and it is immediately deployed to each salesperson's iPad via the app. Sharing content with contacts is very easy and you can get some good analytics once something is sent. We also use Modus for lead scanning at many tradeshows and it becomes very easy to quickly followup with each lead by sending them content, again all through the app! What do you dislike?

I wish there was a bit more customization of the app itself to match our brand, but this is a small complaint. Sometimes lead scanning can be glitchy and I've heard of salespeople "losing data" before submission during heavy use times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Content syndication and distribution become much easier with Modus. It makes life easier for the marketing team as well as for the sales team. What do you dislike?

Being in the regulatory world, it is important to lock presentations in order to present to customers and prospects. It worked great when the team was armed with Apple Ipads but when we switched to MS Surface Pros the MS products leave the modus interface and launch in MS, unlocking the presentations. Modus is a powerful tool for our sales team for training and selling. It is simple to train new employees on and rarely do users have any issues with it. I wish we received a bit more support when there is an issue or bug with our app. They are really good at submitting tickets right away, but it never seems like we get an actual answer or a solve to the problems. I love the tracking capabilities of the Modus System as well as the ease of use of the system. As a manager, I also really like how I can view and understand how my team is using the system and what media content is successful and which is not working. We've had issues ensuring that the tracking data is accurate. I've had to do significant troubleshooting on my own in order to understand what actions created good tracking and what interactions failed to be captured in the analytics. What do you like best?

Folder structure can be a challenge at a time as you get several layers deep, not sure how you got there, etc. Could be easier to replace or upload out of date content. Modus is a great event management tool that has intuitive user interface, making product content easily impact to viewers, and also integrates with many CRM and marketing automation platforms.

It enables sales people to present to clients with appealing contents, also it is flexible to customize in a branded way.

It's great in terms of user experience, functionalities, and integrations. What do you like best?

I like the simple integrations with HubSpot and Salesforce. It allows the data captured by Modus to easily help us in our marketing nurturing campaigns, and also helps sales to follow up with leads who are ready to hear from us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There could be some improvements with the way templates are created, to reduce some manual work. It would also be helpful to have a search feature added to the list that is selected for leads to flow to your CRM. We used Modus to eliminate manual uploads of trade show leads in HubSpot and Salesforce. All of our data matches across platforms, which makes a huge difference when it comes to accurate data and a better flow from lead capture to marketing initiatives to sales outreach. What do you like best?

No costly or complex configuration, so it's easy to get started. Easy to maintain as well. Their support team is quick to respond to issues/questions. Priced very competitively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you were to look at Gartner's uses cases for sales engagement platforms, you do not see Modus reviewed. If you were to compare Modus to some of these companies included, you would find that some of these features aren't offered with Modus - at least not quite yet. What do you like best?

Fairly easy to add and edit content, compatible with different devices. Stores all of our marketing content in one place and it is easy to navigate to the content you need during a sales presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some limitations in terms of type of content, additional features such as reporting are not included and require additional costs to the already high price point per user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Modus allowed us to make our digital marketing collateral available to our sales reps so they could share the information with potential customers. We could add / modify collateral with minimal effort, and the app provided analytics we used to understand utilization of our collateral. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

While Modus made some improvement to the analytics over time, there is still much room for improvement in the format of reports. The reporting did not provide data in a format that was easily digested or analyzed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Prior to implementing Modus, 1) our reps carried hard copies of marketing collateral to provide potential customers, and they did not have access to show video collateral; and 2) from an administrative level we had no visibility into utilization data for each piece of collateral. What do you like best?

The possibility to upload all kind of documents and media in different languages, which will be available offline for all the users and the alert when something new has been published Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bugs which sometimes arrive, especially when it's up to the localization in different languages Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Now my sales force has immediate access to everything available on their device. Number of requests for sending material has decreased consistently. ease of use - especially with Agendas and Followup Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

When you search - you are unable to see the directory from which the item is located. So if an item is listed in two places - it is hard to isolate it to remove duplicates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
