I've tried and used multiple solution for managing dozens of WordPress websites. Modular DS has been delivering great results at a price point that still keeps it interesting to offer maintenance services to small and medium sized clients. The software is easy to use and super fast!

Support is incredibly fast with providing answers and solutions when facing an issue. Besides, what's important for me is to see progress and improvements on platforms such as this one. The only thing I could think of is the lack of back-ups to external platforms (IE: Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) and creating global back-up settings (like the new global reports) so that I can plan something like: 2-daily database back-ups per day and one weekly full-site back-up. Modular DS is a WordPress website management SaaS tool with a clean, simple, easy-to-use UI and is feature rich.

As of today, the following features are in progress according to their roadmap and I know that many of us requested those:

1. 1 click backup restoration

2. Responsive version. Currently, you cannot do anything on your mobile phones.

3. Database Optimization

Based on a lot of feedback, they listened and already put a bunch of features to be implemented during 2025, some as early as first quarter of 2025.

I am particularly interested in:

1. Backups to 3rd party storage. I would like for them to support encryption with our own password/passphrase.

2. Report Templates

3. Safe Updates

4. Be able to select multiple sites for updates

5. Clone/migrate and create staging sites.

Backups and updates ran fast in my testing of one of my production sites.

I would like for them to also look at some integrations so that we could automate report related workflows/tasks. Currently, Reports can be manually created as one-off or set up as scheduled as Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly. There's nothing to dislike for me so far, this team is working restlessly and bringing new updates and features all the time. I'm hoping for more integrations besides Google in the future.
