Recommendations to others considering Modo:

Start slow, learn the lingo. For me at least, I had to learn what things were called before I could ask a question that helped me. The community of users has some serious technical and artistic talent and are very helpful. This goes a long way to offsetting the complexity of MODO at the outset. What problems is Modo solving and how is that benefiting you?

I do explainer animations for technology companies. MODO provides ways to demonstrate complex processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Modo is excellent for modeling, shading, and rendering. No good for dynamics ... simulations etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its quite intuitive with lighting and layouts of objects to produce ideas . I can quickly itterate ideas to make many final images . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a great software for complex shapes, You will be able to combine traditional modelling with procedural and sculpting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Flexibility using mesh fusion and bezier curves helps me a lot on complex shapes which the traditional modelling would take me hours to approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
