There's a lot of functionality that can be expanded upon and the taxonomies can be changed as well to fit with the particular way that an event is scheduled and/or structured. **What do you dislike about Modern Events Calendar?** I just like the fact that you can't get it in the WordPress directory anymore but that's only a minor issue and is easy to get through their website. **What problems is Modern Events Calendar solving and how is that benefiting you?** It can do everything for your event including calendar management as well as registration and ticket.
