Describe the project or task Modern Campus Message (Formerly Signal Vine) helped with:

As academic advisors, we use Signalvine to send snippets of helpful information to our students. Students find text messaging familiar and engaging. For quick questions, SIgnalvines makes it so that student doesn't need to schedule a 30-minute appointment for something answerable in 1 minute over text. For more complicated questions, we can direct students to schedule an appointment by including the link in our Signalvine reply. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Modern Campus Message (Formerly Signal Vine)?

The software has artificial intelligence that automatically responds to frequently asked questions over text. You can customize the AI to your school and your students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Modern Campus Message (Formerly Signal Vine)?

The app can be a little slow. There is a lagtime when flagging messages for follow-up or marking as completed. I find myself manually refreshing the screen a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Modern Campus Message (Formerly Signal Vine) solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Modern Campus Message (Formerly Signal Vine)?

Signal Vine not only allowed us to text students but allowed us to gather valuable data while doing so! We could meet our students where they were while also learning more about them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Modern Campus Message (Formerly Signal Vine)?

There isn't much to dislike. Signal Vine has worked great for us! The only thing that is a bit time-consuming is manually uploading opt-in students to Salesforce as that connection isn't automatic, but all other connections are automatic and easy to set up. What problems is Modern Campus Message (Formerly Signal Vine) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are reaching out to students about application status, upcoming events, and enrollment opportunities. We're meeting them where they are instead of only using email which they often don't check. We also use Signal Vine to allow students who are interested in NOVA to opt-in to our system. This allows them to ask questions via text before they even apply. What do you like best about Modern Campus Message (Formerly Signal Vine)?

We love that Singal Vine allows us to send pre-scheduled messages to students around key steps to college success as well as allows our student's mentors to communicate with their mentees through a secure platform that doesn't require them to use their personal devices. What do you like best about Modern Campus Message (Formerly Signal Vine)?

We use SignalVine to communicate different cohorts of students. I like that it’s convenient, sending messages directly to their phones and allowing them to respond. We can also schedule all of our messages to go out for the future. SignalVine also offers handson support and are constantly adding features to improve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Because you’re sending texts the number of characters are limited so you either have to send multiple messages when responding or use shorthand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
