## Mode Reviews
  ### 1. Super Helpful tool for analysis and dashboard creation ( Updates have made it too slow)

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandra L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

It is super easy to use, it is online and drag and drop features to creat graphs and dashboards make it super easy and intuitive to use, tableu needs a lot of more knowledge to be able to use while mode makes it super easy and friendly

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

Sometimes is too slow to actually run query's which makes it really hard to be efficient at doing analysis,

now even creating raphs takes forever, or even filtering info on the graphics, which makes time super unefficient

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create automated dashboards or anslisis that can be run on the cloud by anyone in the team and can even be filtered out if someone needs to explore further the information making it super easy to use

  ### 2. Good Tool to use with high flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yuqi L. | Senior Product Analyst - Personal Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

- can easily combine python output with built-in visualizations.
- good for code documentation if your analysis includes different data sources or temp tables.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

- each time you switch from/to a chart, the chart will have to be updated. Will be a pain if the data is large. loading time can be 5-6 mins.
- The processing time will be slow if your data is large. Especially for user-level data.
- The filter function doesn't work if you want to filter the same column with a different method. For example, if you want to include the top 10 products without some exceptions.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

solved the problem that we can combine outputs from both SQL and python in the same report. In the meantime, we get the chance to play around with data with flexibility

  ### 3. Pretty good, in some ways better than Tableau, in some ways worse

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crystal H. | Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

It's all web-based, so instead of trading dashboard files around, you know you're looking at the most recent version of the dashboard

It's easy to view queries and query history, including the resulting dataset

The dropdown Parameters and built-in Python notebook are nice bonuses I haven't seen elsewhere

Support team is great!

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

I still consider Mode a not-super-mature company, so some visualizations can't be done, or customizing labels on visualizations.

Organizing dashboards can only be done at one level, in a Collection. You can't have a collection within a collection. The search bar for looking for dashboards doesn't seem to work, and I can't find all dashboards by one person.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visualizing data, seeing trends, exploring datasets. We can monitor how our business is doing. Or visualize A/B experiment results.

  ### 4. Mode Software Review: A Collaborative BI Platform with User-Friendly Interface and Some Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krishna P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

One of the strengths of Mode software is its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy for users to import data and create reports without extensive technical knowledge. The platform also offers various chart types and customization options, allowing users to create visually appealing and informative information.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

performance issues when working with large datasets on Mode, which can slow down the data analysis process. Additionally, the data visualization capabilities of the platform are not as advanced as those of other BI tools, which can limit the types of charts and visualizations that can be created.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mode allows data teams to easily import, clean, and transform large amounts of data from various sources. This saves time and effort that would otherwise be spent on manual data-processing tasks

  ### 5. Great tool for self-serving the data you care about most

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine J. | Senior Customer Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

I like the UI/UX of Mode. The "Collections" and the "Favoriting" functionality make it easy to find dashboards and reports easily. I also like to use Explorations to dig deeper into specific reports or charts.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

I wish there were a way to add a description for each chart or report. Sometimes my analytics team will build dashboards to support various projects, but at times, it's unclear what I'm looking at. It would be nice to have a description field to showcase what each chart displays and how to use it.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a customer marketer, data is critical for me to understand historical performance of programs and shape how I think about future programs. Mode makes it easy for me to self-serve the data I need to make decisions.

  ### 6. Data for the masses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

Mode makes it possible for ordinary people to generate data reports without sophisticated knowledge of database queries (though someone knowlegeable must create the original reports).

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

It's not the most user friendly software, either for creating reports or viewing the results. However, it's far better than direct queries for most users.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to easily review numerous aspects of my team's performance so I can provide individually tailored coaching.

  ### 7. Mode is an excellent data science platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

The ability to run python scripts on the output from the SQL interface. I also really like the tab capability so we can run many different SQL queries all within the same window. Then interact with every dataset from they python interface.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

Sometimes when I have too many data tabs with too much data, the product runs slow and acts buggy. I'd prefer the platform to give me some sort of memory error, but instead it will appear that the query is running, but the query will never finish until I refresh the pages and realize that the query never started.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Exploring our many different datasets. It serves as a platform for testing out queries and experimenting before putting queries into production on our ETL pipeline.

  ### 8. Great tool to query and visualize data

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

I like being able to create definitions with base queries to keep the queries in my reports cleaner.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

I wish I could duplicate a query and its charts into a separate report (vs cloning the entire dashboard or copy and pasting the query). I wish I could more easily organize charts in the report - the drag and drop isn't great. I wish things were more automated (e.g., if I rename a field in a query, it automatically updates in my charts so I don't have to adjust the variable in all the charts). I also wish the charts were a little easier to use or had more options (e.g., two bars + line, two lines + bar)

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding and visualizing customer usage data

  ### 9. Mode is not so good.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis Z. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

Its user interface it's pretty slick, and its presentation is pretty decent and you're able to find controls pretty easily. Also, while looking for reports, if you have them archived correctly, it's pretty easy to find them.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

Unfortunately, something that I dislike it's the loading time when loading a report. You can put in the parameters, hit run, and it will take from 15-30 seconds to load.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mode actually helps us out a lot, we have connected Zendesk and our internal database and it provides us with all types of reports that help us out on all the regular operations we handle. From VIP reports to fulfillment reports, etc.

  ### 10. Very capable data visualization tool, has a few issues with long reports.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ted K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

- The platform is easy to use
- Reasonably detailed visualization editor with lots of options to customize reports
- Decent report-building tool that allows easy digestion of information
- Allows for extensions to standard SQL with python

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

- Can't create drill-down charts and tables without using parameters/filters and re-running reports.
- Has a few bugs where it won't show the most recent run
- Slow to edit long reports

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Mode to provide insight into the health of our customer pipeline, and the efficacy of pilots. It is allowing us to decrease cost and increase customer conversion.

  ### 11. Great for simple queries and vizualizations, but it gets trickier once the level of complexity rises

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alfredo L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

the quick charts functionality. It gets you very far with a simple, but powerful tool. The link between queries and handy vizualization tools is amazing. Security and CX are also nice to haves which work well.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

The notebooks still have a lot of room for improvements. Libraries are not compatible (especially for R) and even if they are, the notebook functionality sometimes doesn't work as an R script or Rmd do.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My analytics work can be shared easily with peers and stakeholders, without risking information leaks with third parties. That is simply crucial and Mode does it well.

  ### 12. Solid SQL IDE with nice visualization tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bjorn C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

It's easy to write SQL and then get some quick vizualizations done.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

I don't think this is Mode's fault but rather Twitch's security apparatus, but I'll get logged-out of Mode without any indication and so a query will keep "running" for a long time and only upon clicking "refresh" will I be told that the query stopped a long time ago but it appeared to be still running because I'd been logged-out.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to query our databases and how to quickly and easily visualize the data that I'm getting back.

  ### 13. Mode user from the CX/Customer Success perspective

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

- Straightforward, clean, and easy-to-use UI/UX (for a non-technical user)
- Meets basic needs and functionality from a Data Analytics perspective

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

- It would be a value-add if Mode gave users the ability to use 'filters' on the report level. At the moment, it is limited to just giving the option to 'sort' by 'ascending' vs. 'descending' order.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Allows us to target select audience members/populations based on certain criteria/conditions to better facilititate our current workflows.
- General data exports from our database base on criteria/conditions.

  ### 14. A nice lightweight alternative to Tableau

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

Easy to write queries and visualise data during my development flow.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

There are quite a lot of small quality of life features that can add up to a bit of a clunky UX. As a couple of examples, I would like to be able to double click fields to add them to the rows/cols. Often reordering values doesn't quite work.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mode allows me to visualise data as I am exploring it. It is also a reasonably good tool for sharing dashboards.

  ### 15. Easy to use and doing some one-shot analysis

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

Mode is easy to use (if you know SQL requests) and to set up some reports. I'm using it to do one-shot analysis or prepare my SQL requests and reports before adding them in another dataviz tool.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

By doing a lot of different SQL requests, it can become harder to organize and find the previous requests. I often have to clean up the folders in order to be able to find again my requests.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's really useful when you need to analyze a database without having to review your data process, you can directly go in Mode, do a request, create reports and see if the analyzis is useful or not before implementing it.

  ### 16. BI Tool that helps deliver analytics fast but not as deep as other tools

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabrina S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

I really like how intuitive Mode is and how easy it is for end-users with not a lot of BI experience create their own reports.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

A lot of the deep analysis or customized visualizations feels like they can only be done using Python Notebooks. I wish there were more customized security features.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mode helps get dashboards out to multiple departments in our company to make data drive decisions and monitor their essential KPIs.

  ### 17. Nice tool with nice integrations.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noe E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

The possibility of working in an integrated environment that makes possible to work with SQL and R/Pythong at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

I think there is some improvement to do with the visualizations; there are some missing features from tableau that I'd like to have back.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is fantastic how Mode has helped us to develop automated to that anyone can use.

  ### 18. My Mode Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

I like the User Interface of Mode, it's clean and easy to understand and use.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

I dislike how when seeking to download the data for one specific thing, it downloads the entire raw data set, I then have to filter it out afterwards on my own.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to pull all of a users data at once and analyze it using different metrics. It also gives us a chance to see things at a more macro level then if we were to inspect things using our own domains.

  ### 19. 90% of my work load goes to Mode, I like how convenient it is for Mode to query and display data.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zongchen T. | Senior Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

- Query Data and also Displaying Data in short Clicks.
- A reporting tool that is easy to pick up and learn.
- Sharing is very friendly amongst other colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

I think Mode needs more Display visualization options, or any custom visualizations would be incredibly helpful. It would be also cool to see connectors put in play.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, we are using Mode to solve our answers on the product, understanding how we are doing from a historical data perspective and its giving us insight on business intelligence.

  ### 20. Easy to read and build

I would like to be able to click in and explore the product more by adding different dimensions

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to keep track of KPIs

  ### 21. Underwriter - Credit Risk Analyst

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Mode?**

It has a good layout. i enjoy the visualisation using canonical queues in Mode (loading screens, etc.)

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

Sometimes I find the database to be a bit slow. Queues won't always refresh effectively and there is sometimes a time delay.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Mode for our queues & also to write queries within SQL and obtain Company data.

  ### 22. Gets the job done.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

  ### 30. Mode Analysis !!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nuria O. | Sales Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Mode?**

Since we implemented the use of this BI system, we carry out powerful exploratory analyzes, its analytical system allows them to be executed quickly and in an advanced way, and we even switch seamlessly between a cloud-based SQL editor and interactive visualizations, achieving a better concentration of all in the right studio. Mode takes an amazing approach to BI and analytics for the organization, combining simplicity with flexibility, allowing us to address a wide range of challenges, from ad hoc analysis to potential reporting.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

Sometimes the display options are limited for experienced experts. However, for moderate users it is extremely truthful. In our organization we use a complementary tool to satisfy needs that warrant this type of resources that the software cannot reach, in such a way that it is not an inconvenience at all.

**Recommendations to others considering Mode:**

For all companies that handle searchable data sources, Mode is the effective tool to improve their workflow and potential income, allowing even quick answers to new questions. It is flexible, cloud-based so it is very lightweight, based on built-in Python & R notebooks to make it completely professional. It allows you to easily and directly share the collected data on your product, website, social networks or application.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We leverage all product and marketing data to correct any weaknesses we found; we improved our product and information destination performance, and now we understand turnover much better - before it happens. Having used Qlik, Tableau and even Google Sheets, I needed a platform that would allow me to transform our data to improve strategy and processes, therefore we found in Mode what we needed.

Writing our own SQL queries is really rewarding, we request different sets of data that come from different sources in a very simple way through our SQL queries. We optimized our work, made it more efficient and fluid, we also made graphs and tables where we visualize the analyzes. In general, we track, plan, record and review data of all kinds thanks to this great platform.

Its interface allows you to navigate without problems.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

Our experience has been pleasant and we are satisfied with the results. However, the platform has some flaws in its interface that are minimal but should still be improved, so that the user has better performance.

**Recommendations to others considering Mode:**

It is suitable for any company that needs daily data analysis. You will be able to consult data of all levels, visualize them through tables and graphs, even create Python notebooks to have a more detailed analysis. You will be able to make the best decisions based on the information and analysis provided to meet your objectives, this gives you the opportunity to establish work flow and significant time savings. Compared to other platforms this is very complete, we recommend it.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company uses mode to receive daily or weekly information to make the best decisions based on data at all levels. We can also perform analysis to Slack for internal analysis. Our team also creates graphs with the results of the SQL queries. It has provided an optimization to the metrics and thus our administration has remained more organized and stable. We save valuable time that we channel into other areas and the workflow in our team is constant.

  ### 33. Mode helps us easily and quickly visualize our company metrics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Mode?**

The Explore feature is now my favorite part of Mode

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

Sometimes data sets could use custom visualizations that Mode doesn't support

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Identifying baselines and progress to a wide variety of company and customers operations

  ### 34. Mode Analytics - Simple to Use but lacking certain features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven M. | Growth Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

Mode is very easy to use - it is just base SQL with little to no learning curve. For users who understand CSS / HTML you can use those skills to build much more complex visualization systems for data

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

For basic data visualization the options are quite limited. You cannot easily change legend color without either re-writing your SQL code or using HTML. You cannot change the x / y axis of the data without advanced manipulations. The python & R library that Mode have built in are fairly buggy.

**Recommendations to others considering Mode:**

1. Fix the R & Python library addon. The idea is great for lightweight analytics & statistical use, but I often find myself going to Jupyter notebooks.

2. Make more simple data visualization options available like changing legend color & texts instead of having to either re-write the SQL or playing with the HTML

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data visualization and reporting. Benefits are that it is easy to share and very straightforward to learn.

  ### 35. Effective tool with some bugs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel S. | Operations Strategy Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

This is a helpful SQL client with basic visualization tools – I'm able to quickly tell a story with data without taking the extra step of throwing things into Excel. It's also helpful to easily provide telemetry to other members of the company.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

I've encountered several instances where queries inexplicably time out, often in larger dashboards. There is also some visualization functionality that exists in Google Sheets that would be great to have in Mode. The new pagination also makes it inconvenient to quickly copy results for others.

**Recommendations to others considering Mode:**

I'm less experienced in this field so I'm not as intimately familiar with other competitors – however, I've had an overall good experience with Mode.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm giving Ops leadership visibility into metrics, trends, specific use cases, etc. in a way that's sustainable and low maintenance. It's easy to share data finds within the company.

  ### 36. Nice Tool to get collaborative data platform combining SQL, R, Python, and visual analytics.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Mode?**

The power of combining SQL, R, Python, and visual analytics in one place to create a collaborative data platform is awesome.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

Could be more intuitive and responsive with lot more collaboration possibilities like in cloud.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Place to showing visualisations of the data collaborating with teams across.

  ### 37. Everyday Mode User

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

I like most its interface. It has a very nice visualization and charts. You can also save reports for a later review or just repopulate them if you need them again. This eases the job a lot for reporting analysts as they need to build reports only once and share them with the report requesters. It can also be integrated with other apps such as Slack which I've never used.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

There's a need to log in often as it doesn't remember you. It also needs quite a lot of time to populate some of the reports, especially if they contain visuals and charts. You can't generate reports without having some training on how to build them so it requires you to have advanced reporting skills unless there's appointed person in your company to do that.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps me with my day to day work.

  ### 38. Ops

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Supermarkets | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Mode?**

I like the analytics and the ease of using the reports

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

The system is very slow at times and shuts down from time to time

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

slow to load

  ### 39. Data Science all in one

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleksandar M. | Training And Development Officer, Food & Beverages, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

Mode Analytics is such a great data science tool. One of the best perks it offers is Collaboration, you can easily share and collaborate on the same project. It is a web-based platform that supports SQL, Python, and R, so it is an all around Data Science tool.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

If a report od a dashboard has many queries, they become slow and you have to wait a long time till the run time.

**Recommendations to others considering Mode:**

Mode Analytics is a great tool for Data Analytics and Data Visualisation with great collaboration capabilities.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mostly use Mode Analytics for building team reports and dashboards, that can be easily used by a non Data Science person. As a big data science team, we work together (collaborate) on the same projects, and Mode comes really handy in those situations.

  ### 40. Mode is my favorite tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Mode?**

I like to have the ability to query data, do quick visualizations, and access a notebook, all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

I wish I had control of who can edit my work.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mode to create easy-to-digest analyses and deep dives for my stakeholders.

  ### 41. Mode is an easy to use tool for beginners in data visualization.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

I like that Mode is simple and only offers a few features so it's easy for people to learn how to use, even if they've never used a data visualization tool.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

Paramaters are a bit challenging to learn at first, row count limitations, not able to upload data like you can with Tableau.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating dynamic dashboards for all stakeholders and for data owners in different parts of the business. It allows people to answer their own questions and feel closer to the data without having to write SQL or bug me (the data analyst) with little ad hoc questions.

  ### 42. Simple, quick, collaborative

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hank T. | Vice President of Growth, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

The most helpful attributes of mode:
- easy to share and access reports
- easy to see, understand, and tinker with the query and visualization

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

It can be unclear how to find things that others have made.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple reporting that can be shared with people who don't have direct access to the operational platforms (e.g. I can give executives and stakeholders reports of Salesforce data without giving them licenses).

  ### 43. High quality resource for learning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yana S. | Data Scientist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

Basic tutorials are extensive, and not primitive. Very good option if you want to revise something quickly and effectively. I loved analytics training in the end of SQL tutorial.
Mode is also very user-friendly. Besides tutorials it is a great platform to use.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

I would like to have more tutorials about analytics! Found nothing else to dislike

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I revised SQL.
It is free to use and there are no advertisements! Not primitive like others tutorials. Very easy to use with good databases which can be used for training.

  ### 44. Excellent tool for data-driven businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Herman S. | Integrations Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

The ease of the interface and accessibility. Mode has been a great opportunity for me to play around with and learn SQL.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

The cost is quite high for casual users. We have a number of people who only need to occasionally access the tool and/or make slight alterations to the queries.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mode has been an exceptional tool for helping us make business decisions based on data - we'd be flying blind without it!

  ### 45. Excellent tool for determining customer use, or lack of.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

I enjoy the straight-up, easy-to-understand results of my searches in Mode. With a bit of information, I'm able to determine use, or lack of, by the customers I am servicing. This is helpful for all parties, and the information is non-invasive.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

More information when there is a lack of information. Sometimes it's hard to tell if there's an error or just no information to obtain.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Determining customer use and patterns. Determining if they are signed in to their account and using it, or if it''s unused. This is beneficial in determining if a customer is truly using the account as they say they are.

  ### 46. Mode Analytics is awesome!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach S. | Enterprise Account Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

I love how easy it is to dig deeper into the metrics our team needs!

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

I wish the UI was a little cleaner and allowed for easier navigation

**Recommendations to others considering Mode:**

I would absolutely recommend any sales team looking to learn more about their company metrics to implement Mode into their system.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to track all the company metrics down to team by team in each market is amazing

  ### 47. Mode is Perfect for Technical Users to Automate Requests from Non-Technical Users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

Mode is easy to provide data to teammates who lack SQL (or any technical background). A lot of requests from staff have been automated in Mode.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

The SQL functionality is somewhat 'limited' and does not allow the same amount of granularity as can be done with SMS. To get the most out of Mode, it requires a dedicated user.

**Recommendations to others considering Mode:**

Consider free options.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing staff across the ORG with meaningful data they use in their day to day operations. Our call lines can find data for a client on a phone call using a list of reports.

Automating planning reports.

  ### 48. Efficient and simple to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastian O. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Mode?**

Makes day by day job easier and helps with a lot of daily taks

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

the application sometimes does not work properly i don't know if it is dues to it being bad or due to tu infrastructure.

**Recommendations to others considering Mode:**

I don't know

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting issue based on sales data

  ### 49. Great tool for pulling and visualizing data

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Mode?**

Easy visualization tools without having to throw things into Google Sheets or Excel

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

Visualization lacks deep customization features, making Mode graphs less of a one-stop-shop for presentation-worthy visuals.

**Recommendations to others considering Mode:**

Sounds like it was a cost-effective decision for our team to make while giving us the tools we needed to succeed.

**What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're solving the problem of data visibility with Mode – we've sharpened our KPIs and improved our telemetry over the course of the past year!

  ### 50. A great tool for big data analysis without much system drain

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2019

The ability to quickly visualize my data in a appealing and easy to understand manner is just awesome.

**What do you dislike about Mode?**

Need more and better tutorials for new comers.

Have a thorough understanding of the power of mode before you stop considering it as an option

we analyze data trends to manage critical performance of 1000+ associates working on a critical system.
