**What do you like best about Modal?**

Best thing about Modal is you don't need to learn a new configuration language. If u want a function to run on a huge  cloud GPU with 120GB of RAM, you just need to add a small function above it. It will be handled.

**What do you dislike about Modal?**

As per me, it's engineering stack is mainly created on javascript or typescript or Go but not python.

**What problems is Modal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For heavy python/AI work loads thqt need to run on hundreds of GPU right now but we don't want to pay for those GPUs when job is done so Modal is chosen.

Zero infrastructure to manage, move from local → cloud in a few minutes

Strong dependency on Python, Risk of vendor lock-in

**What problems is Modal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The complexity and slowness of the infrastructure, especially for AI and data projects.
