Campaigns can be given start and end dates and held as drafts, made active, paused or marked complete, so several rounds of fieldwork run alongside each other without interfering. Agents collect on Android or iOS using the MAPOG Contributor app, capturing answers, GPS-tagged photographs and precise locations both online and offline, syncing automatically once a connection returns. Because the app holds every record on the device until it finds a signal, teams keep working in remote sites, basements and low-coverage areas without losing data or re-entering anything at the end of the day. Supervisors track agents live on a map, follow campaign progress and acceptance rates, and review every submission before approving or rejecting it. Records awaiting a decision sit in a pending-review queue, so problems are caught before they enter the dataset instead of surfacing weeks later during analysis. Roles and permissions separate what supervisors can do from what field agents can, and reports download at any point in a campaign. Collected data is layered, filtered and analysed inside the wider MAPOG platform, so nothing needs exporting to a separate GIS tool. The same workspace holds imported CSV and Excel datasets, custom base maps built by geo-referencing your own site plans, and task management, which means field results can be compared against existing records the moment they arrive.
