Excellent tool for any type of connection, offers a variety of types of connections, ssh, telnet, rdp, vnc, ftp, sftp, serial, among the most used. In my case, I use ssh, rdp and vnc more frequently. Easy to use, a security level is excellent since I can make a file transfer quickly from windows to linux without the need of another tool. Reminded of credentials, it is last for fast connections, however, only for computers of use for a person for safety issues. Games in the free version, for work recreation. Useful tools such as port and IP scanning, screen division to view four connections at the same time. Changes at the interface or configuration level for the type of connection you need. Easy to use. This tool allows me to access my equipment both by remote secure SSH and by console, to validate internal configurations of computers and servers. some of the things that I do not like Moba is that it does not store the previous configurations that were made with the equipment, to keep track of which configurations were made on the computers. SFTP can be more better , also Multiwindow operation has some bug it seems when working in Multiwindow mode and if you copy something it will come in same format so a sine line will be divided into multiple which cause some trouble . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best feature for us is that the ssh client and X server are built into one app. Previously, we had to instruct users how to start the X server first, then start ssh and tunnel X through it. MobaXTerm have been turn on a "must" to my daily basis working tasks.

It allows you to store (and an easy management) all my ssh, RDP, sFTP, Telnet and another much types of connections and its details (user, password, port, ssh key, connection name, etc.)

Although, the main functions are the above mention, Moba give other features like:

- Macros recording

- Running servers on your host (HTTP, TFTP, NFS, Cron, VNC...)

- Packages Manager (MobApt)

- Multi execution (run a command on all opened sessions)

- Hardware devices inspector

- SSH tunnels (port forwarding)

- Export/Import sessions option

- Customizations like logo and default settings (Professional version)

And much more.

A very good point in Moba favor is that you can use it Free (Home Edition), obviously there are several limitations:

- Max. 12 sessions

- Max. 2 SSH tunnels

- Max. 4 macros

- Max. 6 mins for Tftp, Nfs and Cron

The last but not the least, the Professional version gives you the option to Lifetime use and 12 months of professional support (the support by email is great) and no limitations of use/features.

Obviously, a low price would be great, but for me is a very good price taking into account the possibilities which offer you.

This relatively lightweight, but extremely powerful remote computing tool is a fantastic piece of software, even with it's free edition! It is absolutely delightful to use for SSH'ing into your remote environments and supports a bevy of additional features such as embedding your remote apps on your Windows desktop via X server, having multiple SSH tunnels open, telnetting, and more (I doubt one user makes use of all the available features)! It would be nice if Mobatek installed some themes into the software. Even though it's relatively easy to configure different styles/colors, giving some popular choices would've been appreciated.
