Mobaxterm stands out from its peers as a SSH client as well as provides functionality for a GUI SFTP file manager for the session. It is highly customizable with regards to themes and fonts. The least helpful feature about Mobaxterm is it's SFTP file manager when you use it to transfer big files, it gets stuck and crashes sometimes. The handling of large files can be improved. Mobaxterm is good terminal emulator, we can get all important remote networking tools in one single tool like it has SSH,RDP,FTP etc, local terminal can be started in one click, user friendly interface, sessions data can be saved easily, we can get existing used sessions. multiple session can be opened, on one single click new session can be started, color themes can be changed, like dark, normal and deep.we can download big files from server easily. used commands and session history can be stored in word format file and can be downloaded easily. saving macro is best feature. What do you dislike about MobaXTerm? the features of mobaxterm which i dislike are sometimes it works very slow, one of the time when multiple tabs are open it sometimes gets crashed and app tool is closed , which causes all session searched data loss, most of the time due to more sessions opened, tool become unresponsive which causes issue, takes too long for first time starting of application, in some cases earlier searched cant be seen in current opened session which are searched earlier. What problems is MobaXTerm solving and how is that benefiting you? mobaxterm have numbers of benefits, we can connect multiple servers very fast, we can do ssh to linux server even using windows OS. due to this business performance gets increased easily, as compared it has great features, we can search and can run long running unix and linux commands which takes too long to give output, but in mobaxterm they can be run easily, we can get result even if command takes too long. Pretty easy to use for connecting to many types of systems. WSL2, SSH, RDP are the ones I use every day. SFTP from within a session is really handy as well. Going from the free version to the paid version meant a complete reinstall. That was frustrating. The "run script at login" is nice, but there doesn't seem to be a way to not kill the connection when that script finishes. So, it's less helpful in setting up your session like I wanted. I connect to dozens of systems on a regular basis for many different reasons. This simplifies all of the connection parts so I can just do my job.
