"Clear User Insights with Easy HubSpot Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

It makes it to understand user behaviour and product usage. The funnel dashboard and event tracking help teams quickly see what users are doing. Also the integrations with HubSpot is very easy to setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

The initial setup and event tracking structure can feel a bit complex at first. If events or properties are not planned properly, reporting can become confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mixpanel is a very helpful tool in my day to day job."
5/5
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

Mixpanel provides very detailed insight into user behavior. I can identify the customer's mobile device make and model, phone number, and movement in the Greenlight app. Extremely helpful in identifying which user processed a funding transfer, and updated features in-app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

The user's mobile device is listed as mobile device codes types a.k.a. machine ids (e.g. `iPhone1,1`, `Watch1,1`, SM-S928U, etc.). Instead of including the iPhone as iPhone 15, 3: iPhone 14 Pro Max or SM-S928U: Galaxy S24 Ultra. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Fast Event-Based Insights with Clear Funnels and Segmentation"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

What I like most about Mixpanel is how clearly it shows user activity. I can see what users are doing step by step, like where they click, where they stop, and what features they actually use. It helps me understand real behavior instead of guessing. I also like that once things are set up, the dashboard updates on its own, so I don't need to check data manually again and again. The charts are easy to read even for someone who is not a data expert. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

One thing I don't like is that it takes time to understand everything at the start. The setup can feel confusing, especially when tracking events for the first time. Some features are hidden inside menus, so it's not obvious where to click. Also, the pricing can feel high when the data grows, which makes you think twice before tracking too many events. "Great Charts and Fast UI, but AI Dashboards Need Auto-Save"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

I can easily modify charts and graphs to see what I need to find. The UI was easy to navigate and the data loaded quickly. I can't comment on pricing or integrations, or support.

The AI was good — but could be better. It's nice to be able to ask for a specific graph using plain language. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

When creating a dashboard using the AI tool, it does not save automatically and if you click anywhere the chart is abandoned—without warning. This happened to me multiple times this week and I audibly screamed each time it happened. It was a very frustrating experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear Event-Based Analytics with Powerful, Intuitive Funnel Analysis"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

Mixpanel stands out for its clear, event-based analytics and very strong funnel analysis. Funnels are easy to build, compare, and explore, and switching between views (e.g. funnel steps, conversion rates over time) is fast and intuitive. Event tracking has been stable since 2023, and metrics are consistently defined across analyses and experiments, which makes results easy to compare and trust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

Complex analyses and more advanced A/B test setups can be difficult to implement, and they don’t scale well without significant ongoing effort. The insights you can get are largely limited to the data you send through events, which makes it harder to do deeper or more flexible analysis later. On top of that, some key experiment features are only available on the Enterprise plan, which reduces accessibility and can drive up costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customizable UI/UX, Robust Integrations, and Helpful Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

The upsides to Mixpanel are the customisation and the UI/UX. Both of these give me the ability to focus on the specific data I need to see. I’ve also found the help team to be very good on the occasions I’ve needed to reach out. The integrations are robust too, and they allow me to connect with other platforms such as Braze and Klaviyo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

The UI now feels a bit outdated., but on the whole it is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tag-Level Insights That Make User Behavior Easy to Understand"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

I really love how I can select a single tag or event, and it tells me so much about what users are doing. As a designer, its confusing to digest what the devs are taging and this helps me better reverse engineer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

I'm not sure if this is anything to do on your end but at first using it as a designer was super confusing. The tutorials online seemed to be geared not towards designers and even till this day, i still find it difficult but this is way better than the other platforms like Adobe Analytics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Search Bar, But Overall Experience Needs Improvement"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

The search bar quickly helps me find any graphs, charts, or datapoints related to a specific event. This helps speed up the process of finding every piece of data I need when making decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

There are still some features found in Amplitude that simplify the process of analyzing data, especially when looking at an individual person's journey. I would love to be able to see all the properties of a user without repeatedly opening each individual event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear, Flexible User Behavior Insights Beyond Page Views"
4/5
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

Mixplanel really shined when it comes to understanding how users actually interact with a product. What i like best is how easy it makes tracking user behavior beyond just page views. You can clearly see what users are doing, where they drop off, and which features are actually being used. The reports are flexible and detailed, but still easy to understand, even if you are not a data expert. Being able to slice data by events, cohorts and funnels helps make better product decisions instead of relying on assumptions. Overall, it turns raw data into clear insights that are actually useful for improving the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

Mixplanel can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially if you are new to product analytics. There are a lot of features and options. so it takes some time to understand how to set up events properly and get the most out of the platform. Another downside is pricing. As data volume grows, costs can increase quickly, which can be challenging for smaller teams or early stage products. While the dashboards are powerful, some advanced insights still require a learning curve to intercept correctly it is very capable, but no always beginner friendly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
