"Bad support + corrupt tracking pixel"
0/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

The data it provides is helpful. On the surface, what it does it valuable. I have no qualms with the concept of their product. My issues are in the execution of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

1. The MixMax tracking pixel has a destroyed domain reputation which in turn blocked our emails from recipients using Barracuda. Pretty big deal.

2. Their support is horrible. I'm assuming they're running a lean team, but this is beyond the worst I've seen. The chat isn't answered. There is a bot, but they will EMAIL YOU when they respond to your chat. Why even have a chat at that point? The support email address is buried (as many SaaS companies are deciding to do). Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thank you for sharing this feedback — and I'm sorry for the frustration you experienced. You're right that the tracking pixel domain reputation issue was a serious problem, and I understand how disruptive that must have been mid-contract signing.

Since your review, we've resolved the underlying domain reputation issue that was causing emails to be blocked by services like Barracuda. We've also made improvements to our support experience to ensure faster, more responsive communication.

If you're open to giving Mixmax another look, we'd love to make it right. Feel free to reach out to us directly at support@mixmax.com.

"A Business Game Changer!"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

The templates and sequences are absolutely fantastic! I do project management and when I assign new projects to staff, I've setup a sequence that basically does my job for me and does automatic check-ins. I make deliveries to clients - all via templates and sequences too. Mixmax quite genuinely saves me at least 20 hours per week! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

The only thing that is a shame is that it's just a Google Chrome extension. If it was its own mailing app and could be used cross-platform or on mobile that would be awesome. Other than that, it's great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MixMax supercharged my global sales — from Novi Sad to Saudi Arabia"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

Email Tracking

I know exactly when a client opened or clicked — super helpful for international sales across time zones.

Sequences (Follow-ups)

I can set polite, automated follow-ups that feel personal. Saves me from forgetting or manually chasing leads.

Email Templates

Great for reusing offers, introductions, and pricing messages — especially when selling the same product in multiple markets.

Polls + Meeting Scheduler

I love embedding a poll like:

“Does this budget work for you?” with options like “Nailed it” 😄

Or inserting a calendar link right into Gmail.

Works Inside Gmail

No switching tabs or logging into a separate CRM just to send smart emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

UI Can Feel Overloaded

Some parts (like the sequence builder or rules) feel cluttered or unintuitive at first.

Pricing for Small Teams

It’s not the cheapest tool if you're a solo consultant or just starting. Worth it long-term, but hurts a bit upfront.

No Native Mobile App

Sometimes I want to check sequences or schedule from my phone, but mobile support is limited.

Occasional Gmail Sync Glitches

Rare, but sometimes Gmail lags when MixMax loads — especially in heavy inboxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Can't live without Mixmax!!"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

My favorite Mixmax features are Email Templates (using for custom email signatures and commonly used messages), Reminders to bring emails back so I can follow-up, and Send Later so I can work incognito at night to catch up without people knowing I am working after hours. I started using Mixmax before Gmail had their snooze and send later features and even though they have the same features, I am still loyal to Mixmax. I literally cannot live without Mixmax in my real estate business! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

If I have scheduled an email to Send Later and then have to make edits, I used to be able to make those changes within the Outbox portion of Mixmax. Now I have to reopen it as a Draft in my Gmail inbox and then reschedule it. Mixmax also interferes with another Chrome extension I'd like to use (Text Blaze). "Provides excellent value, seamlessly"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

The way it operates seamlessly with my email, providing features and value add that is quickly accessible and brought forward. In particular, I love the email tracking of receipt/read, and I use the templates to quickly create best practice email bodies. I haven't checked out the AI yet but Id imagine if they stay true to design it will be highly complementary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I've not experienced much downside - I suppose there are many other features Im not using and it would be great to have an interactive way to learn and apply them for even greater productivity (but thats mostly my fault). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A recruiter's best friend"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

Mixmax has saved me so much time with both templates and sequences. My favorite part is that I'm able to see who's seen my email and that makes it way easier to know if someone is actively opening my emails or if they're just ghosting me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

Some tutorials are hard to find. I've been wanting to avoid seeing attachment previous every time I attach a new document to an email. I haven't found a way to stop this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mixmax is great for email"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I like that I can see when people read my emails so I know they have seen them. I like the templates and creating them is simple. It makes my life much much easier as I use templates every day for various different tasks.

Simple to set up. Easy to share your templates with others too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

Mixmax does exactly what I want it to do. I probably don't know how to use most of the functions but for what I use it for it is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
