The data it provides is helpful. On the surface, what it does it valuable. I have no qualms with the concept of their product. My issues are in the execution of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The MixMax tracking pixel has a destroyed domain reputation which in turn blocked our emails from recipients using Barracuda. Pretty big deal.
2. Their support is horrible. I'm assuming they're running a lean team, but this is beyond the worst I've seen. The chat isn't answered. There is a bot, but they will EMAIL YOU when they respond to your chat. Why even have a chat at that point? The support email address is buried (as many SaaS companies are deciding to do). Thank you for sharing this feedback — and I'm sorry for the frustration you experienced. You're right that the tracking pixel domain reputation issue was a serious problem, and I understand how disruptive that must have been mid-contract signing.
Since your review, we've resolved the underlying domain reputation issue that was causing emails to be blocked by services like Barracuda. We've also made improvements to our support experience to ensure faster, more responsive communication.
If you're open to giving Mixmax another look, we'd love to make it right. Feel free to reach out to us directly at support@mixmax.com.
