"Low-Lift Email Campaigns - Could Have More Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I use Mixmax for marketing outreach like newsletters. It helps partially automate marketing email campaigns, send out to large audiences, and provides insight into engagement. I find it easy to navigate, user-friendly, and no frills. The initial setup was very straightforward, I'd rate it about 9/10 for ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I wish I didn't have to upgrade to get more capabilities. I would like a formal drip campaigns for groups to go through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hey Natasha, thanks for this review!

Glad Mixmax has been a low-lift way for you to run newsletter-style outreach at scale, get engagement insight, and stay in a simple, no-frills workflow. Also appreciate the callout that setup was straightforward.

On the upgrade feedback and your request for more formal drip campaigns for groups: totally fair. Mixmax is built primarily around sales outreach workflows (including sequences), but we hear the need for a more “group-based” drip experience that feels purpose-built for marketing-style cohorts. If you’re open to sharing what “formal drip” means in your case (e.g., timed content series, branching based on engagement, enrollment rules, suppression rules), that context helps us prioritize improvements and point you to the best current workaround.

Cheers,

Nate, Mixmax

Been using it for a while and still happy with the ability to have and save Templates. The reporting for when people are opening messages is fantastic. And integrating the calendar is very useful and appreciated. Many pricing models that suit different needs too is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Email Tracking Tool for Sales and Marketing Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

Mixmax is an incredibly useful tool for email tracking and sales prospection. Even the freemium version provides valuable functionality that helps monitor email delivery and engagement. The paid version offers advanced features including sophisticated notification systems and historical tracking capabilities that allow you to go back in time and analyze email performance. The real strength lies in being able to see whether your recipient has actually read your email, which enables fine-tuned adjustment of your prospecting strategy. This level of insight saves time for everyone involved by helping you understand engagement patterns and optimize follow-up timing. It's particularly valuable for sales teams who need to know when prospects are engaging with their outreach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

The main limitation I've encountered is with VPN users - when recipients use VPN services, the location tracking becomes unreliable and you can't accurately determine where someone is reading their email from. This can limit the geographical insights that would otherwise be useful for timing and personalization strategies. While this doesn't affect the core read tracking functionality, it does reduce some of the contextual information that could be valuable for sales intelligence. "Makes Outreach and Booking Calls So Easy!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

Keeps me on top of things, and helps me do outreach and book calls so smoothly with my clients and prospects Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

Inability to integrate on mobile (hopefully this feature gets launched soon!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hey Naya,

Love hearing Mixmax is helping you stay organized and keep outreach + follow-ups moving, and that booking meetings feels smooth with clients and prospects.

On mobile integration: totally hear you. Being able to handle outreach and scheduling when you’re away from your desk matters, and we appreciate the nudge here. While Mixmax is primarily a Gmail desktop workflow today, feedback like this helps us prioritize where the mobile experience should go next.

Thanks for taking the time to share this.

"Effortless Email Management with Powerful Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I like Mixmax Reminders, which helps in easily scheduling reminders and prevents emails from getting overlooked. The Sequences for email blasts and automation are valuable as I can quickly send email blasts to a large or targeted audience. The initial setup was very easy, which is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I wish there was an iOS app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hey Jerry, thanks for the review!

Great to hear Mixmax Reminders are helping you stay on top of follow-ups so emails don’t get overlooked, and that Sequences make it easy to send targeted blasts and automate outreach. Also glad setup was quick.

On the iOS app request: understood. A mobile experience is important when you’re triaging and staying responsive on the go. While Mixmax is primarily built around Gmail on desktop today, feedback like this is helpful signal for where customers want us to expand.

Thanks again

"Reliable Email Marketing Add-on for Gmail"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I do like the AI assistant features and drafting for sequences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I'm not a big fan of "Maxine" the bot that replies to emails, but it is also good to know the message was received and is being worked on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hey, thanks for writing this out!

Glad you’re getting value from the AI assistant when drafting sequences, and that Mixmax is helping your team reach more people in less time while keeping tracking and visibility clear across individual reps and the whole group throughout the day.

Appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback.

"I've been using MixMax for years and love it!!"

What do you like best about Mixmax?

Plus the ability to know if someone has opened an email or clicked a link. Game changing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

Would love to have a sequence end with a notification of they haven't responded to the last email in the sequence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hey Fred,

Thanks for the review. Really glad open + click tracking has been a game changer for you, especially for staying on top of follow-ups without constantly revisiting old threads to check what happened.

On your request to have a sequence end with a notification if they haven’t responded to the last email: that’s a great, concrete workflow need. A “last-step no-reply” alert would make it easier to catch stalled conversations right when a sequence finishes. Appreciate you calling it out—feedback like this is exactly what helps us prioritize improvements.

"Intuitive, painless, and effective"
4/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

Mixmax continues to be an excellent and straightforward tool for our organization. Beyond the easy adoption and highly responsive support, I’ve been particularly impressed with how fast and intuitive it is to configure sequences. Being able to seamlessly assign them to pre-built audiences has significantly streamlined our SDR team’s workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

While the tool is great for execution, the reporting options for email sequences are still quite limited. Expanding the depth and customization of these analytics would be the most significant improvement for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hey, thanks for sharing your feedback!

Really glad Mixmax has been intuitive to adopt and that support has been responsive. Also great to hear sequences have been fast to configure and that assigning them to pre-built audiences is streamlining your SDR workflow.

On reporting for sequences: completely fair. Execution is only half the battle, and teams like yours need deeper, more customizable analytics to understand what’s working and where to iterate. If you’re open to sharing what you most want to customize (step-level performance, cohort/audience comparisons, reply and meeting outcomes, rep vs. team rollups, filters by persona/segment, etc.), that detail helps us prioritize improvements in the right direction.

"Easy Email Blast Tracking with Clear Sequence Progress"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

Easy to track the different email blasts I'm sending and update the emails as I got. Love that it'll flag it an email has already been used within the sequence and I can see the progress each email has made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

No dislikes, it's been a great experience so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks for the review :)

Really glad Mixmax is making it easy to run and track email blasts at volume, especially being able to see sequence progress and get flagged when an email has already been used. That kind of visibility is exactly what helps teams stay organized while moving fast.

Appreciate you taking the time to share this, and we’re happy it’s been a great experience so far.

"Easy to Use, Effective at Getting Replies"
4/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

It is so easy to send email sequences to leads after our call to present the proposals that we send out. MixMax is also great at giving notifications about who is reading my emails and how many times they are viewing them. It is easy to use, easy to integrate with the Gmail, and easy to implement different sequences for different clients. The team and I use MixMax multiple times a day, every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

The one downside is that our MixMax automations of multiple emails may be making clients feel like it is spam. Our MixMax server was showing up as malicious to some clients with third-party security services, but nothing we are sending is spam and the volume of emails being sent out per sequence is low at 3-4 emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks for the kind words — glad to hear Mixmax is helping your team stay on top of proposals and follow-ups!

Regarding the deliverability issue you mentioned — we've since made changes under the hood that resolved the technical factors causing Mixmax-sent emails to get flagged by third-party security services. That shouldn't be an issue going forward.

Thanks for sticking with us, and don't hesitate to reach out if anything else comes up.
