"Streamlined Email Outreach with Room for Reliability Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I loved how I could edit follow-up emails one by one, allowing me to change the follow-up depending on the different personas. I also liked how easy the tracker was for email count, which helped me figure out my day better knowing I had 175 emails going on their own. The initial setup was pretty seamless too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I don't like how often it would go down and not work. It was somewhat often and I couldn't send emails when that was the case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hey, thanks for the review!

Really glad Mixmax helped you tailor follow-ups by persona (editing steps one by one) and that the email count/tracker made it easier to plan your day, especially with 175 emails running automatically. Also happy the initial setup was seamless.

On reliability: I hear you, and that’s not the experience we want. When Mixmax goes down and blocks you from sending, it directly hurts your workflow. If you can share roughly when this happened (date range/time zone) and whether it was compose/sending, the extension, or sequences specifically, our team can investigate and make sure the underlying issue is addressed.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this feedback.

Nate, Mixmax

"Effortless Email Management with Intuitive Mixmax"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I like that Mixmax is super easy to learn and I didn't need any training on it. I appreciate that you can always update your emails at any time, and it gives you suggestions and different plugins to get more interaction from clients. The plugins help with email interaction and allow tracking who clicks, giving people a call to action, all from your emails. Additionally, the interface is very easy to understand and you don't need much training to figure out what to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I wish I could change the subject line of a chain email. I'm not sure how to do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks for the review, Chloe!

Really glad Mixmax has been easy to pick up without training, and that you’re getting value from being able to update emails, add plugins/CTAs, and track clicks so you can drive more interaction from clients. Also great to hear it’s helping you efficiently reach your database for events and projects.

"Mixmax: Streamlines Outbound Campaigns with Ease"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I think Mixmax is really easy to use once you get it set up. It's very user-friendly and dynamic. I really like the read rates and open rates it gives me, and the statistics are helpful. They allow me to understand the ROI based on what I'm sending out and what we're investing into Mixmax. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I do wish that the Outlook features were a little bit better or dynamic. It seems to work best with Gmail. Unfortunately, we use Outlook, so it does take a while sometimes to get things like signatures and formatting options in place where you need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks for this, Zacchary!

Glad Mixmax is helping you streamline outbound once it’s set up, and that read/open rates and stats are giving you a clearer view of ROI on what you’re sending and what you’re investing in the tool. Also great to hear it’s enabling consistent volume (500–1000 emails/week) so you can reach prospects you’d miss with calls alone.

On Outlook: totally fair feedback. Mixmax tends to feel most seamless in Gmail, and we know Outlook users can run into extra friction around signatures and formatting. If you’re open to it, sharing what’s been most time-consuming (signature behavior, formatting consistency, editor quirks, etc.) would help us prioritize improvements and point you to any best-practice setup that reduces that initial overhead.

Thanks again!

"Powerful All-in-One Sales Communications Platform with Excellent Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

It's a great all-in-one platform for managing and directing all facets of communications management in relation to sales efforts. Excellent tool for keeping track of contact interactions, crafting outreach campaigns and automating messaging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

Some of the UI could be a little clearer and some of the details for how to use certain aspects of the solution could be easier to find. However, they do have a robust support portal with helpful articles that do assist in resolving many of these potential types of issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hi! Thanks for the review. Great to hear Mixmax is helping you manage outreach, automate drip campaigns, and streamline meeting scheduling.

We hear you on the UI and discoverability of certain features. We’re continuing to make the product clearer and improve how our help content is surfaced so it’s easier to find what you need in the moment. "Excellent product but I wish they would stop changing it without telling us!"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

Mixmax adds many new features that are useful, and some that are not. Sadly, they turn on new features for everyone as they are released and do not always tell you, such as skipping US holidays and mixmax co pilot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

Do not automatically turn on new features, and if you so, pre-warn us so we can turn them off on release day Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hey Emma, thanks for taking the time to write this.

I’m glad Mixmax is saving you time and helping with deliverability, shared visibility, and automated follow-ups. And I hear you on the frustration when new features get enabled without clear notice. Even when the feature is helpful (like holiday-aware sending), surprises in a workflow tool can feel disruptive.

Your feedback is clear: if a new capability is going to be turned on by default, you want a heads-up and an easy way to disable it on day one. We appreciate you calling this out, and we’ll keep improving how we communicate product changes and how much control admins and users have over feature rollouts.

Cheers,

Nate, Mixmax

"Smart Email Tracking and Automation That Improves Team Coordination"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

In addition to email open and link tracking, I’ve found the newer automation and AI-assisted features especially helpful. The meeting scheduling links directly in email reduce back-and-forth coordination. I also like the AI send-time optimization and workflow automation rules that help prioritize follow-ups and improve response rates without adding extra manual work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

Some engagement notifications can feel a bit noisy when working across large stakeholder groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks for updating your review and for sharing your experience with Mixmax. We’re glad to hear the combination of email tracking, scheduling links, automation, and AI-assisted features has been helping your team reduce manual work, improve coordination, and stay on top of follow-ups more effectively. It’s especially great to know these features are helping you communicate more confidently across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

We also appreciate your feedback about engagement notifications feeling noisy at times when working across larger stakeholder groups. That’s helpful input, and it highlights how important it is for alerts to feel useful without becoming distracting.

Thank you again for your review and for being a Mixmax customer! :)

"Still Perfect modern way to mail"

What do you like best about Mixmax?

I don't use that much new feature. Basic package is already fine to me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

Sync with Google contacts, I have all people ever mailed into the list and I can't clean it, the mixmax option is blocked Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hey Julien, thanks for the review! Glad the core Mixmax experience is already doing what you need, especially for saving time preparing for conferences and running webinar outreach, and for keeping you alerted to activity so you can revive conversations with better timing.

On Google Contacts sync and the list cleanup being blocked: that sounds frustrating, and it shouldn’t feel like you’re stuck with an unmanageable list. If you can share a bit more about where you’re seeing the “blocked” option (and ideally a screenshot), support can help confirm what’s happening and walk you through the best way to clean or control the synced contacts in your setup.

What I like the most is the acknowledgement of reading with the place and date of the opening of the mail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

Nothing, I love all of Mixmax. Just, it's a pity that it's not available outside the browser addon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thank you, Christophe, for updating your review and for sharing your experience with Mixmax. We’re glad to hear the email read receipt details, including open time and location, have been especially valuable for you. It’s great to know those insights are helping you confirm recipient engagement and give you more confidence in your follow-up process.

We also appreciate your feedback about availability beyond the browser extension. Convenience and flexibility matter, and comments like this help us better understand how customers want to use Mixmax in their day-to-day work.

"Insightful, Easy to Use, and Highly Recommended"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I have found Mixmax incredibly valuable for gaining insight into the activity around my emails. The platform's ability to show who has opened my emails and when they were viewed helps me strategically plan my next actions. This insight is crucial for optimizing my communication and enhancing workflow efficiency. Setting up Mixmax was straightforward, and although there was initially a learning curve with campaign sequences, the helpful chat support made it easy to overcome. As a solo user in a small team, I appreciate the potential for growth with Mixmax, anticipating how more template access will be beneficial as our team expands. The integration possibilities with tools like Slack and CRM systems are promising for future scalability. Overall, Mixmax suits my needs better than other platforms I have tried, such as Yesware and more robust CRMs with campaign capabilities, and I would highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I initially faced a learning curve with the campaign sequences in Mixmax. While I eventually resolved it with the help of chat support, it was a bit challenging at first. Additionally, I wish Mixmax had CRM capabilities, which would make the tool even more versatile for my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hi Aimee, thanks for such a detailed review.

I’m really glad Mixmax has been valuable for tracking email engagement (who opened, when) and helping you time your next steps. It’s also great to hear setup was straightforward, and that our chat support helped you get through the initial learning curve with sequences.

On that note, we hear you on sequences feeling a bit challenging at first. We’re continuing to improve onboarding and in-product guidance so that core workflows like sequences feel more intuitive without needing a support assist.

And on CRM: totally fair request. Mixmax is designed to work alongside CRMs rather than replace them, but we’re always looking at ways to make the CRM experience feel tighter inside Mixmax through integrations and workflow improvements so you can stay in one flow more often.

Thanks again for recommending Mixmax, and for calling out the scalability upside as your team grows.

Nate, Mixmax
