"Mixmax Makes Email Cadences and Follow-Ups Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

Mixmax has been super helpful in sending email cadences. It also helps me track what my employees have been sending and if they are following up in an appropriate time frame. I also really like that I can see who is clicking on and viewing my emails as I send them, I use this feature almost every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

The reporting has been hit or miss, my leadership team is relying on me to provide accurate reporting and details, but that's not always possible. Customer support has been lacking at time as well, with long periods of time with no updates on certain items that we've asked about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thank you, Abby, for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear Mixmax has been helping your team manage email cadences, stay on top of follow-ups, and get better visibility into engagement through email opens and clicks. It’s great to know those features are helping your team connect with potential clients and support revenue growth.

We also appreciate your candid feedback on reporting accuracy and support responsiveness. We understand how important dependable reporting is when your leadership team is counting on that data, and we know that long gaps in communication from support can be frustrating. That’s valuable feedback, and we take it seriously.

Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review and for being a Mixmax customer :)

"Boosts Email Outreach with Superior Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I find Mixmax incredibly valuable for our consultancy's high-volume outbound campaigns, especially for managing 500 to 1,000 emails weekly with automated sequences. I appreciate how it helps maintain consistent outreach schedules, something we couldn't achieve with manual efforts alone. The AI-driven recommended send times ensure our proposals hit prospects' inboxes at peak engagement times, which really helps move leads through our sales funnel with minimal manual intervention. The dynamic engagement dashboard and sequence statistics are especially valuable. They allow us to pivot our messaging on the fly as we receive data on how our content is being consumed. The one-click scheduling feature is a major time-saver, eliminating back-and-forth emails required to book discovery calls, leading to a swift transition from initial contact to confirmed meetings. The platform supports our high weekly email volume without burning out our staff. Mixmax has transformed our outbound strategy from guessing into a data-driven operation, providing a granular view of read and open rates which helps me understand our ROI. Its interface is intuitive and dynamic, enabling quick productivity from our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

My primary critic is that Mixmax feels significantly more optimized for Gmail than for Outlook. Since our firm uses Outlook, we frequently run into friction regarding signature behavior and formatting consistency. It can take a considerable amount of time to get signatures and technical formatting options in place. The editor quirks in the Outlook version sometimes lead to layout discrepancies that we don't see in the Gmail environment. I would like to see the development team prioritize making the Outlook features as dynamic and seamless as their G Suite counterparts, particularly regarding how HTML signatures and complex document attachments are handled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks for such a detailed write-up, Brian — it's genuinely useful to hear how Mixmax fits a high-volume consultancy workflow. Running 500–1,000 emails a week on automated sequences, pivoting messaging off the engagement dashboard, and cutting the back-and-forth on discovery calls with one-click scheduling — that's exactly the data-driven outbound motion we want to power, and it's great to know it's moving leads through your funnel.

On Outlook — that's fair, and you've pinpointed it well. Mixmax started Gmail-first, and that history still shows in places, especially around signature behavior, HTML formatting, and how attachments are handled in the Outlook editor. The friction you're describing is real and not the experience we want for Outlook teams. I've passed your specifics along to our product team. If you're open to it, I'd value hearing more detail on the exact signature and formatting cases that cost you the most time — reply here so we can dig in.

Thanks again for taking the time to write something this thorough.

"Great for automating outreach"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

Love that Mixmax can help automate outreach. This used to take so much time out of my day, but now I can easily do outreach for upcoming conferences, to new prospects, etc without having to worry about following up myself. It's great that you can customize specific messages for specific people as well. Saves so much time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

It would be nice if Mixmax allowed you to send emails from multiple people, rather than just yourself. It would be great if follow up emails could come from my coordinator rather than myself as a pattern interput. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks, Michelle — love hearing this. Automating outreach for conferences and new prospects while still customizing the message per person, and getting that time back in your day, is exactly the balance we want Mixmax to strike. Great to know it's delivering.

On sending from multiple people — that's a sharp idea, and the use case makes sense: a follow-up landing from your coordinator instead of you is a genuine pattern interrupt, and it'd open up real team-based plays. I've passed it along to our product team. If you're open to it, I'd love to hear more about how you'd want the hand-off between senders to work.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this, and for being a long-time Mixmax user.

"Streamlined Email Outreach, Minor Lag Issues"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I really like the interactive in-email content features of Mixmax, specifically the embedded calendar availability and inline poll features, which stand out as their most impressive capability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I find that the Chrome extension can occasionally feel heavy and slows down Gmail, especially when I have a massive inbox open with several other browser extensions running at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines High-Volume Email Work Seamlessly"

What do you like best about Mixmax?

I find Mixmax incredibly useful for setting up sequences that automatically tune in response to customer actions, allowing me to effortlessly maintain a personal touch with hundreds of clients without being tied to my desk all day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

Mixmax's contact management system feels lacking; it's more like a mini CRM and could use some improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Outreach with Advanced Customization"
4/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I like how Mixmax allows us to schedule prospect outreach at scale, with customized sequences for different personas. I appreciate the multi-step sequences, which can be batch uploaded and run in the background so it clears up time in my day to focus on other activities. Additionally, Mixmax has Smart Send functionality to send emails when the prospect is most likely to engage with it. It does a good job of being extremely customizable, including features to auto remove contacts from sequences that are active with another rep. Overall, it's pretty easy and intuitive to use once you get the hang of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I dislike that many necessary features are gated at higher tiers of subscription, even if you only need a few of those features and not everything else from that tier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hey Jim, thanks for the review!

Really glad Mixmax is helping you scale outreach with persona-based sequences, batch uploads, and multi-step automation so you can free up time in a player/coach role. Also great to hear Smart Send and safeguards like removing contacts already active with another rep are working well for your team, and that the Salesforce sync is improving tracking.

On pricing tiers and feature gating: appreciate you calling that out. It’s frustrating when you only need a couple specific capabilities but they live in a higher tier bundle. If you’re open to it, sharing which features you consider “necessary” for your workflow would be helpful signal for us as we think about packaging and how teams of different sizes adopt Mixmax.

"Boosted Communication Efficiency with Mixmax"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I use Mixmax to efficiently communicate with both potential and existing customers and it really helps me make sure I follow up in a timely manner. I love having good visibility on when emails are opened and using the email reminders, which alert me if I haven't responded or if a follow-up is needed. I also love that Mixmax shows me when emails are opened and who opened them, providing a great opportunity for timely follow-ups. The sequences feature in Mixmax is really helpful for mass-targeting a large group of potential customers efficiently. The initial setup of Mixmax was smooth and great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I wish that Mixmax had the ability for us to record our calls that are being done on Google Meet so that way we could send not just the recaps written out, but the actual call itself that is video recorded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hi Kylee, thanks for the review!

Glad Mixmax is helping you stay on top of timely follow-ups, especially with open tracking, reminders, and sequences for scaling outbound without things slipping through the cracks. That “preventing communication mishaps” line is exactly what we’re aiming for.

On call recording for Google Meet: totally hear you. Having the actual video recording to share alongside recaps would be valuable for handoffs, coaching, and keeping deals moving. Mixmax today focuses more on the workflow around meetings (scheduling + follow-up + recaps), but feedback like this helps us prioritize what “complete” meeting coverage should include.

Thanks again for taking the time to write this.

"Effortless Email Automation, Needs AI Improvements"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I like how Mixmax allows me to send 500 emails in one day with ease of use. The user interface is very easy to navigate, requiring no external training, which is particularly my favorite aspect. I find it excellent that minimal training is needed for new users like my SDRs, who can easily figure out how to set up sequences and send emails. Its ease of use makes it a small vanity for me. Setting up Mixmax for my team was very easy and required minimal time, allowing us to hit the ground running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

Sometimes I find little bugs on the tool, and the AI assistant feature could be more comprehensive. They could include some LinkedIn personalizations and all of that. There's room for improvement in the AI side of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hi Raz, thanks for the review.

Great to hear Mixmax is helping you and your SDRs ramp fast and run high-volume outbound smoothly, especially with sequences and an interface that doesn’t require heavy training. Saving time vs. manual bulk emailing is exactly the point.

Appreciate the candid feedback on bugs and the AI assistant. If you can share a couple examples of the bugs you’re running into (where they happen, and what you expected vs. what occurred), we’ll route them to the right team. And on AI: the request for stronger personalization, including LinkedIn-style context, is noted. We’re actively improving that area, and specifics on what “comprehensive” looks like for your workflow (persona inputs, account context, tone, snippet types you want generated) would help us prioritize.

Thanks again for taking the time to write this.

"Effortless Email Sequencing and Calendar Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I find Mixmax super easy to use, especially for doing email sequences. The calendar function is also greatly appreciated and is very user-friendly. Mixmax's seamless integration into Gmail and Google Calendar is a big plus. The initial setup was super easy and onboarding was prompt. Overall, it's a great platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

In the end for us, we're more looking towards other tools that have more Data enrichment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks for the kind words, Nick — really glad Mixmax has made your email sequencing and scheduling easier, and that the Gmail and Google Calendar integration fits naturally into how your team works. That seamless setup is exactly what we're going for.

On data enrichment — that's fair feedback, and it's an area we're actively investing in. If you're open to it, I'd love to learn more about what enrichment data matters most for your team. We've shipped a lot here recently, and there may be more we can do for you before you switch tools. Feel free to reach out to our team directly, or reply here and we'll follow up.

Either way, thanks for being a customer and for taking the time to share this.

"Great Tool for Real Time Email Tracking and Outreach"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

One of the biggest advantages of MixMax is the real time insight into prospect engagement. It allows me to see when emails are opened and how frequently, giving me a much clearer signal on interest level and enabling more strategic, well timed follow ups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

A valuable improvement would be the ability to edit and reorder sequences, allowing for greater flexibility in managing outreach flows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thank you, Aubrey, for updating your review and for sharing your experience with Mixmax. We’re glad to hear the real-time email tracking and engagement insights are helping you better gauge prospect interest, time follow-ups more strategically, and work more efficiently. It’s especially great to hear Mixmax is helping reduce reliance on cold calls and supporting faster deal velocity.

We also appreciate your feedback on sequence editing and reordering. Greater flexibility in managing outreach flows is important, and input like this helps us understand where we can make the product even better for teams running active campaigns.
