They've gone above and beyond to try and help us, even implementing a feature we requested! The classes we have on Trakstar Learn generate continuing education credit, so we're grateful that the system is robust enough to handle the types of content and reporting we need. Uploading courses is easy and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Mitratech Learn? Trakstar Learn is a user interface nightmare: it is so difficult for our users to navigate and troubleshoot, and we have to guide them through even basic functions such as retaking a quiz. There are bugs, and the error messages are misleading and vague. For example, if a user hasn't completed a course all the way through, and the course glitches, they get a message that says "You have completed this course 100%!" We then have to explain over the phone that no, it is not complete, you'll have to find the part of the course that isn't done. Since we provide classes for mostly outside learners, archiving users and reinstating them is a gigantic pain. Our users take classes once every three years or so, so they need to be archived regularly, and reinstated on demand. Trakstar Learn really can't handle this well. Easy to see relationship between modules and courses. Easy to upload a new module or modules, attach to a course, and then assign that course. Bulk upload for new learners process was intuitive. I'll start off by saying that I used Mindflash at a company who was experiencing a lot of growth and change, and so some of these might just be things relating to our instance and how it was set up when I started: Groups weren't made automatically and were confusing to navigate/edit. We ended up not even using them at all and always assigning to a group of individuals. Though it is possible to assign to a group of individuals via Excel upload, doing so with just names and emails erases all other information about that user, so we couldn't do that. When adding individuals to a course, archived users didn't show up...I realize for most orgs that wouldn't be an issue, but for me, it meant that I had to keep a separate list of those whose names I couldn't find and lol for them in users. We were able to house and distribute eLearning courses at scale, particularly useful for independent contractors who come and go, and work on their own timeframe.
