  ### 2. Not bad for a phone system

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara B. | Commercial Lines Account Support Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

I like that Mitel has been beneficial while working from home. The feature that I like most is having calls forwarded to your cell phone directly from your work line.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

I do not like that the app is not user-friendly. The setting can be challenging to navigate through to set the phone up as you want it (i.e., forwarding calls). The program also seems to have technical issues quite a bit.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mitel has allowed the employees at my place of business to work from home during COVID-19. We have large wired phones, so using the Mitel app has made working from home much more manageable.

  ### 3. Helpful with remote workforce

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole L. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

The ability to be remote and still have office based phone numbers - is more seamless to the external people we deal with. Eliminates remote staff needing to use their cell phones too.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

if the internet is down - so is every one of our phones and phone numbers. Also, there is no way to access our staffs voicemails or see who hasnt been checking them etc.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When covid hit originally, our whole team had to shift into remote work almost overnight. We had no remote workers at the time so it was a huge adjustment - Mitel made keeping our phones running easy

It's a great platform if you are working from home and don't have access to a hard phone. Platform is also user friendly

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

It doesn't work well or integrate with the current crm platform that we are using. Cloud business was sold to Ringcenral so not sure what will happen

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working from home and ease of use is the best feature for micloud connect. Also the chat feature within your organization is easy

The desktop and mobile app feature is the best.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

I wish the call quality was better as it can sound robotic or with static.

It's helping us communicate better internally as well as feeling like we have an office phone number without being in a physical office.

  ### 6. One of the flexible UC platforms

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

The Mobility app is a great all-in-one communication tool that has simplified and enhanced our ability to contact our employees on the move. Integration options with other platforms and services provide us with opportunities to improve how we communicate within our business and with our customers.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Administration of advanced features over the web.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mobility Features over the phone has resolved our softphone issue over the external network.

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

the configuration of Mitel is very easy '

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

This is the third downtime in a row and pretty much the same time. '

  ### 9. Mitel MiCloud Connect Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole D. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

The thing that I like best about this program is being able to see the data of how many phone calls each of my employees take. It it great to be able to see this to help assign projects. Some employees are more phone call based while others like answering the phones. So after using this program I am able to tell which is which.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The downside of using MiCloud Connect is that when you first seen the program you are overwhelmed because you don't know where everything is located. To help with this they have a lot of support articles that you can read to help you figure out where you need to go to get certain reports and answers.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

My advice would be don't get overwhelmed when you first start using the product. Like anything it does take a little time in order to learn what you are doing. If you have any questions try to reach out to support by either chatting online with them or looking at their support articles. Once you know what you are doing with this product it is very user friends and you be able to get all the data you need from it.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits we have realized as a company is being able to better gauge when our busy times of the day, weeks, and months are. Being able to use and view this data is huge as it helps us figure out how many employees we need at certain times. It also helps us prepare for the business.

  ### 10. Mostly Good

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

The ease of setup. It just works. All you need is an internet connection.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Making some changes can't be done without involving support. Some things you can create/add, but you cannot remove yourself.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a lot less work than an on premise solution such as Cisco's phone service. Being a small IT department this has freed us up to take care of other things.

  ### 11. Good product, easy to use but looking forward to improvements on the portal

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

The product overall has a good range of features that have helped our offices. We also have a great rep that has always been extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The portal can be very challenging to navigate.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to connect all of our offices across the US>

  ### 12. Mitel MiCloud Connect was a critical move for us

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane V. | IT Specialist, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Redudancy
Eliminate the risk of on-premise equipment and phone lines failing
Easier management and scaling of users and services
Value added features included where before we had to license each one
Mitel Mobile App
Supports Azure AD Single Sign-on eliminating the need to have a separate password for Mitel from our enterprise credentials.
Multiple ways to contact support
Fully managed so it takes the burden off my shoulders knowing anyone in our company can get help and don't have to rely on reaching me.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Some cases take too long to resolve. I've had an open case for an Outlook calendar integration issue since March, and it's still not resolved. It seems there are some growing pains after they took over Shoretel and struggle to resolve some issues, though overall there have been very, very few of these types of downsides.

I wish the Mitel Connect Mobile app would support two-way "Call Presence" so whenever I'm on a call on the Mobile App, those using the Desktop app can see I'm on a call, and vice versa, especially for our receptionist to be able to globally see everyone's status. The mobile and desktop apps need to be bridged.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

Be prepared to share your expectations with their implementation team and don't be shy. Make sure you're getting the call flows and behavior you expect, and this may require creating some flow charts or other type of planning tool to really lay out how you want your system to work. Also gain a thorough understanding of which license your organization will need to be sure you have the features you will actually use and exclude those you will not. You can always change, which is the beauty of a Cloud subscription. We started out with Essentials and discovered later we needed to upgrade, so it came out at a higher cost, which didn't make management happy, but they understood. I wish I had scoped it out better in the beginning.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had zero redundancy if our phone system went down, leaving us down and dead in the water, so this solves that huge gap in reliability, where most of the time of Mitel is having any sort of issue, it's here or there and not across the board, so maybe the web applications have an outage, but we can still make/receive calls.

  ### 13. Reliable VoIP service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe J. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

The software is easy to set up and use. I like that I can customize for each user in my network features such as simultaneous ring on the user's cellphone. Sound quality is generally very good.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Each upgrade of software installs additional programs, like TeamWork, which I do not want and have to uninstall. It would be better if it gave me the choice at install to select which programs I wanted. While the quality of the sound I hear is excellent, the quality of the sound others hear is only good. I changed headsets, but it still remained only good. Would like the ability to cut-and-paste codes into the dialing box; right now can put in numbers to call, but have to hand input codes for conference calls, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

I do not use it.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a solid, inexpensive solution for office telephones. We are about to move and using this product has taken one big issue off my desk. When we move, our phone service will move with us with minimal effort and no expense.

  ### 14. Evolving quality

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Paper & Forest Products | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

The set of software solutions are feature packed. Mitel is constantly improving the features and releasing additional capabilities. Most impressive is that the core functionality is not ignored. The ability to make and manage phone calls is stable and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Updates are a little too frequent, often requiring downloads of new client software AND reconfiguration of downloaded software. How, at this stage of development, the setup software STILL requires a USER to know the server as "clientstart.sky.shoretel.com" is beyond me, and the updates routinely ask for this cryptic information.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

Go for it. At the present time, the software is quite good. Apart from too-frequent updates, my organization is pleased with the capabilities and reliability of the software. It has truly come along way - we were early adopters and the software is far better today.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more PBX management problems (and limitations), no more requirement to find multiple providers for different solutions. Mitel offers a nice package of (expanding) capabilities.

  ### 15. Excellent

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Being able to create new users quickly and get them up and running within the same day. Getting the call flow up and running is also very nice as it loads very quickly and allows for new offices or in general new routing to occur when it needs to be done. It is also nice to have even different departments get their own number if they like to ring to them specifically instead of people calling the main company phone line in order to reach them.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Call center reporting doesn't work well and errors out every time. I think the overall reporting can be improved by showing what call went to voicemail, who exactly answered the call when it came in and who transferred what call to what person.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

I would say if you want a reliable service and good support system to switch over with the benefit of easily adding new users or locations to the system.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everyone in the company is not on one phone system and can connect to anyone easily now. Our employees used different systems everywhere and we were able to connect everyone onto the Mitel system. This allows for someone here in Georgia to call someone in South Carolina easily just be dialing an extension instead of calling an office number to go through their individual prompts and then finally getting to them Now its a simply task of just dialing 4 numbers or looking them up in the Directory.

  ### 16. Functional and Feature-Rich

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Mitel Connect, which used to be ShoreTel Sky, is easy to manage from an administrator's point of view. From provisioning phones to adding and configuring features, Mitel Connect offers myriad functional features which we use daily.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Outages. Mitel Connect has had at least two massive outages and several minor outages in the past year. During a massive outage, getting hold of a customer service rep is nearly impossible. What's more, getting an answer from them after two hours on hold is also unlikely.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

The cost savings are incredible. When calculating the cost of the switch, please, consider the following: domestic long distance calls, international long distance calls, interstate subscriber fees, local taxes, state taxes, communication excise taxes, cost of included features, time for maintaining an on-premise PBX, and technology.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We switched from a hybrid analog POTS line with a digital PBX to Mitel. We eliminated a dozen fees that go to the phone company, the municipality, the state, and the federal government. We gained a ton of useful features, which would have cost us extra had we stayed with a traditional phone company. Plus, there's no need to maintain an on-premise PBX.

  ### 17. Mitel cloud

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

You can make easy changes online to any phone line.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

When you have a phone disconnected for several days it loses it in the system.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

Don't have any.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not really solving any problems.

  ### 18. MiCloud Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | 3D Modeler, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Micloud allows me to better connect with my customers, my clients, and my coworkers. It provides great functionality and excellent customer service as well as timely user support.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

MiCloud has many features and functions and sometimes it can be difficult to figure out how to use each of its features. I would prefer if there were more user friendly instructions or guides on using all the features of MiCloud

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

Get it! its a great service.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MiCloud allows me to easily make VoIP calls and conferences calls with my coworkers, clients and customers no matter where they are. By using MiCloud I have greatly enhanced communication and time management in my workplace.

  ### 19. Mobile Connect is Awesome

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rene L. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

I like that I can use my mobile phone and it looks like I am calling from my office.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The Mitel portal can be really slow or freeze up. This makes it difficult to get services or solutions accomplished.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We like the fact that VoIP can be used anywhere in the world that has an internet connection. Thus assisting us in getting our remote work force up and running.

  ### 20. Good connect center

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth H. | Customer Service Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Website is reasonably easy to use. We really like the option to set up multiple queues for different work groups within the same departments.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Too many websites for different things such as password resets, login, management functions and support.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

Get yourself familiar with all feature prior to going live.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to better assist customers and know how many calls are regularly being handled or in queue.

  ### 21. Great customer service

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David Q. | Technical Support Manager / Customer Rewards Loyalty Program Manager, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Mitel does have great customer service, though it is done over chat only. I have always gotten an excellent response.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The service does go down more often than we thought it would. Some times for just a minutes; other times it has gone down for an hour or more.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our problems have mainly been with lines and user names getting mixed up.

  ### 22. Helpful Service With Adequate Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

The phone system is intuitive and powerful - there is a lot to like there.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The flip side is that the system can be confusing or overwhelming for new users. The back-end portal also needs an overhaul to become more intuitive and digestible. Additionally, the customer support can be difficult to reach quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

Make sure you have multiple employees who understand the platform and can help troubleshoot internal questions.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our users are more connected than they were with our prior phone system. The ability to forward calls to our personal phones through the app is a game-changer.

  ### 23. Management Feedback on Reporting and Call Metrics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

I like that once you understand how to read the report and run the reports that you want, they are easy to read. I also like the feature that not only do you have reporting capabilities but that you can download them into an Excel for creating additional reporting.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The only downside that I have is that my automated reporting goes down. When reaching out to support, it seems kind of hard to get someone on the phone to walk through a solution.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

N/A

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving daily reporting and KPIs for a sales team. I created a daily report that is sent out automatically so that I do not have to go in and manually pull the reports each day.

  ### 24. Good cloud access, doesn't always work well

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

You can control it from anywhere. Fairly intuitive to setup new people

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Sometimes when we walk in all the orange lights are on. Don't really know why. Need to reset all the phones. This has happened about 4 times. Not all of the basic feature from an old wired phone are available. Call forwarding is hard to set. The outlook add-ons is stopped by outlook always.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

Compare features of what you want and then need.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Availability to use the phones and program ourselves.

  ### 25. It's easy to use and very helpful.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

The ease of use. It has a lot of features that are really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Connectivity can sometimes be an issue, as with most VOIP systems. Once the stability is fixed it will be awesome. It can be a huge issue when the internet drops signal though. It would be nice to have a built in backup that is landline.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

It's a great VOIP system. VOIP still has stability issues, but MiCloud seems to be doing pretty well with it.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not really applicable. It let's me do what I was already doing a bit better, but I wouldn't say it has had an impact in the manner you're asking.

  ### 26. very satisfied

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul B. | Design Technician / Machinist / Maintenance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

I like being able to answer my desk phone on my cell when I'm away from my desk.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

2 emails for a voicemail becomes redundant

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

options are easy to use.

  ### 27. Easy to Use and implement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Recreational Facilities and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

It was easy to set up for our multiple locations across the US and we got to choose the Area code for all of our DIDs.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Making sure that you has Power of Ethernet (POE) switch for each location was not something we expected originally, but it worked out the best for us.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One button dial between our offices in different states!!

  ### 28. There is still room for growth!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

I love the mobile app and being able to make calls from your cell phone with your desk phone number.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

That customer service is still learning the software and only a hand full of people are truly helpful when you call.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

If you are looking for a phone system to take on the go this is the best option on the market.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Over head paging systems are causing a issue as the trunk doesn't always come programmed correctly. Benefits so far is the easy of use with being mobile and having different communication apps.

  ### 29. Mitel Connect

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

I love that I can use Mitel Connect to do everything without having to use my phone. It makes listening to voicemail, looking up past calls and changing phone settings very easy. Being able forward calls to my cell phone has been incredibly helpful when away from the office for events and meetings.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Nothing! So far it has been easy to use and set up.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mitel Connect has been incredibly helpful for staff that are often away from the office but need to be available by phone by having calls transferred to their cell phones.

  ### 30. More outages than I'd like, but service quality has been excellent

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

By and large, the service has performed well beyond expectations. Managing the system is straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Support response times are not what I'd expect for simple requests. I'm uncertain if this is due to being overwhelmed by some of the platform issues they're experiencing or if they're still trying to complete their Shoretel integration. That said, overall, support has been adequate and we have no plans on leaving Mitel.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use MiCloud Connect for remote sites where an on-prem solution would require too much overhead and difficulties with centralized management.

  ### 31. When it works, it works well. Making changes is difficult.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

I like the flexibility of being able to set things up the way we want to.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

When a change is made it seems like everything gets messed up. It's hard to make changes without having to call and have someone help to make the changes, and then it takes weeks to get all the bugs worked out.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We love being able to not be tied to our desks. I love that I can transfer to calls to our field guys even without having a desk phone for them.

  ### 32. Mitel Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa P. | Director of Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Ability to make changes to the visual call flow editor

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The reporting is very confusing, I have had to call support anytime I needed to set up or change reporting. The wording and choices are difficult to understand.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

centralizing our calls to one location has been a huge benefit

  ### 33. My experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott P. | Network admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Having a centralized phone system in multiple locations.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The app. You keep updating it, and it needs admin credentials. Easily the worst part of your system.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

Don't use the app.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well, I don't have a long distance bill now.

  ### 34. Mitel Connect Rocks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe A. | Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Able to be reached at anytime on my computer or mobile phone.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The random disconnects with my ISP suck but never have issues reconnecting.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has allowed me to be remote and keep in touch with coworkers.

  ### 35. Great value compared to other offerings

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Printing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

As a complete value, the web conferencing with phone dial-in is as robust as standalone products from other companies. On top of that you are getting a great desktop phone system included.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The instant messenger is behind the times compared to Slack and Teams. The Outlook plugin for scheduling is also very finicky.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company conference calls are an absolute breeze now, especially as a company spread out over so many locations.

  ### 36. Modern look

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Different ways to use it. Mobile, desktop, desk phone.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Can take a while to load. Sometimes it crashes when login in.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Telecommute is better. Staff can stay connected to their number from anywhere.

  ### 37. Review

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

I like the online portal where you can make changes to your account without having to call.

If there is a problem, there is usually a long wait on the phone.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

Use the portal.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was nice to have VOIP phones so we didnt have to run cables in our new office.

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

I came from skype for business and wont be going back.

  ### 44. Mitel Conect

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tad A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

I love how easy it is to use! Mitel Connect is easy to set up and ongoing maintenance

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

There are a few things we would like to see change at some point.
1) When someone leaves the company we cannot delete them we have to rename the account for the new person. If you delete and add someone new there is a 50 dollar charge, if you rename there is no charge?
2) I wish our fax numbers could be the same as our Direct dial number. I have used other systems where the same number was used as your direct dial and fax number.
3) When voicemails are sent to email the voice mail is not removed, at some point, the voicemail fills up and you are forced to go and delete them from the phone or application? why not have something that auto deletes them after X days or delete the oldest and keep going?

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

Take your time and map of all your phone numbers porting lines after the fact is a lot harder than all at once.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mitel connect is our office phone system. we have 15 offices and its nice to have an ext to dial and reach any office.

  ### 45. great features, fairly easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua F. | Freelancer, Market Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

voicemail configuration options and the ease of switching to softphone and back to office phone

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

mobile app softphone doesn't receive hunt group calls

**Recommendations to others considering Mitel:**

After attempting to use it for instant messaging, users basically revolted and we switched to a different app for IM in order to keep everybody on one system. The issues were 1) the mobile app did not do IM and 2) the desktop IM notifications were difficult to notice, people were missing that they got IMs.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

mobility. users working from home or on the road have easy options to make/receive calls

  ### 46. Solid Unified Connectivity Provider, But Still Has Room to Improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Phones are easy to use. Sound quality on their network is far superior to an over-the -internet Skype call.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Seems to be a service outage every season. While they are typically cleared up in under an hour, some have lasted the majority of the business day. Needs better integration with Skype for Business / Teams.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mitel MiCloud is providing us our primary voice channel, and, through an MPLS between each of our sites and the MiTel Cloud, our primary data channel between our two business locations. It also allows our remote employees (few, but vital and important) to be integrated into our communications infrastructure as though they were in an office down the hall. Voicemail attachments to email have reduced turnaround time on responses to customers.

  ### 47. Good program, a little short on service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Safety | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

We were former ShoreTel customers that were migrated to Mitel with a merger. So far, I've seen consistent uptime with few interruptions in our phone cloud service. There is a quick access to any help or support issues through the physical telephone via a softkey.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

Customer service seems mired in a tiered system with a low-level of tech ability at the lowest tier. For a complex service with complex issues, the first contact in a tiered support system should have a higher level of empowerment and knowledge base.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud Connect allows us to communicate effectively with so many features that would be cost-prohibitive otherwise

  ### 48. Good product with a few hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

Ability to connect multiple sites into one system without the hassle of private tunnels or managing on-prem hardware.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The current desktop client app requires admin access in order to run an update, and a majority of the time will not run at all when there is an update pending. This can cause quite an issue when you have several locations needing updated at once.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest business problem was that all of our sites were completely sectioned off and unable to link to each other. Now we are on one system, one directory, easily able to transfer between sites.

  ### 49. Happy client but still monitoring

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

The seamless design which allows use of our phone system across multiple sites and devices.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

The price is becoming burdensome as we continue to grow and add more phones to our system. I also think the portal could be a little more intuitive and user friendly.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seamless usage as we add more sites to our business. Call flow visualization, although I don't love the portal's design, is beneficial to us. Pre-programming holidays and business hours is great.

  ### 50. Phones with lots of features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Mitel?**

This solution is very scalable and has many more features that our old system. My users can call support and get their phones set up to meet their individual needs.

**What do you dislike about Mitel?**

There was a learning curve on operating them. Also, users need to know their login for the phone.

**What problems is Mitel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefit is a cost savings on a more robust system. Also, our remote workers can be a part of our office phone system which has improved inter-office communications.
