"Makes cost accounting coordination way easier"
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

Cost accounting means constantly chatting with operations, purchasing, and engineering

about material costs, labor rates, and overhead splits. Missive puts all these

cross-department conversations in one spot so our small cost accounting team stays

aligned. Being able to pull in experts using private notes without cluttering the actual email is

super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

Would be way better if it connected better to our ERP system's cost modules - right now

we're manually cross-checking between systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful for managing asset acquisition communications"
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

Fixed asset accounting involves coordinating with purchasing, operations, and vendors about equipment acquisitions, disposals, and transfers. Missive centralizes these cross-functional conversations so I can track asset-related communications efficiently. The shared inbox means my backup can handle vendor questions about asset documentation when I'm unavailable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

Integration with our fixed asset management system would eliminate the need to manually cross-reference asset tags between platforms. The file organization could be more visual when dealing with asset photos and documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Missive Supercharges Team Collaboration and Streamlines Email Triage"
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

Missive helps us supercharge collaboration across a large team while also making it easier to triage our emails. Email is our primary mode of communication, so streamlining that workflow as much as possible has been a huge win for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

It’s a product that’s constantly evolving and improving, and most of the changes tend to make the overall experience better. That said, the out-of-office feature still needs work and could be more polished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost coordination actually works now"
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

Being able to pull in the right people using private notes without cluttering up the actual email is a game changer. Love that all our cost discussions are in one place instead of scattered across everyone's inboxes. File sharing handles our costing spreadsheets and backup docs pretty smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

Could use some work on handling bigger Excel files with lots of different costing scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful for team email visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

Having email and team chat in the same place saves me time compared to constantly switching between tools. I mostly use it on desktop, but the mobile app also works well for quick checks when I’m away. Internal comments are especially useful for adding context or handing things off to teammates without cluttering up the main email thread. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

Initial setup can take a bit of time, especially if you want your rules and notifications dialed in properly from the start. Until everyone has adjusted their settings, the notifications can also feel overwhelming and a little noisy.

In my experience, it’s worth keeping the number of features, ease of integration, and overall ease of use in mind when writing your review, since those areas can influence how smooth the setup feels and how manageable notifications are day to day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Missive Makes Email Collaboration Effortless with Shared Inboxes and Real-Time Co-Editing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

Missive makes team collaboration around email feel incredibly easy. Shared inboxes, internal notes, and real-time co-editing help us avoid duplicate replies and keep everyone aligned. It also streamlines our workflow by replacing multiple tools with one clean, focused workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

Because Missive is so feature-rich, it can take a little time to fully explore everything and set up your workflows. However, once it’s configured, it quickly becomes efficient and intuitive for everyday use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for managing multiple client accounts"
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

Setting up separate inboxes for each client account works really well. Makes it easy to switch between clients and instantly see where things stand and what's been discussed. The @mention feature for looping in our tech people or billing folks right in the thread has sped up our responses big time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

When a bunch of us are working on the same draft email, figuring out who changed what can get messy. The comment feature helps, but it's not perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
