"A reliable shared inbox that actually improves team communication."
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

What I like most is how seamlessly Missive combines email, team chat, and collaboration in one place. Instead of constantly switching between Slack and Gmail, everything happens inside the same thread. The internal comments feature is especially useful - we can discuss emails privately before replying, which avoids confusion and duplicate responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

There is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, especially for team members who are used to traditional email tools. Also, some advanced automation features take time to fully understand and configure properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"We moved from Spark to Missive as we found it way more productive"
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

Missive is a lot better than other mails like the normal ones like Outlook. We also tried Spark mail, but Missive collaboration feature, it's really one of the best out there. So what we really like about it is that you can collaborate by using a ton of features and shortcuts so that it makes the day a lot more productive. Customer support is really top, they take their time to explain you how it works and show you, and they also reply to mails very quickly, so they are great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

The pricing is a little bit high for Missif but that's because I'm based in Italy and of course it's a little bit expensive. But other than that I don't have any complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost coordination actually works now"
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

Being able to pull in the right people using private notes without cluttering up the actual email is a game changer. Love that all our cost discussions are in one place instead of scattered across everyone's inboxes. File sharing handles our costing spreadsheets and backup docs pretty smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

Could use some work on handling bigger Excel files with lots of different costing scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keeps Team Communication Organised with Clear Ownership"
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

What I like best about Missive is how it keeps team communication organised in one place. Shared inboxes, internal comments and clear assignment make it easy to collaborate, track ownership and avoid duplicated or missed responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

One downside is that Missive can take some time to learn, especially when setting up shared inboxes, rules and assignments. Some features are not immediately intuitive, so new users may need guidance before they can use the platform confidently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern, Collaborative Email Management for High-Volume Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

Coming from the Microsoft/Outlook world, Missive feels much more collaborative, especially for shared inbox environments. It makes it easy to organize and distribute emails without constantly forwarding messages or creating multiple copies across different mailboxes.

The ability to assign emails, link related conversations together, and move seamlessly between threads has been extremely helpful. If one conversation is relevant to another, we can easily connect them and follow the full trail without losing context. The SLA functionality is another strong feature, helping ensure critical mailboxes are handled within the expected timeframes.

The rules and automation features are also very powerful and have allowed us to rethink how we process emails, saving time and improving consistency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

In the past, the search function wasn’t as strong as we would have liked, especially when trying to locate older or very specific messages. However, this is an area they’ve been actively improving, and we’ve seen noticeable progress over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Client communication that actually reflects the whole team"
5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

All project correspondence living in one system has changed how the work actually flows. Moving between projects is frictionless, emails become action items without any extra steps, and internal team discussion stays completely invisible to clients - which matters more than it sounds when you're trying to keep communication professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

The integration library has gaps that create manual workarounds for tools we use every day. The left sidebar also becomes harder to navigate as shared inboxes accumulate - needs a cleaner organizational approach for teams managing a lot of them simultaneously. Shared inboxes are easy to set up and use, and the integrations with Pipedrive and Shopify work really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

Could be some more powerful filtering and rules, and there's a risk emails get lost if you don't get this right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Team Chat and Email Notes That Keep Us in Sync"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

Missive helps our office to communicate as a team. The chat is amazing! That is my favourite bit. We can put notes on emails and use like a mini CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

My only negative is that we cannot access other people's inboxes without having them as part of our own. We do not need access day to day, so we have a rule that tags another person in an email when the out of office is set. It is not ideal, but it works just fine for now. It would be great to somehow allow this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Team Communication and Email Management with Missive"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Missive?

I like using Missive for team communication and email management, as it helps us keep track of who is handling what. The unified inbox is great because it allows us to handle our own emails, shared inboxes, and assignments all at the same time. This feature saves us countless hours and helps keep our customers happy. Transitioning from Front to Missive was beneficial as it's more streamlined and three times more affordable. The setup was easier than I anticipated, with the Missive support team being very helpful throughout the operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Missive?

There is honestly very little to dislike. A direct Slack integration would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
