## Missive Reviews
  ### 1. Incredibly helpful and functional tool in the workplace!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I love being able to merge messages or conversations, being able to make comments on anything that comes through the inbox for easy communication within the team, and how seamlessly it allows us to integrate other applications to make our jobs that much easier!
The functionality is unmatched.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Nothing I can think of off the top of my head!

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive solves the problem of having a massive dumping ground (and sometimes, graveyard) of communications in the inbox(es)--having a shared team inbox as well as personal inboxes, and the ability to label and tag things to fit our needs, tremendously benefits me and my team's ability to take care of our clients and keep track of all of our voicemails, texts, and emails without wondering if something got lost or buried. It's also allows me to create conversations for projects or upcoming events for collaborative planning, delegating tasks, and staying up-to-date.

  ### 2. Missive made adding an assistant easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie W. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I've been thrilled with Missive, since I started using it for my small business a few months ago. I was nervous that it would be too difficult and complicated but the opposite is true. It's extremely intuitive and easy to figure out.

Missive has all the functionality I need to bring an assistant on board. One of my favorite features is how I can save template responses and quickly pull them into an email with a hashtag and the title. It saves me so much time. I also use something they call Labels, which are like folders and very useful for keeping my inbox tidy.

Plus, the customer support is fantastic, which is incredibly reassuring.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I haven't found much yet that isn't helpful. I came across a small bug recently where emails were coming into my inbox in duplicate but the customer support team fixed that very quickly.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive solved my issue of how to bring an assistant on board after doing all my own admin for many years.

  ### 3. Project communication finally makes sense

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan C. | Junior Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Having all project emails centralized in one organized system changes everything. I can hop between projects, turn emails into tasks right there, and keep our internal chat separate from what clients see.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Needs more integrations - some of our daily tools don't connect natively yet. Also, the sidebar gets messy when you're managing tons of shared inboxes.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of Use, Number of Features, Ease of Integration

  ### 4. One Platform to Manage Emails Across Multiple Organization Accounts with integrated other apps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitendar k. | Accountant, Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

It helps me manage all emails from multiple organization accounts in one platform.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Sometimes I mistakenly click an email and it gets marked as read. Because of this, it disappears from our review list and we miss it. We need an audit history section so we can re-check these actions and review the available options.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me manage all my emails from multiple sources on one platform, and it also makes it easy to tag them to the right assignee and access them quickly.

  ### 5. Support team works way better together now

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himani K. | Brand Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Email threads with built-in team messaging work great. We talk through plans, write replies together, and keep everything in one spot without making the email messy. It's basically like Slack inside your email, but better because the chat stays connected to each email.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Reports need more details. I want better data on how fast we reply, how the team is doing, and customer patterns. Right now the reports are pretty simple.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had total email confusion - different people replying to the same customer, no idea who was doing what, and discussions about emails happening in multiple places. Missive put everything in one place. Now we can see everything clearly, people are accountable, and customers get quicker and more consistent answers.

  ### 6. Flexible Shared Mailboxes with Easy Rule Imports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The ability to import rules and quickly reconfigure shared mailboxes, if needed, is very helpful. I already used Front before for sharing, but Missive is more flexible for my use case.

Customer support has been quick and helpful.

The pricing scheme is way better for my team of 11 people than others offered. Others required a huge price jump per account from 10 to 11.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Keeping track of which Inbox vs Team Inbox can be a steep learning curve.

The Calendar feature is no where near the Calendar in Front.

Both Front and Missive suffer from the lack of ability to use Google for mail but use Teams as your default meeting option.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shared inboxes and automated rule delegation. We are still trying to move our entire customer support operation to Notion, but Missive gets us closer to the needed use case than Front (not that Front is bad).

  ### 7. Effective for organizing product costing discussions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** YUDHVEER S. | Senior Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The ability to involve subject matter experts through private comments—without cluttering the main email thread—is extremely valuable. It keeps communication clean while enabling effective collaboration. I also appreciate having all cost-related discussions centralized in one place rather than scattered across multiple departmental inboxes. Additionally, file sharing works well for distributing costing spreadsheets and supporting documents.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Attachment handling could be improved, particularly when working with large Excel files that contain multiple costing scenarios.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive has improved our costing accuracy by enabling collaborative input rather than isolated work. It allows us to respond more quickly to operational costing inquiries, which supports better pricing decisions and faster turnaround on bids.

  ### 8. Missive Transformed Our Teamwork, But Search Needs Major Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulo A. | Finance Controller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Honestly, Missive is just really practical. Our team was a mess before, and now it's not.

The main thing is that our shared inboxes (support@, info@, etc.) aren't confusing anymore. Before, we'd all be in there, and we had no idea who was replying to what.

Now, it's simple:

Chat in the email: If I'm not sure about a reply, I just @ my boss in a chat panel on the side of the email. We figure it out, and I send the reply. No forwards, no separate Slack messages. It’s all just attached to the one conversation.

Assigning tasks is obvious: A new email comes in. My boss assigns it to me. It's mine. Everyone else on the team can see it's mine, so they don't touch it. It’s impossible to have two people reply to the same customer.

It cleans up my day: I use "snooze" all the time. If I can't deal with something until tomorrow, I hit snooze, and it just comes back tomorrow. My inbox stays clean, and I don't forget. I also use their templates for common questions, which saves me a ton of time.

That's basically it. It just took our messy, shared email problems and made them simple. It works.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

But the search... it's a nightmare.

Seriously, trying to find a specific past email is awful. If you don't know the exact subject line or person, good luck. It's clunky, slow, and I often just give up and go find the email in my old Gmail account, which completely defeats the purpose.

So, for managing what's happening right now, it's great. For finding anything that happened more than a week ago? It's genuinely terrible. We just live with it because the day-to-day collaboration is so much better.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main good things are the team features. Assigning tasks is obvious: an email comes in, my boss assigns it to me, and it's mine. Everyone knows I'm on it. The chat inside the email is great, too. I just @ my boss, we figure out a reply, and it's done. And I use "snooze" all the time to keep my inbox clean.

  ### 9. Excellent for breaking down information silos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prabha B. | Senior Financial Analyst, Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The real-time collaboration is what stands out most. When a tricky customer issue comes in, I can loop in technical team members right in the email thread with internal comments. No more forwarding back and forth or losing context. The rules automation also helps route different types of requests to the right people automatically.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The learning curve for advanced features is steeper than basic email. It took our team a couple weeks to really leverage all the collaboration features effectively.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest problem was information silos - sales would have context that support didn't, or vice versa. Missive gives us shared visibility across the entire customer journey. When someone asks about their account, I can see all previous communications instantly.

  ### 10. Transformed how our project team handles client emails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garima J. | Senior Financial Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Getting all our project correspondence into one unified place has been a total shift for
how we operate. Jumping between different projects is seamless, converting emails into
action items happens right on the spot, and our team discussions stay completely hidden
 from client view.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The integration options need expanding - a handful of tools we depend on daily still don't
have direct connections. The left sidebar also starts feeling pretty cluttered once you're
juggling a lot of shared inboxes simultaneously.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reviewing and refining client emails together as a team before sending has genuinely raised our game. Response times are better, we're more in sync with each other, and we've actually had clients bring up how much smoother things feel on their end.

  ### 11. We love Missive!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy D. | Manager, Marketing Maven, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I love the connection to the team and how easy it is to collaborate before responding to a text or email from customer.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I’m finding it difficult to know which messages I should close, where it goes. I just need more training likely, I just find it a little difficult to determine where to put things or how to keep important conversations at the top. I’m going to see if I can find training. Not something missive needs to do anything about, it’s just me lol.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to have a record of work communications to be able to go back and reference.

  ### 12. Game-changer for support team collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajay K. | Assistant Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The threaded conversations with internal team chat are phenomenal. We can discuss strategy, draft responses together, and keep all context in one place without cluttering the actual email. It's like having Slack built into your inbox, but way more useful because the conversation stays with the relevant email.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The reporting features could be more robust. I'd love deeper analytics on response times, team performance, and customer interaction patterns. Right now it's pretty basic.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were drowning in email chaos - multiple people responding to the same customer, losing track of who was handling what, and having conversations about emails in three different places. Missive centralized everything. Now we have complete visibility, accountability, and our customers get faster, more consistent responses.

  ### 13. It is okay

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloë D. | Sales Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I especially like the shared inbox functionality and the ability to discuss emails internally before replying to customers. It keeps communication professional and organized.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Certain settings and automation options could be explained more clearly for less technical users.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?

  ### 14. Game-Changing Email Comments

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy P. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive’s core features are very strong. In particular, the ability to add comments directly on email threads has been a game changer for me. It has significantly reduced the number of confusing back-and-forth email threads and made conversations much easier to follow.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I find there is a bit of a feature overload. I do not always understand what will happen when I make a selection in a menu. Specifically, I find comments and notifications a challenge.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of communication amongst the team.

  ### 15. A Real Time-Saver: Centralized Email & Messaging With Seamless Shift Handoffs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dinesh R. | Consulting Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Combining email and messaging in one tool is a real time-saver. It's woven into how we operate now. Keeping everything centralized eliminates a lot of the usual confusion. Use it constantly throughout the day. The assignment feature is clutch during handoffs between shifts - nothing slips away

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Getting it configured right takes more effort than you'd think upfront. Notifications are pretty aggressive until you dial them in.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were stuck with separate personal inboxes before and had zero visibility into what others were handling. Now everything's in one shared view. That's cut down on dropped emails and made people more accountable. Team coordination runs smoother. Conversations staying in one spot means fewer screw-ups and less back-and-forth checking on things. Whole operation
moves faster.

  ### 16. Product costing coordination simplified

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sneha K. | Process Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Bringing in the right experts through private comments - while keeping the actual email clean - is incredibly helpful. All our cost-related conversations live in one spot now instead of being split across different department inboxes. File sharing handles our costing models and backup documentation reasonably well

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Dealing with big Excel files that have multiple costing scenarios could be smoother - the attachment features feel a bit limited for complex workbooks.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

how is that benefiting you?*
Our cost calculations are landing more accurately because we're tapping everyone's expertise instead of people working in silos. We're also getting back to ops with costing answers much faster, which helps when they need to quote pricing or respond to RFPs quickly.

  ### 17. Helpful for organizing product costing discussions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anil G. | Assistant Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Cost accounting means constant talking with operations, purchasing, and engineering about material costs, labor rates, and overhead splits. Missive puts all these cross-department conversations in one place so our small cost accounting team stays on the same page. Being able to bring in experts using private notes without making the actual email messy is really valuable.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Would be better with stronger connection to our ERP system's cost modules - right now we manually check between systems.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our costing accuracy has gotten better because we're using everyone's knowledge instead of working alone. We're answering operations' costing questions much faster now, which helps with pricing decisions and responding to bids.

  ### 18. Shared Inboxes and @Mentions Make Client Communication Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhupesh C. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The ability to organize client communications by account using shared inboxes is fantastic.I can jump between different client folders and immediately see the full history and current status of conversations. The @mention system for pulling in specialists (like our technical team or billing department) directly in email threads has streamlined our response process tremendously.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Sometimes when multiple people are collaborating on a draft, it can get a little confusing tracking who made which edits, though the comment system helps with that.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our main challenge was context-switching between different client accounts and losing track of conversations when colleagues were unavailable. Missive centralized everything and made our entire client communication history searchable and accessible to the whole account team.

  ### 19. Efficient way to manage team emails and stay organized.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The best part about Missive is how it centralizes team communication in one place. Being able to assign emails, add internal notes, and track conversations makes it much easier to manage the workload, stay aligned as a team, and avoid duplicated effort.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Some of the more advanced features take a bit of time to get used to, and the reporting side could provide deeper insights and feel more informative overall.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps reduce confusion about who owns each email and improves response times by keeping everything organized, structured, and clearly visible to the whole team.

  ### 20. Missive Makes Email Linking and Snoozing Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessandra V. | Logistics Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I really like that you can easily link emails to others. I use Missive daily with my work. I like the Snooze email function, which helps to manage my inbox easily. It was easy to integrate with my business.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The only dislike is that I am not able to create a table within an email, or if I copy a table from an Excel spreadsheet, I cannot edit it either.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inbox management. With the functions of snoozing and labelling emails, I can finish tasks on time and easily find emails.

  ### 21. The backbone of our communication, just waiting for its own AI evolution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barry K. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

What I like best about Missive is how it brings structure and logic to what would otherwise be chaos. It’s not just an inbox; it’s an operational layer that connects communication, automation, and collaboration in one clean interface.

As a social media agency managing dozens of brand accounts, we use Missive as the backbone of our entire DM and comment management system. It integrates seamlessly with Make.com and allows us to automate classification, reply generation, FAQ extraction, influencer vetting, and even spam filtering, all while keeping the human touch intact.

The shared inbox setup, message assignment, and internal comments make teamwork feel natural and transparent. It’s one of the few tools that scales with complexity instead of breaking under it.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Missive has an incredibly strong foundation, it’s stable, intuitive, and powerful enough to handle complex team communication. The only thing I’d love to see evolve is its own AI capabilities.

Right now, we build most of our automation and AI layers externally through Make.com, which works great, but it would be amazing if Missive had more native AI tools for message classification, auto-replies, or workflow suggestions directly inside the platform.

The structure is already there, if Missive expanded its AI side, it could easily become the ultimate communication hub for agencies like ours.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive solves the chaos of multi-account communication. As an agency managing dozens of client inboxes, social DMs, and automations, we needed one place where everything comes together, and Missive does that flawlessly.

It lets our team collaborate in real time without losing context, tag or assign conversations instantly, and integrate custom workflows through Make.com. That means no endless Slack messages, no duplicate replies, and no lost leads.

It’s also the foundation for our AI agents that handle classification, auto-replies, and FAQ generation. Without Missive, we’d be juggling 20 tools. With it, we have one reliable structure that keeps our operation fast, transparent, and scalable.

  ### 22. Simple Yet Powerful—Seamless Integrations, Impressive Updates, and Clear Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Designed for simplicity, yet packed with advanced settings and seamless integrations for those who need them. The developers are constantly rolling out impressive updates, all backed by a support system that translates complex technical help into language anyone can understand.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I’ve always used browser-based email, but Missive is in a league of its own. The client performance is incredibly smooth and while syncing can sometimes take a moment (whether that’s Missive or the integration itself), the overall experience is flawless.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The team inboxes and collaboration features are pure genius. The design is so intuitive that it completely removes the friction usually found in shared workflows.

  ### 23. Effortless Team Communication and Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharon B. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I like the ability to communicate with my team on a thread and keep it together so all the information is right there to refer back to.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The only thing I can think of is that you can't move a conversation only thread to a label/folder. Other than that, I have not dislikes about Missive.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive solves the problem of having multiple software for communication in one place. You don't have to have a seperate app for chats and emails, it is all in Missive. It is so helpful when you have an email subject that you are going back and forth on and you can merge them in one thread and communicate with your team right there, and label it accordingly. It has kept our emails organized for sure.

  ### 24. Tagging and Task Features Make Collaboration Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marina F. | Quality Assurance Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The fact that I can tag people into the conversation is the best feature for me. I also like to have separated things that are more general and others that are assigned just to me. I also enjoy the Task feature, so I can remember to do something by a certain due date.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

It's not as easy to find threads of conversation as in Gmail, for example. Sometimes I have to cross Missive with Gmail to go exactly to that email that is older. I also get confused when there's (1) new notification and it takes me some time to find where this is (for example, "hidden" in the Rooms section or in other sections that I don't use often).

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easier to collaborate on emails and tagging people on certain topics is the main problem that it is solving for me.

  ### 25. Love the Rules: Turning Email Off During Set Hours

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I love the rules. I am honestly paying a lot of money almost exclusively because I love the ability to "turn my email off" during set hours.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The cost. It's very expensive and I'm not using 99% of the features. They require you to register at the Pro level just for access to rules. The creators very kindly explained why -- and I do get it, it's just expensive, that's all.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, I love that I can shut my email off and have it "hide" my messages until the next work day. There's a bit of a learning curve setting everything up and I wish it were easier to test run email rules/settings, but I think I have a handle on everything. I also really wish Notion was integrated, but I have a workaround for now.

  ### 26. Personal Tags in Missive: A Game-Changer for Email Organization and Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan T. | Sales person, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I've been using Missive for several months now, and one of the features that has truly transformed the way I handle my inbox is personal tags. This functionality allows me to organize my emails in a way that makes sense to me, without affecting how my team members see or manage the same conversations.

The flexibility of creating custom tags for specific projects, priorities, or follow-ups has made my workflow much more efficient. I can instantly filter my inbox based on these tags, which saves me a lot of time and mental effort. Whether it's labeling emails for "Urgent", "Read Later", or "Client Feedback", I now have a clear overview of what needs attention and when.

I especially appreciate that these tags are personal, meaning they don’t clutter up the shared team space. It’s a simple but powerful feature that helps me stay focused and organized in a collaborative environment.

Overall, personal tags in Missive are a small detail that makes a big difference. Highly recommended for anyone looking to gain more control over their email workflow!

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I’ve been using Missive for a while now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best email and team communication tools I’ve worked with. The interface is clean and intuitive, and the combination of email, chat, and task management in one platform makes it incredibly efficient for daily use.

One of the standout features for me is how smooth collaboration is — shared inboxes, internal comments on emails, and real-time chat make working with a team feel effortless. It’s also highly customizable, with features like personal tags, rules, and integrations that fit perfectly into different workflows.

So far, I haven’t come across any real downsides or areas that need improvement. Everything works reliably, and the platform feels well thought-out in both design and functionality. It's clear the team behind Missive has put a lot of care into building a product that truly supports productivity.

Highly recommended for both individuals and teams looking for a better way to manage email and communication.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the features I really appreciate in Missive is the ability to tag colleagues directly in email conversations. It’s such a simple yet powerful way to collaborate without the need to constantly forward emails back and forth.

Instead of cluttering inboxes with repeated forwards, I can just tag a teammate in a comment within the thread, add context if needed, and they instantly have access to the full conversation. It keeps everything in one place, reduces confusion, and saves a lot of time.

This feature has definitely made internal communication much more efficient for our team.

  ### 27. Missive: Excellent Communication Hub with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bud H. | Manager of IT and Tech Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive is an excellent central communication tool, especially if you have multiple remote team members who need to communicate not only within their own department but also with other departments. Keeping all threads and chats together has saved us a great deal of confusion and eliminated the need to search for information in different places.

The tech support team is outstanding—they are quick to address outages and bugs that occasionally arise. They respond promptly and will either help resolve the issue or work with you to find a workaround until a permanent fix is available.

Overall, it’s a fantastic team and product.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Our dislikes about Missive are relatively minor, such as the challenge of avoiding duplicate emails or creating rules that might conflict with each other. Additionally, features like the ability to pin emails to the top of the inbox would be incredibly helpful for keeping teams organized and ensuring important information is easily accessible. Another improvement we would appreciate is a way to "ping" or "@" specific departments. For instance, if operations needs to inform sales of a change, it would be great to have a way to notify them directly within the platform.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate not having to juggle multiple inboxes across different tabs, as it allows me to keep all relevant information within a single thread. This way, I don't need to switch to Teams or GChat to find what I need.

  ### 28. A Reliable Tool for Organized Team Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter M. | CRO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive has been a very solid addition to our daily workflow. We communicate with clients frequently and in high volume, and the shared inbox setup helps everyone access the information they need without confusion. Conversations are transparent, tasks can be assigned easily, and teams stay aligned without relying on endless forwards or CCs.

From a management point of view, I appreciate the clear overview of what’s happening across the team. It’s easy to track who’s handling which client or topic, and the collaboration inside emails keeps context intact.

The support and product teams are responsive and open to suggestions. Many small improvements we needed were discussed directly with them, which makes the tool feel continuously refined.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

There isn’t much to criticize. Some interface elements could be a bit smoother, and a few features still have room for polish, but nothing that gets in the way of daily use. Overall, Missive helps us keep communication structured and transparent. It’s reliable, practical, and well-suited for teams that deal with shared client communication on a daily basis.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive helps us manage high-volume client communication as a team. Before, emails were scattered across individual inboxes, making it hard to track conversations, delegate tasks, or keep everyone informed. With Missive, all client messages are shared and transparent - anyone can see the context, collaborate, or take over when needed.

It also gives me, as a manager, a clear overview of ongoing conversations and workload distribution. This improves response times, reduces duplication, and keeps our communication consistent and professional.

  ### 29. Impeccable real-time collaboration and clean interface, excellent value for money

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Real-time collaboration is the absolute strength: being able to work on the same email with colleagues, assign conversations, and add internal notes has eliminated dozens of unnecessary messages on other channels. The interface is clean and the learning curve is surprisingly low. Excellent value for money compared to similar alternatives.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The mobile app could be further optimized for some advanced features. Nothing blocking, but there is room for improvement compared to the desktop version.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Missive, the team's emails were forwarded, duplicated among personal inboxes, or lost in chat threads without clear accountability. Missive solved all this with shared inboxes, internal comments, and conversation assignments. The immediate benefit was a reduction in response times to customers and a much more organized workflow — every team member knows what requires attention and who is handling it.

  ### 30. A game changer for team communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** burak f. | Senior Staff Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive truly transforms email management into real teamwork. With the shared inbox feature, my team and I can easily collaborate on the same threads. Having emails, tasks, and chat all in one place means nothing gets lost. Especially for client communications, Missive has made our workflow far more organized and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Overall, I’m extremely satisfied, but the mobile app can sometimes feel less smooth compared to the desktop experience. Also, having more examples or guides for advanced automation rules would make it easier for new users to get started quickly.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive has solved one of our biggest challenges — managing team communication around shared emails. Before using it, messages were scattered across individual inboxes and Slack threads, making it hard to track decisions or follow up with clients. With Missive, everything happens in one organized place. It allows us to discuss emails internally, assign tasks, and respond faster without losing context. This has dramatically improved our collaboration, accountability, and overall response time to clients.

  ### 31. Missive is great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David L. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive has greatly enhanced our previously outdated process of forwarding email chains throughout our organization. The implementation of Missive initially required some effort, as the majority of our team were regular or power users of standard email software, but now no one would want to go back.

Missive’s support team is very proactive and helped us throughout the setup and maintenance process. They also offer the option to schedule calls to closely examine any issues, which I greatly appreciate.

Our team uses Missive daily, 24/5, and so far it has helped us eliminate unnecessary time sinks that we previously experienced.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

There are no major gripes; Just a few features that I, as an admin, would personally find helpful, such as seeing relationships between active rules and having the ability to perform test runs.

From the feedback I’ve received, the majority of people would simply like to be able to change certain aspects of the interface, but that’s about it.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication clarity which in turn cuts down on time spent on communication.

  ### 32. Perfect for managing multiple client accounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manya M. | Financial Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The ability to organize client communications by account using shared inboxes is fantastic. I can jump between different client folders and immediately see the full history and current status of conversations. Color-coded labels help me prioritize urgent client needs at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The reporting dashboard could offer more granular insights - I'd love to track metrics like average first response time per client or conversation volume trends.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive centralized everything and made our entire client communication history searchable and accessible to the whole account team. This means clients get consistent service regardless of who they reach. We've also reduced our response times because team members can jump in and help when someone's overloaded. The transparency has improved our internal coordination significantly.

  ### 33. Elevates Collaboration and Keeps Teams on Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konstantinos M. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

It truly elevates collaboration. Their newest update with tasks is awsesome, it has resulting in our company to never miss or forget an email.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Pricing plans do not really cover companies that are scaling slowly like our company. We are in the middle of expanding our team, we are currently 5-6 members and pricing for 5+ members is rocketing. Something our slow sclaling can not support. Also, we do not need most of the features on the Productive plan and we will have to upgrade only because of the seats limit.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since we are a 360 digital agency, department collaboration is key. With shared inboxes, asignees and teams, our company can handle incoming requests, tickets, questions and handle support hustle-free. It is truly great. At the end of the day it saves everyone useful time.

  ### 34. Useful for coordinating product costing inquires Centralized Cost Discussions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gopi K. | Accounting Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The ability to loop in subject matter experts using internal comments without cluttering the external message is invaluable. I appreciate that I can see all cost-related discussions in one place rather than scattered across departmental silos. The file sharing works well for exchanging costing spreadsheets and supporting documentation.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The attachment handling could be more sophisticated for large Excel files with multiple costing scenarios

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The attachment handling could be more sophisticated for large Excel files with multiple costing scenarios

  ### 35. Easy Team Email Discussions with Organized Conversation Threads

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I really like being able to discuss emails with my teammates via chat and organize the relevant topics by conversation thread.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The search tool could be much better. It is very difficult to find conversations that are no longer active or past emails. There is definitely room for improvement in this area, and I believe it could be enhanced.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive helps us organize the matters that need to move forward and also communicate with the teams more quickly about them through the chats. It therefore improves response time and also enhances communication for resolving each of the matters that need to be addressed.

  ### 36. Missive Unifies Email, Chat, and Workflows for Seamless Daily Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

We use Missive daily for customer support and internal coordination. The combination of email, chat and workflow management in one platform works extremely well for our team.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Search works well overall, but occasionally it can take a bit longer to find older conversations across multiple inboxes.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive helps us keep all customer communication centralized and transparent. This is especially valuable for teamwork and maintaining a professional customer experience.

  ### 37. Projects stay organized despite email chaos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shikha P. | Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Getting all project emails into one unified system is a total game changer. Switching between projects is easy, I can turn emails into tasks right away, and team discussions stay completely hidden from client view.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Integration options need expanding - several tools we use daily still don't connect directly. Left sidebar also gets messy fast when you're managing many shared inboxes

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reviewing client emails as a team before sending has genuinely improved our professionalism. Response times got better, coordination is tighter, and clients have actually mentioned how much smoother things feel now.

  ### 38. Great for our small team needs and managing a growing and varied task list.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah T. | co-founder and co-director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

What I appreciate most about Missive is how it allows us to share and assign emails as tasks seamlessly. We can discuss specific details related to an email directly within the thread, eliminating the need to start a separate conversation. Additionally, the pricing fits our needs well, as we get all the necessary features without being forced into a higher, more expensive tier.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I wish the task feature would display due dates and reminders more prominently, similar to how dedicated to-do list apps like TickTick do. Since reminders aren't prioritized as notifications, I often overlook them, which leads me to use the due date function less frequently than I otherwise might.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform enables us to bring together all our different customer touchpoints, whether they are prospective audience members, ticket holders, students, or part of our expanding community. Additionally, it makes it easy for us to determine which team member is most suited to respond to specific messages and assign them accordingly.

  ### 39. The Best Tool for Executive Assistants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriella R. | Engagement Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I’ve been using Missive for the past 7 months as a virtual executive assistant, and it has been an absolute game changer. The ability to see all emails coming into my boss’s multiple accounts in one place has made managing communication so much easier. The integration with Todoist is a huge plus, it allows me to seamlessly keep track of tasks and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.

One of my favorite features is the ability to draft emails collaboratively in real time. This makes the review and approval process smooth and efficient, saving us a lot of back-and-forth. Overall, Missive has significantly improved both my productivity and my boss’s workflow. I can’t recommend it enough, especially for assistants or teams managing complex inboxes

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike. If I had to point out something, it would be that the mobile app could feel a bit limited compared to the desktop version, especially when managing multiple inboxes or long threads. It still works well but having a few more advanced features on mobile would make it better.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive is helping me centralize communication and task management in a way that no other tool has. Before, I had to constantly switch between different inboxes, task managers, and draft documents, which was time-consuming and easy to lose track of. With Missive, I can manage all of my boss’s email accounts in one place, collaborate on drafts in real time, and directly connect emails to Todoist tasks.

  ### 40. Missive works great for our fast-growing startup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian D. | Co-Founder and CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

We love the configurability and API integration options. Missive’s unique flexibility and integration capabilities allow us to centrally manage AI-assisted communications with clients across multiple channels, including email, Facebook/Instagram, Whatsapp, SMS, and even our own website chatbot and app. The support team is excellent too: when we needed an API adjustment, they responded quickly with an API update that helped us integrate Missive even more seamlessly into our larger tech ecosystem.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Nothing to dislike - just a note that as your company grows, you’ll likely still pair Missive with other specialized tools like ticketing or sales systems. Also, with so many configuration options, new users may need a little time upfront to set up their ideal workflows.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive centralizes all our client communications—email, social media, and chat—into one place, enabling faster responses, smoother collaboration, and AI-assisted workflows. This reduces context-switching, improves team efficiency, and helps us deliver a more consistent client experience.

  ### 41. Missive Makes Email, Chat, and Team Collaboration Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chantal S. | administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I’ve had a great experience using Missive so far. It’s incredibly user-friendly and makes managing emails, chats, and team collaboration so much easier in one place.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

One aspect I found slightly challenging with Missive is the initial learning curve.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive is solving the problem of scattered communication and lack of team visibility.

  ### 42. Missive Supercharges Team Productivity with Customizable, Intuitive Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom S. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive simply works—it’s an email client that provides an intuitive answer to the challenges of shared productivity and customer success. Its high level of customisability has let us adapt it perfectly to our needs. After just one month, it has already sped up our team’s workflows, helped us identify and resolve issues, and allowed us to automate excellent service.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

We initially found the distinction between archiving and closing confusing.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive has enabled us to centralize our service operations within a single software platform. We no longer have to juggle separate tools for task management, emails, and communication threads. Now, everything is organized in one place, making it much easier for our team to monitor and improve our customer communications.

  ### 43. Useful for managing equipment purchase emails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sogan P. | Assistant Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Fixed asset accounting means coordinating with purchasing, operations, and vendors about buying equipment, getting rid of old items, and moving things around. Missive puts all these cross-department conversations in one place so I can track asset-related emails easily. The shared inbox means my backup can answer vendor questions about asset paperwork when I'm out.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Connection with our fixed asset management system would stop the need to manually match asset tags between platforms. The file organization could be more visual when dealing with equipment photos and documents.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Number of Features, Ease of Integration, Ease of Use

  ### 44. Makes handling employee expenses easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priya T. | Senior Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Managing employee expense reimbursements means handling hundreds of receipt submissions, policy questions, and approval requests. Missive keeps our small team organized during busy travel times when submissions increase a lot.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Connection with our expense management software would stop duplicate entry when talking about specific claims.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, expense questions went to individual team members' emails, creating different policy answers and delayed reimbursements. Missive put everything in one place and made sure we give the same answers. Employee satisfaction with the reimbursement process has improved a lot - they get faster answers and consistent information.

  ### 45. Excellent ClickUp integration streamlines task delegation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacinta H. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

As an operations manager, Missive's ClickUp integration has been a game-changer. I can instantly convert emails into tasks and tickets for our team without leaving the inbox - just a click and it's assigned. This has eliminated the manual copying between platforms we used to do. The shared inbox lets us collaborate on responses whilst tracking who's handling what.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Would be great to have more training videos on how to use the platform or a training knowledge centre with case studies on how other businesses are using Missive. This would help new team members onboard faster and ensure we're maximising all available features. More real-world examples of workflow setups and automation strategies from similar operations teams would be particularly valuable.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive has eliminated the time-consuming process of manually copying emails into ClickUp. With one-click task creation, I can instantly assign work to team members without leaving the inbox. This has halved our response times and stopped tasks falling through the cracks. The shared inbox gives full visibility on who's handling what, removing the guesswork and forwarding chains. We've shifted from email chaos to an organised workflow where task assignment is instant and nothing gets missed.

  ### 46. Smooth Team Collaboration with Threaded Comments

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive is pretty easy to learn and use, which I really appreciate. I also like how it lets teams collaborate - being able to leave comments right on email threads makes everything feel more organized and keeps communication flowing naturally.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Since Missive is so customizable, you do have to spend some time to dial in your settings -otherwise it’s easy to miss comments you’re tagged in.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive helps keep everyone accountable for the work coming into the office, and it makes it really easy for teams to collaborate on issues or projects - something we haven’t really had in place before.

Flexible API and AI rules, and it works well when running multiple companies. It’s also easy for staff to pick up, and the ability to comment directly under emails is a real game changer.

A little pricey, but relative to the value it brings.

**Reviewed by:** Alok k. | Senior Financial Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Being able to bring in experts using private comments without making the actual email messy is really valuable. I appreciate seeing all cost-related discussions in one spot instead of spread across different department inboxes. File sharing works well for sending costing spreadsheets and supporting documents.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The attachment handling could be better for large Excel files with multiple costing scenarios.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our costing accuracy has improved because we're using everyone's knowledge instead of working alone. We're answering operations' costing questions much faster now, which helps with pricing decisions and responding to bids.

**Reviewed by:** Prince D. | Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Having all our project emails in one organized place is a big help. I can jump between different projects, turn emails into tasks right away, and keep team chat separate from what clients see.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Needs to connect with more tools - some apps we use daily don't link up yet. Also, the sidebar gets messy when you're managing lots of shared inboxes.

Working on client emails together before sending has made us look more professional. We reply faster, work better together, and clients have actually mentioned things run smoother now.

Switching between projects is seamless, I can convert emails into action items on the
spot, and team discussions stay completely hidden from client view.

Integration catalog needs expanding - several tools we rely on daily still lack direct
connections. Left sidebar also gets cluttered fast when you're juggling numerous shared
inboxes.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reviewing client emails as a team before sending has genuinely raised our professional game.
Response times improved, coordination is tighter, and clients have actually called out how much
smoother things feel now.
