As an Agile Coach, what I like most about Miro is the flexibility. What I like the least is that there are still some features missing to facilitate the maintenance of large boards. For example, it would be very useful to be able to automatically update the same information in multiple places on the board at the same time, avoiding repetitive manual edits. There is consistent updates that improve the performance, including developing AI that make creating effective products easy. All it takes is selecting the data and giving the prompt for Miro to takeover. As of late, it has been running a lot slower - text is delayed when typing, sometimes the screen will freeze and be unworkable, etc. Previously we only had this issue with large groups working in a large board, but now I can be at home and in a call with one other person and it is lagging and causing confusion or rework when things aren't working. The table feature could also use improvement. being able to customize and add visualization tools would enhance this feature and make it more effective for our uses. It would be helpful to be able to access boards across all spaces more easily, even when we’re editing within a specific space. I love how Miro's themes make meetings more engaging and less mundane, especially since agile ceremonies can be repetitive. The Miroverse templates allow us to experiment with different themes like movies and travel destinations, gamifying our sessions and significantly increasing team engagement during retrospectives. We went from only three participants to consistently getting feedback from eleven to fifteen people. Miro's interactive nature and collaboration capabilities are fantastic, allowing everyone to participate by sharing feedback with various fonts and themes. The polling feature is really helpful too. Introducing Miro to my team was a breeze; it's intuitive and easy to use, even across language barriers. I find the integration with Azure DevOps challenging. It's difficult because we have to transfer everything manually into Miro, including creating stickies one by one. It would be great if there was an easier way to bulk import or better integration. Also, I feel like there could be more themes available for retros and sessions, as I might have used a lot of them already, so now my options feel limited and repetitive. We're a creative digital consultancy that has been using Miro for over five years now. It started as a place to do digital post-its and brainstorms, but now with all the integrations it's become a core part of our workflow (and we've brought our clients along for the ride). The templates are super helpful from respected sources - we've even made some branded templates for our own internal use. Most importantly, we've been able to get all our team members working in one place, including external clients and partners.

We use the boards so heavily, sometimes if we copy paste many high-res images and have many people (dozens) on at once, it can get a bit laggy... but we're power-users, so that's an extreme situation.

Easy for anyone to get started using the basics, but also more complex features available if you want them. Makes it easy to visualise and share ideas in a collaborative space.

I've found the data tables particularly useful to be able to show the same data in multiple different views, and knowing that if I make an update to one it will sync with all the others - a big bugbear of mine is having to make the same update in multiple places so this has been a huge time saver and helped us keep things consistent! I like that you can hide and show different fields and filter the view depending on what you're using it for or who you're presenting it to, so it doesn't feel overwhelming even if you've got loads of data in there (unlike a spreadsheet which quickly becomes messy and overwhelming). I've used data tables to keep track of requirements and user needs, create user story maps, plan sprints, keep track of my to-do items.

I also like that when you copy any frame, not just data tables, you get the option to sync to the original - it makes it easy to display the same information/visuals in multiple places while still retaining a 'master' version.

I enjoyed the AI prototyping feature when it was available to us, but our organisation opted not to pay for the feature long term. Other than that, I'e not really used the AI features.

As a service designer/UCD specialist, I'm not sure I could do mom job without Miro. I use it every single day in some capacity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One downside that I have noticed is that if you have a few large data tables on a board (or copies of a data table with different views), it can significantly slow the board down and make it difficult to move around or add to the table. In some cases we've had to create a separate board just to house the main data table, and then copied in a view to a specific board when we need it.

I've also tried the layers feature a few times which has been helpful to an extent, but we've found that the more layers we add, the less reliable it becomes. We've found that content sometimes randomly moves from a layer back to the default layer or just disappears altogether. In one project we wasted significant amounts of time trying to find out where bits of content were supposed to be and moving them back to the correct layer (sometimes this would happen every couple of days, so not just a one-off issue). It's also not particularly easy to find layers and not clear at a glance when layers have been used - so if someone in the team comes to a board that hasn't worked extensively on that project, they may miss content if they don't know its hidden in a layer.

Within the data tables, it would be easier if there was a way to bulk apply /bulk copy a field selection across multiple rows (i.e I have 20 rows that I want to add a new 'to do' tag to - currently the only way seems to be to go through them one by one and select 'to do'. It would be easier if there was a way to apply this to multiple rows at once (a bit like in excel how you can update one and then drag the corner of the cell down to copy into the next rows) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Miro to develop ideas and organize thoughts. I think it's like an online whiteboard that helps me visualize problems and ideas, allowing me to write and organize them clearly using blocks, arrows, and text. I think the usability of Miro could be improved. Although many elements are available, the ease of using them and the way they are presented to the public could be clearer. It would be helpful to have examples of how to use them and a clearer and more organic introduction on how Miro works and what it can be used for. I use Miro for teaching students the GMAT and GRE, and it really helps me annotate and diagram text. I also like using it to show tables and graphs, plus it handles calculations related to word problems quite well. It's great that it's scalable, offering endless space, and it's easy to change colors, which keeps the sessions lively for my students. The evergreen links are particularly valuable as students can revisit them anytime for review. The basic functionality is simple and all the features I need are easy to access. It would be nice on the free plan if the downloads were in higher resolution because they're purposefully low res. I think that's kind of like a cheap thing, but I don't pay for Miro, so I understand. Maybe having email capabilities to send the board directly from Miro to a student would be beneficial. Miro makes visual collaboration easy. It gives teams one shared space to brainstorm, organize ideas, map out workflows and provide feedback in real time.
