## Miro Reviews
  ### 1. Miro Makes Collaboration and UX Workshops Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Summer A. | Product Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Miro is amazing for collaboration, great with workshops, and the syncing tool is also great. The templates are really helpful, the way that you can host meetings and update work together as well as running tasks and challenged it's great. Great for doing UX flows to understand user journeys and visualise user behaviours and mindsets. I think the support is great, and the updates via email are helpful. I have used the AI tool quite a few times to collate and summarise data and that has saved me time for sure.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I think in the past tables have been changed by other people because they're synced - can we have a more obvious warning when things are being edited? Maybe edit history would be good too.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro is helping solve my efficiency of work and wireframing at low fidelity. It is also helping me host design thinking workshops with UX/UI and Engineering peers. It's helping me collate data. And also helps to visualise my work in a way that peers outside of design can understand better. Previous to me using this, I was using a lot of Microsoft software for collaborative work and honestly it was inefficient, and not engaging. The tool has helped me to perform better at work, with less effort. The AI tool is fast and in general even the biggest heaviest Miro boards are still ok in terms of speed and and feedback. It's integrated with Slack which makes it easy to reference.

  ### 2. Versatile Tool for Collaborative Problem Solving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrei M. | Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I use Miro for capturing problems across different product surfaces, and it really shines during brainstorms, retros, and planning sessions when trying to build coherent views across teams. I love the ease of pasting images, creating shapes, and editing them to denote various relationships and information. It’s also relatively easy to share with others. The platform feels 'unlimited' in how much I can create and expand the view, and the UI is friendly and easy to manipulate. Additionally, the connection with Jira, especially the two data binding, works well.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I wish it was a bit clearer or easier to view when certain objects had been grouped together. You kind of need to click and play around to figure out that some items are grouped. I wish there was a way where I could press a button and view the linked object so I could figure out if I needed to break some things apart. I also wish there were nicer templates and icons. Right now to me the templates are a little bit ugly, and I tend to use the same few simple shapes and icons for my tasks. I'd also love to have better theming of objects. I sometimes want to use our company's brand colors but that doesn't seem to be solved as a problem.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Miro to capture and visualize complex problems and facilitate alignment across teams. It helps in building coherent views and makes images that communicate effectively. It's also useful for brainstorms, retros, and planning sessions.

  ### 3. Miro’s Collaborative Canvas and AI Sidekicks Keep Our Brainstorms Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darshan B. | UX/UI Design Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The infinite collaborative canvas is by far my favourite feature, because it really helps my team come together and brainstorm using sticky notes.

Additionally, now that they’ve introduced AI features like the User Persona Generator and user feedback-to-insights, it’s been really helpful for our product design team to generate quick insights.

Recently, they also introduced the sidekicks, which we’re using to summarize the board and keep it organized.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I don’t think there’s anything our team doesn’t like, since we’ve been using Miro for years. That said, with the new AI features coming in, we do need to spend some time understanding how to leverage them so they actually make our workflow more effective.

Sometimes I also feel the zoom in/out is a bit too fast for me, but I’m getting used to it.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled to turn competitor analyses into actionable insights, but Miro’s AI feature helped by summarizing the discussion, generating ideas, identifying common themes and patterns, and organizing everything in one place. This reduced our team’s manual effort and saved around 20–30% of our planning time.

  ### 4. A great collaboration tool that allow us to apply simplicity on a daily basis.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorival M. | Sr Technical Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The best part is the possibility to share the board and other person can edit, paste sticky notes, change and review. This feature is very usefull to remote teams.
Another part that is very good is the integrations. In the printscreen I shared users can see Miro interacting with Jira and to me is very helpful.
I also asked to Miro AI to organize the tickets for me, and this board was created in less than 1 minute, increasing my performance a lot!

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

The only part that’s a bit confusing is when colleagues try to access my board for the first time: they sometimes have trouble finding it, even when using the link provided.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is being used to acquire many ideas, sprint retrospectives, and even some personal plans like certification study.
I'm using Miro to run new projects from scratch, capturing Ideas, scope and timeline.
Then I can easily present visually and move to my roadmap and communicate with my stakeholders.

  ### 5. Miro helps us stay on track!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim A. | eLearning Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Miro?**

It's really handy having a collaborative space that is easily accessed from anywhere. We use it as a reference guide that anyone can update. Also as a way to create and share storyboards for passing work between teams. Even as a place to create fun onboarding spaces.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Sometimes intricate diagrams get a bit finnicky, but it's mostly when pushing it to its limits. The mouse wheel changing between zooming and scrolling can be a bit annoying too. A large board can take anywhere from 1-3GB of RAM, so you might need a decent machine for complex boards. Haven't really used the AI in it to its full potential.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a handy place for our subject-matter experts to create storyboards for us - the comments are really useful to tag people to flag issues. Makes it easy for multiple people to be able to edit the same board and not worry about the underlying software.

Having one collaborative space to keep track of our weekly tasks each sprint. It's easier to organise our sprints in Miro than it is in Jira! Then we sync the changes over to Jira.

It's also useful to have an easy to update reference guide to keep track of our protocols - for ourselves and for onboarding.

  ### 6. Real-Time Collaboration That Makes Process Mapping Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis C. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I love how many people can be working on the diagram (edit) at one time and seeing everyone's changes happening on the diagram. Honestly, I am falling asleep right now, literally melting into my couch pillows. It allows me to make actual color choices for the blocks. The new software makes it easy to get our simple process maps out of our heads.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

You have to pay extra for most of your important database icons. Sometimes when you create a very large diagram, the board will freeze. I'm sitting here staring at the screen zoning out searching through the menu for specific icon shapes and it seems like an eternity. If you copy/paste a huge flow chart from Miro into Word Document, it becomes extremely fuzzy/blurred.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily, it provides a way for us to visually demonstrate a business process using pictures rather than having to write lengthy explanations. My team can also work collaboratively on it simultaneously and so we don't send each other files all day and also, it reduces headaches of explaining technical aspects to our clients.

  ### 7. Miro’s PlantUML Feature Makes Diagramming Fast and Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yugal K. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I like Miro's PlantUML diagram feature the most. I use it a lot because I can quickly create clear diagrams from simple text. It helps me plan system architecture, workflows and project designs without spending time drawing everything manually. Yes, I think Miro is worth the price, especially if you work with a team. The collaboration features, easy diagramming, and shared workspace save time and reduce unnecessary meetings. Yes, I think Miro is worth the price, especially if you work with a team. **What do you dislike about Miro?**

One thing I dislike is that PlantUML diagrams cannot be edited after they are created. If I want to make changes, I have to save the PlantUML code somewhere else and then edit that code and generate the diagram again instead of editing the diagram directly.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro helps my team collaborate in one shared workspace where everyone can see ideas, diagrams, and designs in real time. This makes it much easier to discuss system architecture and project planning. Because everything is visual and shared, we spend less time in meetings explaining designs and more time building them.

  ### 8. A Creative, Fast Digital Storyboarding Platform with Convenient Drag-and-Drop

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole Q. | Architectural Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I like how the platform allows for creativity to draw, type a sticky note, etc., it's taking real-life storyboarding and allowing it to be digital, and for remote working and changing. I think it performs well, too. It doesn't take long to load, even with a heavy board, and the drag-and-drop interface is really convenient.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Pricing, I don't like that some features are paid subscriptions or that there is a cap on how many free boards you are allowed to have. I also think its use of AI for creating isn't very strong, it is good for admin tasks but not for creation of new tables etc

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes my workflow much faster, and I enjoy that I can bring Miro with me anywhere, on my phone, laptop, or iPad. It's accessible on all platforms and solves the issue of doing physical story boards that can get bulky because of pens, paper, notesbooks sticky notes but with Miro the interfae has everything

  ### 9. Intuitive Collaboration That Makes Workshops Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mugisha p. | Full Stack Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

What I like best about Miro is how it blends an intuitive interface with genuinely powerful collaboration. The infinite canvas, extensive template library, and smooth drag-and-drop experience make it easy to run brainstorming sessions, workshops, process mapping, and project planning without spending much time on setup. The platform feels thoughtfully designed, so even new users can get up to speed quickly and start contributing.

Real-time collaboration is where Miro really shines. Multiple participants can work on the same board at once using sticky notes, comments, voting, and other interactive features, which keeps meetings engaging and helps teams align faster. I’ve also found it to be reliable in practice, even when several people are actively working in the same space.

Miro integrates well with tools such as Jira, Slack, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace, which makes it easier to connect visual collaboration to existing workflows instead of constantly switching between applications. The AI features have also become increasingly useful for organizing content, summarizing discussions, and speeding up brainstorming, saving time during workshops.

My onboarding experience was excellent, too. Through the Miro Ambassador program, I had access to structured onboarding courses and practical learning resources that helped me understand both the platform itself and best practices for facilitating collaborative sessions.

From a value perspective, Miro offers flexible pricing that can scale from individuals and small teams to large enterprises. The free plan is generous enough to explore the platform, while the paid plans unlock features such as unlimited boards, advanced collaboration tools, AI capabilities, and enterprise administration. For teams that rely on visual collaboration regularly, the productivity gains and time saved during planning and workshops can deliver a strong return on investment.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

While Miro is very powerful, very large and content-heavy boards can occasionally feel overwhelming to navigate and may experience slight performance slowdowns. New users can also need a little time to become familiar with all of the available features because the platform offers so much functionality.

Finally, some advanced features and AI capabilities are limited to higher-tier plans, so smaller teams may not have access to everything without upgrading.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro solves the challenge of keeping teams aligned when collaborating on ideas, projects, and planning. Instead of using several different tools, everyone can work together in one shared visual workspace, whether they are remote, hybrid, or in the office.

It has made brainstorming, workshop facilitation, and project planning much more efficient. Features like templates, real-time collaboration, and AI-assisted organization help reduce preparation time and keep meetings focused and engaging.

For me, the biggest benefit is better collaboration and faster decision-making. Teams can easily share ideas, give feedback, and organize information in one place, which improves communication and leads to more productive workshops and stronger outcomes.

  ### 10. Powerful, versatile, simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James B. | Lead Quality Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Simplicity - it's very easy to get up and running immediately, the interface is simple and intuitive enough to hit the ground running
Versatility - you can use it for nearly anything - presentations, virtual meetings, brainstorm sessions, marketing. It can be an easily navigable repository for project information. If you can imagine how something can be visually represented, Mira can do it
Collaboration - you have control of how collaborative your boards are. Full inclusion of others, view only, no access - you decide and you control it.
I use it daily, often one of the first apps I open each day, as it contains all my thoughts, notes, plans for my projects.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Occasionally if I get overzealous when navigating, the "select and drag" tool doesn't let go of the board, and I end up jumping to another section of the board. This is probably 99% my own error. If I release the mouse button before the mouse goes off screen, it doesn't happen. Like I said - it's when I'm overzealous navigating to another section of the board.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My primary benefit for it has been my ability to use Miro to clearly and simply represent the various aspects of projects.
I use it heavily for team problem solving, as well as for process optimization. I have used it to clarify key features of our products which facilitates clarity and ease of use for my downstream internal customers.
I have also used it to highlight process risks and mitigation of those risks (FMEA) in a way that allows a complex process and system to be grasped in a simple manner
