I love the ease of pasting images, creating shapes, and editing them to denote various relationships and information. It’s also relatively easy to share with others. The platform feels 'unlimited' in how much I can create and expand the view, and the UI is friendly and easy to manipulate. Additionally, the connection with Jira, especially the two data binding, works well. **What do you dislike about Miro?** I wish it was a bit clearer or easier to view when certain objects had been grouped together. You kind of need to click and play around to figure out that some items are grouped. I wish there was a way where I could press a button and view the linked object so I could figure out if I needed to break some things apart. I also wish there were nicer templates and icons. Right now to me the templates are a little bit ugly, and I tend to use the same few simple shapes and icons for my tasks. I'd also love to have better theming of objects. We use it as a reference guide that anyone can update. Also as a way to create and share storyboards for passing work between teams. Even as a place to create fun onboarding spaces. **What do you dislike about Miro?** Sometimes intricate diagrams get a bit finnicky, but it's mostly when pushing it to its limits. The mouse wheel changing between zooming and scrolling can be a bit annoying too. A large board can take anywhere from 1-3GB of RAM, so you might need a decent machine for complex boards. Haven't really used the AI in it to its full potential. **What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a handy place for our subject-matter experts to create storyboards for us - the comments are really useful to tag people to flag issues. Makes it easy for multiple people to be able to edit the same board and not worry about the underlying software. Having one collaborative space to keep track of our weekly tasks each sprint. It's easier to organise our sprints in Miro than it is in Jira! Then we sync the changes over to Jira. It's also useful to have an easy to update reference guide to keep track of our protocols - for ourselves and for onboarding. ### 3. It can be an easily navigable repository for project information. If you can imagine how something can be visually represented, Mira can do it Collaboration - you have control of how collaborative your boards are. Full inclusion of others, view only, no access - you decide and you control it. I use it daily, often one of the first apps I open each day, as it contains all my thoughts, notes, plans for my projects. **What do you dislike about Miro?** Occasionally if I get overzealous when navigating, the "select and drag" tool doesn't let go of the board, and I end up jumping to another section of the board. This is probably 99% my own error. If I release the mouse button before the mouse goes off screen, it doesn't happen. No, because they can be used up quickly. The second, this year I was at a company for an internship and they used Miro, and they had the Miro full of things, so it was very slow. It took a long time to open and load, it was a bit slow. I have shared a single board with the maximum allowed number of people and the functionality doesn't dip in the slightlest. I use Miro every single work day and I will not even be looking for an alternative because there is no need. I am also still on the free version and so far it has still worked well for me, I love the accessibility of that - and not having the worry about clients needing to spend money to interact with me here. **What do you dislike about Miro?** Most things that have bothered me in the past are easily adjustable and fixed, for example: when many people are busy on a single board and all the cursors are flying around it drove me crazy, until I found the option where I can hide them and focus on what Im doing better. When falling in with existing groups the navigation can get confusing but once I created my own account, which is also a bit of a process but it wasn't too lengthy, things have been simpler. One thing I find almost amusingly annoying is the AI summary that gets sent to me after clients leave feedback. They will circle things and mention what the like and I will get an email about "loving clouds"... and the board activity summary is usually very similar. Makes it a little bit unreliable. **What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?** I work collaboratively alongside other creatives and when working remotely, sending files back and forth with every update just creates chaos and confusion. With Miro we can easily exchange work and opinions, as well as being able to write and adjust things in the program, trying to write down what you mean in terms of creative work can sometimes just get things lost and cause frustration. I also mainly use the application on my laptop but when Im out of the office and I get an update email I can easily see the board from my phone and all these things make the work process of a project much faster and enjoyable. As proof of it's ease, I recently had a return client specifically request a Miro board before I even made one because they love how included they feel and how easily they can keep track of my updates and share their own feedback. ### 7. And the fact that it saves automatically has also been helpful since my laptop battery is about to die. **What do you dislike about Miro?** Sometimes the connection arrows are very frustrating as they will snap to the wrong side of the box and I will have to go into an extreme level of detail (i.e. zoom in at 400%) in order to locate the tiny dot that connects the arrow to the box so that I can move it. At times the entire board becomes slow and unresponsive because there are too many large images/screenshots that were pasted onto the board. **What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?** My company uses this product to draw pictures of our servers, because prior to this method, we would email each other files back and forth and no one knew which file was the most current.
