## Miro Reviews
  ### 1. UX Consistency

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I like its versatility and flexibility. Being able to work in Miro in the same way as on a whiteboard, sometimes even better.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

It is a real hassle to adapt to the many changes in its user interface. Certain functions and interface elements are relocated and are all but intuitive to find. Most important though, there is a really hiddeous amount of silly little features that are being added on a constant basis. On the other hand, there are basic functions that Miro is still lacking. I would suggest to concentrate on the later, rather than adding even more bells and whistles.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As stated before: a very versatile and flexible whiteboard and collaboration tool.

  ### 2. Great for productivity and totally satisfied!

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Well well-organized tool with a lot of features that anyone needs to mindmap your ideas or anything you want to summarize it. They added also Ai which helps a lot for making the mindmap much easier and takes less time to do as well.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I haven't found anything bad yet in the Miro tool.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productivity organizes the ideas or subjects and less time-consuming to do the task.

  ### 3. Convenient but there are glitches

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Miro?**

We can write and draw in the board and share with team

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

There are glitches in copy and pate image. It seems that so many people complain about this issues for a long time.
It has not been solved yet. That is disapointing .

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the feature that all the team mambers can put idea on the board simltanuously just like a whate paper.
Miro board can make visual presentation very easy.

  ### 4. Good brainstorming and ice breaker tool but lacks the functionality for flow charts and diagrams

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Miro?**

- The voting and timer functions are great for group brainstorming activities.
- Good variety of shapes and stencils.
- Appreciate the ability to organize boards into projects and projects into teams.
- Some attempt at integrations with other apps but could be improved, especially Figma and Confluence integrations.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

- It's very difficult to create journey maps or diagrams because of the limited layering and grouping functionality. LucidChart does a much better job for diagram and flowchart creation.
- Lacks true tables and grids for text-heavy content.
- Need more auto-layout functionality.
- Text formatting is clunky especially when hyperlinks are involved.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team bonding is the main use as well as some light journey mapping and documentation of visual elements that are hard to translate to pure text in a PRD.

  ### 5. I used Miro to work on a start-up with both a professor and fellow students

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elaina S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I like how everyone can work on a project at once and it updates in real time

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I don't like how the scrolling and zooming in/out features work, I feel like it should better incorporate mouse users.

I always have to turn my mouse off so I can use Miro properly

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They're solving the problem of a team working together digitally with designs and more interfaces, it can be easier than a google doc depending on the project

  ### 6. too expensive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

I like how multiple users can work on a board at the same time

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I think some layouts are not the most intuitive thing

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 8. Review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I like the way I can make sticky notes in instantly make something simple on it

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I do not like how the interface of Miro is made. Its a bit cluttered.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro realy helps me with simple tasks. Like writing my thoughts down and using the sticky notes just like it is on paper.

  ### 9. Gets the job done but somewhat frustratingly

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon I. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Graphical nature of the tool and the ability to colour code process boxes/epics, features and stories.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Glitchiness - I have boards littered with the little "+" icons to create new process boxes which should not be there. Also the inability to change font colour is annoying! Also the inability to add files or attachments easily is not convenient.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's providing a more visual breakdown of epics, features and stories for my story maps.

  ### 10. Use is for organization structure

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Di R. | Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

It is really clear and easy for me to use.

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Useful to share plans with colleagues where they can review their targets.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Unable to link this with MicroSoft Planner

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to share the programme with colleagues and helping collaboration

  ### 12. Nice app for diagrams and modeling

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ion M. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

to create BPMN 2.0 charts with a lot of details and to stretch the meeting notes

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

the application is not so flexible for text and images

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main scope we use it is to cover the whiteboard needs. We also use it for flow diagramming

  ### 13. It's great. Kinda.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The ability to reposit and collaborate in one spot, from any device. Its infinitiely flexible and customizable, just like a real whiteboard.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Stability, refresh. We've overwhelmed the content more than once, causing repeat reload "whoops" messages. At that point its unuseable.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its creating breadcrumb history of development on key projects and a place to located them. We can review how we attacked earlier projects easily and reuse/repurpose & reference things that are normally deleted from our process.

  ### 14. Good whiteboard with additional tagging/sharing features, but lacks logic and organization features.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Easy to create and share dashboards.
Tagging features are nice.
Drag and drop file features work well.
Live sessions are easy to start and work well as a collaborative space to work during meetings.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Integrations with other apps are surface-level.
There is no baked-in intelligence to the organization of connected objects.
Large boards become very slow and hard to use.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A diverse and easily accessible whiteboard tool for use during meetings or to collaborate on early-stage ideas.
Collaborative brain dump before meeting to introduce topics or after meetings to record toughts.

  ### 15. Confusing Online Whiteboard

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego V. | Associate , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I like that it is a more professional online whiteboard or place to take notes with several annotations and organizational features. I like that it is a live online tool versus a server-based one.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Having so much freedom sometimes does not help with a visually ordered and clean whiteboard. I also think the software is not so user friendly, or as much as I would like it to be.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro helps us take and gather notes and comments during meetings and helps map what are the following steps, goals, responsibilities, etc. It also helps illustrate a visual map of our thinking process during meetings.

  ### 16. Nice tool for team workshop and easy to use

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

It makes team workshop and collaboration very easy, which is important for a remote first company.
Lot of integrations

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

No off-line capacities
Security options are only available on enterprise pricing

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have team working from a lot of countries and most of the time offline, it makes it easy for us to workshop around an idea in a complete on-line way

  ### 17. Useful

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The freedoom of an online whiteboard. Ideas easily come to live!

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

very very slow to load. Difficult to manipulate multiple objects.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration and presentation of new ideas to a wide audience.

  ### 18. UX UI designer

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Béatrice D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

It's easy to share mockups links with the dev and PO teams. I like the zoom functionality when sharing a link

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Sometimes I find it hard to navigate
The shortcuts with the keyboard are not in numerical order
The groupment functionality only has 1 level (I cannot stack groups)

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used the platform for a few years now. Teams are used to work with it. We can easily add comment to specific areas to keep tracks of the discussions between the teams

  ### 19. Works fine, could be better!

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kally C. | Product Designer (UX/UI), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Does what I need to do. Fairly easy to use, never complicated or difficult to figure out. Changes are always saved. Nice UI that is simple and seems easy.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Sharing files is always difficult when someone does not have Invision, never really know what view they are receiving or features they can or can't access. Wish that it could be fully integrated in sketch, hard to keep track of files on two different platforms, wish there was a central place for it. Not even sure if I can tell what sketch file the Invision prototype came from. I can't share assets from my invision prototype. Can't have videos on Freehand.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can show prototype and share specs with developers. Freehand works as a whiteboard for brainstorming and working sessions when working remote.

  ### 20. Decent Visual Collaboration Platform for Every Team

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Miro is a very flexible and customizable tool. Which can be used for a variety of purposes, from brainstorming and ideation to project planning and execution at large scale.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Miro can be slow for large boards or with many users, Also miro does not have as many integrations as some other collaboration tools. It can be expensive for larger teams.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro's whiteboarding capabilities make it easy for us to quickly sketch out ideas and collaborate on them, also the real-time collaboration features make it easy for us to share information and work together on projects.

  ### 21. It works, but falls behind compared to other services

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

It's very easy to use in it's UI and tools that it offers. The collaboration aspect works as intended and has helped our team work together well.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

It falls behind in terms of text formatting, tools, and features compared to Miro and FigJam.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving the ability to map out work and wireframing before going into designs. We use InVision & Craft to upload our design work from Sketch and it helps that there is freehand on the same platform to plan, ideate and research before designing.

  ### 22. Difficult to use for collaborative wire framing

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I enjoy Freehand's collaborative features. I regularly lead UX teams in complex application design projects where we need to work together to solve big problems. My team is also distributed across multiple time zones so tools like Freehand help us successfully work together.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

It tends to be tricky to use. It is hard to keep wireframes consistent on large projects.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freehand enables collaborative wireframing across both Mac and PC systems.

  ### 23. Miro board creation is funny and useful

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elena S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I like the fact you can create quickly boards and see online modifications from collaborator.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I wouldn't say I like much the way to move in the miro board (better to do it with the usual left button on the mouse)

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro is helping in idea sharing and brainstorming phase of a project

  ### 24. Good as usual

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno R. | Estagiário, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Helpfully and trustfull, using Miro as a task manager improve results.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

The layout could be better with stylist text font or colors change.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing task with multiple steps, organizing them

  ### 25. Collaborative platform that continues to evolve... but not always in a good way

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gilles C. | Program Maestro/Chief eXperience Officer/Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The most important thing for us is that the platform serves our needs and client needs. We design and build workflows with our clients to deliver critical results. We are very visual in our board development; Miro allows us to serve not just workflows, but images and objects which prime clients cognitively. We also have access to tools that increase collaboration for clients to make decisions. There is also a strong community of contributors for workflow objects.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I absolutely hated the New Year's present with button reassignment... Still aggravating and always will be... Simply said, it contradicts how most software is being used. Flip back and forth with software which Miro's prior button assign worked well. I use Miro daily and I still can't get used to using it the way it is now. The development team should have made this an option, not force users to use their software in such an unintuitive way.

**Recommendations to others considering Miro:**

We haven't found a better collaborative platform that meets our needs; we work with our clients, and our clients adopt using Miro as part of moving their work forward after we leave. Part of what we leave with our clients is the ability to do the work we do and leave them with our intellectual property, which is housed in Miro. When you go into Miro, look through the Miroverse and templates to see what is there to give you ideas on effectively using the platform. Go to the learning videos to kickstart using Miro.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We migrated from Nureva's platform last year; we worked directly with them as we were their most sophisticated users. We had many in-person meetings with them and worked with their development team as well as senior leaders. When Nureva decided to abandon their platform, Miro was one of 2 suggestions. As we moved into the Miro platform, we immediately realized that it is a much more mature product that allows us to do so much more on so many levels. The primary benefits have been around space vertically and horizontally, as well as much more flexibility in designing right on the board. The most important feature is the ability to create templates which, as we continue to develop, allows us to streamline workflow and save so much time. I would also suggest that someone from the Miro team connect directly with us to see how we are pushing the boundaries on their platform.

  ### 26. Real-time collaboration

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Invision FreeHand is a great tool for professionals, and can serve as a useful way to collaborate in a structured manner. The templates serve as a good starting to collaborate.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

InVision freehand is hard to use as there is no tutorial or first time experience to understand the tool better. Once understanding the app, it is fine. Importing documents can be difficult.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Writing and explaining difficult concepts is solved by FreeHand. Additionally, I am able to get multiple team members to understand the problems better and can solve efficiently.

  ### 27. Useful tool that lacks great user experience

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Miro like any other digital whiteboard tool makes it easy to collaborate virtually with others. It doesn't require a lot of explanation even for members of other teams.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

While working with many other people at the same time miro's performance is lacking. It has useful features but always feels a bit old fashion and lacks fun features to spark creativity and interaction.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It made it easy to collaborate in a virtual or hybrid format and store notes and points digitally. It was good for repeat workshop formats as we could copy templates we've previously used.

  ### 28. Useful tool with some billing/customer support difficulties.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The program is userfriendly and highly adaptable. The templates are powerful. The collaboration potential is fantastic. Visually very attractive.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

No customer support. Accidental change in my service led to doubling the subscription amount. This charge went directly to the business credit card, causing us a lot of internal problems. It would have been nice to have better communication from Miro, as well as the possibility of calling to rectify the problem.

**Recommendations to others considering Miro:**

This is an excellent tool, which I really enjoy using. I accidentally made a change to my account, which triggered a billing change. My the price of my subscription doubled, which was a surprise to me and my business manager, and we had no way of changing that after it happened. I have been unable to find an email or phone number to contact to help me with this billing problem, which is frustrating and unforgivably bad customer service.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Miro for a wide-range of educational applications, including meeting facilitation, project design, and evaluation.

  ### 29. Used at the request of a partner company.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The usage method is intuitive and easy to understand. You can see others' activities in real-time, enabling efficient collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

It is not widely utilized in Japanese companies, and obtaining usage permissions does not go smoothly. It is difficult to keep records as data.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It will aid in communicating efficiently even under telework conditions.

  ### 30. My experience has been generally positive.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Helpful when used in conjunction with wireframing and prototyping.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Lacks certain features such as advanced vector editing capabilities.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It streamlines the design process, facilitates collaboration, and provides communication, revisions, and prototyping tools.

  ### 31. Overall a useful tool

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Miro?**

It's a solid way to collaborate with my team & our partners. We can easily spin up a new Freehand or share a link to an existing Freehand and start collaborating

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

There can be a bit of a learning curve for new users as they get used to the tools. The text sizing tool & zoom level are items I continue to see collaborators struggle with.

**Recommendations to others considering Miro:**

If you're already using InVision, it's a no brainer to use Freehand for digital collaboration.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since our org pays for InVision we have been able to solve collaborating digitally where we once may have been in a room together. It allows our team from across the globel to come together in a common space & share ideas.

  ### 32. as good as it promises

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Practical and intuitive interface. Several options for frames allow sharing both the execution and the exchange of ideas for the assembly of the frame. great tool for meetings and organization of topics and ideas

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Hard to find at first; without knowing what the application was for, I missed a tutorial. And the flexibility to have or not post its suggestions

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was able to write down my insights, and it's so good that this alone gives me several minutes that I would waste going to the notebook to do this, so I don't lose the idea. I'm solving this issue of improving the effectiveness of not losing ideas and being able to improve my productivity, and being able to count on what I plan to share with those who are interested and give it even more efficiency.

  ### 33. Like how this can be included with Invision, but slow to load

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Integration with Invision for mockups xx

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

It loads very slowly when you embed imgs

**Recommendations to others considering Miro:**

Keep assets/embeds to low res to help to load faster.

I wish there could be a colo wheel to select more colors to shapes/sticky notes/texts.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

so when I tried to zoom in certain images on the board, when it is shared, it will automatically become its original size.

  ### 37. Freehand was awesome till I stared using figjam from figma.

We have to pay/people get added to max out our plan.

**Recommendations to others considering Miro:**

Make it more fun! Adding emojis, animations, timers for brainstorms, use similar key commands designers are used to from Adobe suite, sketch, and figma.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for Google Ventures Design Sprints

  ### 38. I like the new name, would love some new features.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Faisal A. | TOP RATED Lead Generation Expert, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Easy to use. Fun. It's my go-to whiteboard app.
Didn't disappoint me much. It's super user-friendly.
The interface kind of give you infinite space, which is great.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

AwwApp (now Mira) is a bit buggy and is missing a lot of features to make it an all-around collaboration app.
Want to chat via microphone or camera? Not available.

**Recommendations to others considering Miro:**

I have been using for a long time now. I can highly recommend this to anyone.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A lot to mention.
As I take some online classes. I tend to use this a lot.
I am currently making a course for SkillShare, and I am doing most of my work with AWW (now Mira).

  ### 39. Good core product. Poor Admin and support.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The application itself is a great tool for the business, especially with the diverse teams spread across different regions, and remote working.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

The support is only available via email and takes an age to get your point across and talk to someone that can actually help. It's even difficult finding the support page! (Buried in the app)

The on boarding is terrible, with just a poorly written welcome email.

The administration and security controls are poor.

The documentation is often poorly written. Often with trial and error being the Only sure way to clarify or reject the documentation.

The licensing model is very expensive. Especially for the day passes, which can only be purchased in extra large bundles and only last until the end of the contract, and not from the date of purchase.

All of which is based on an Enterprise subscription.

**Recommendations to others considering Miro:**

If you're using the enterprise features, make sure you trial them.

Also, ask about the coating model of day passes and their expiration etc.

Ask Miro about their support options and channels.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote whiteboard collaboration.

  ### 40. Good for collaborating live

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Miro allows you to collaborate easily live with a large group of people. It makes brainstorming fun and easy.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Sometimes it isn't easy to synthesize what you brainstorm through miro afterward because there is so much information in a Miro.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro helps with brainstorming in large groups and getting opinions from many different people at once.

  ### 41. Miro is a useful collaboration tool

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Miro?**

* Realtime interactivity. Makes running sessions while working remotely easy.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

That I keep dragging bits of the miro board around when I'm trying to pan the canvas - beacuse I keep forgetting to toggle "presentation" mode. 😅

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote collaboration made easy.

  ### 42. Useful once you know how to use it

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Miro?**

That you can keep adding to it time after time

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

It can be tricky to navigate sometimes, need to get used to it first

**Recommendations to others considering Miro:**

Get used to it before using with others

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using one board for several meetings.

  ### 43. Interesting collab tool, has scalability issues

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan W. | Managing Direcor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Miro?**

very engaging for small group collboration

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Became too sluggish to be useful as it got larger. Also, seems slower than using actual sticky notes. Moving around is also confusing at scale.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using for training breakout rooms. Best benefit is that the small teams were very engaged.

**Official Response from Anya Gonzales:**

> Hi Dan,

Thanks so much for sharing your review on Miro.

Please know that in the app there is a button called, 'Boost Performance' that you can use if there are times when the board is working slowly on your end. Additionally, please note that there is a key in-app on the bottom left hand corner that allows you to easily find key items on the board and scale the board to the required size.

Please reach out if you have any additional questions, we are happy to help!

Best,
The Miro Team

  ### 44. Average

Able to tag elements and search across all elements.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Very slow loading time when a storyboard is opened.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

View storyboards to understand flow of the project.

**Official Response from Anya Gonzales:**

> Hi Joel,

Thanks for sharing your experience about Miro on G2.

Please note that there is a button called 'Boost Performance' on the top right hand corner of your board that you can select when the board starts moving slowly on your end.

Have a great day!

  ### 45. miro - whiteboarding but not O365 integration

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gerald K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I really like the easy-to-use-features that have been mentioned already hundred of times: zoomable space, colored post-its, agile way of working, realtime

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

For me, whiteboarding and posting colored post-its is often not enough - even in workshops. I miss integrated documents, multipage documents (like PPTX, PDF etc.) that can be edited and exportet keeping the original format. Exporting a powerpoint image with lots of post-its on it requires a lot of rework when it comes to post-production after the workshop.

**Recommendations to others considering Miro:**

Take time to practice - play around with the features before you start your first own client workshop

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Realtime Collaboration in distributed teams; agile way of working; brainstormings, trainings;

**Official Response from Anya Gonzales:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave Miro a review!

It's great to see that you like the whiteboarding aspect of Miro to collaborate more effectively with your peers. I see your feedback on exporting post its and integration with PowerPoint and will pass on this information to our Product team.

Please know that Miro has a wealth of resources available for onboarding and getting familiar with the variety of features the platform offers. We strongly recommend new users continue to interact with these resources in other to better understand how to maximize their use of Miro.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions / comments.

Thanks again and have a great day!

  ### 46. It is very useful to promote collaboration in the development of all activities.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Very useful for working remotely in an effective and practical way, it fosters collaboration among all members of the work team, managing to develop new ideas through notes, which are visualized through a multifunctional and effective board.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

At the time of making any updates or changes to the notes, these are not saved in an effective way to follow, that is, it does not appear if the activity was completed or not. It would be very useful to improve this little detail.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an essential tool from my point of view because it allows you to access activities and execute them from anywhere remotely, making collaboration between team members more effective.

  ### 47. Good price but outdated

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Mobile Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The price is very fair compared to other solutions and the inspect function has a clear hierarchy of all the files. As a developer, I can be thankful for this.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I have used InVision very often for a big project I am developing. Unfortunately, the loading time is very long for a mockup platform: when I try to share a single screen mockup to my UI designer the link is ridiculously long and the load time is way longer than I would expect.

The comment section is a little bit confusing: it would be cool to have a dashboard ( not via pop-ups like it is now ) where you can check all the comments. Marvel does so and the communication between UX/UI designers and developers is better.

**Recommendations to others considering Miro:**

Pay attention to your focus: consider Marvel and, if you know it, also Figma ( for a 360 degrees experience of prototyping )

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have solved communication problems with UX/UI designers ( also if it is not optimized as it should ). I have saved a lot of time by not asking them for mockup inspection every time (to have correct paddings, positions ... ).

  ### 48. We use Realtimeboard for Biweekly Product Retrospectives

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Miro?**

We like Realtimeboard because it is a collaborative tool and everyone can work on it at once and see others' answers or posts, so they can either 'like it" or "comment on it" to prevent duplicates if they agree. We also like how it helps to guide our retrospective meetings with a visual and can customize it to the way we need it. A few months ago, we changed the structure of our retro meetings, and were able to adjust the board to make it work.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Every week, we have to adjust the board to fit our needs. We need to duplicate a past week, and manually delete every post and then choose who to share it to. I wish there was one button that would allow us to duplicate & wipe content while still maintaining sharing permissions. Or, if we were to create a brand new board, would be ideal if there was a template we can make once and use over and over. Since we make a new board every 2 weeks consistently, it's annoying and tedious work.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to better capture Engineering and Products' feedback and discuss it as a group. This has allowed us to adjust our sprint techniques, implement new tools or worfklows, and remove any habits that were making us less efficient. It has increased velocity for our team as well as morale and happiness.

We have also used Realtimeboard for a User Story Map for a brand new GUI we are creating as an internal Management tool. It has helped us plan out different aspects of the user journey however it is not the most helpful for this use case bc it is super manual to then translate this into a working prototype or into JIRA. I wish it has more integrations for this scenario,

  ### 49. Good for *clickable* wireframes and commenting

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine R. | UX Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2017

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Invision is good for getting feedback on designs since comments can be left on specific elements. It is good for sharing designs and uploading from multiple sources (sketch, photoshop, pdfs).

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

This is NOT a prototyping tool. It is okay if you just want to click to progress through pages, but otherwise is not good for interactions. If you have more than 40 screens, consider using another tool that is more robust and not browser-based. We hit a lot of performance issues with the browser tool (and it is unusable at any scale other than 100%)

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this for client approval on designs, and working through iterations of low to high fidelity designs. It works really well for showing and sharing designs.
