"Visual Brainstorming That Brings Teams Together—With Solid Performance"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Miro?

A typical Miro session starts with a blank canvas, but it doesn’t stay blank for long. I can pull ideas, notes, diagrams, and feedback into one shared space and then watch the conversation take shape visually. I especially like using boards for brainstorming sessions, when several people need to contribute at the same time and build on each other’s input. Performance has been consistently solid for the boards and collaboration activities I usually run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I would not say Miro has a major weakness for the way I use it. The only thing that can become slightly inconvenient is managing a board after it grows significantly complex. When a workspace contains numerous frames, sticky notes, comments, and visual elements, it takes a little longer to locate something specific, even if we use support too. The wide range of available features also makes the first few sessions feel somewhat busy for someone who has never used a visual collaboration platform before. What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

One problem I faced was that ideas and project discussions were scattered across meetings, emails, chat messages, and separate documents. Miro solved this by giving the team one shared visual workspace where we could collect ideas, organize information, and work on the same board together. Brainstorming, process mapping, planning, and workshops also became easier. The process of onboarding is also very simple now. Miro also reduced the need to repeatedly explain ideas through long messages or follow-up meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
