The Mintent dashboard and content calendar is a great way to easily manage and organize the content your team has in production. The content library has a nice filter feature that allows you to sift through your company's content and find exactly what you're looking for. Assigning tasks could use a bit of a redesign. There's a bit of a learning curve when trying to create a job for someone to do. Mintent requires a lot of team adoption in order to be useful. In order to keep track of everything, everyone needs to use the tool. As we know, not everyone will be on-board right away so my advice is spend some time getting everyone up to speed. Also, the UI is a little bit of an eyesore. The email notifications are also a little tough to get the hang of. Truly the best feature for us has been a place to put all content ideas, pitches, and possible repurposed pieces all in once place, then turn them live in production in the same place.

We decided to trial this content management tool for our team of 15+ globally dispersed people. We were curious to see how the adoption process would be; and were pleased that our consultant actually had a phased process according to just this approach. We are currently in the mid-adoption phase where they have integrated our Marketo account; as well as various documents and calendars. This way the team can feel a certain level of familiarity to their day-to-day workflows. One thing that I appreciate about this software is the analytics capabilities it has for reporting to executive management. We are able to determine how many pieces of unique content are produced; and where each piece of this content is utilized. (Blogs, trade publications, social media, etc.) It will also pull real-time results from any of the recent campaigns that are running in Marketo. It's pretty slick. They also just rolled out a new UI, which I haven't had time to explore; though it looks like quite an upgrade from their last version. I still have a bit of exploration and tinkering to do within this software, but we are pretty happy with it so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a bit early on for me to determine what my dislikes are in this platform. One of the original pieces of Input I had was on the difficulty in navigating adding new drop downs to organize the content. This is more of a "set up" issue though; and not really a day-to-day pain point. I also think that, like with most of these type of platforms there is a learning curve and it takes a true commitment and investment of your time to adopt this for your team.
