I find it makes creating DOEs fairly easy and gives helpful results, even if the analysis part takes a bit more work. I like how highly multi-functional it is, performing a wide variety of analyses, which is useful for visualizing my formulation designs. The base software itself includes a wide variety of analyses, allowing me to do both routine data analysis like t-tests and ANOVA, as well as more specialized tasks like complicated DOE. The initial setup was easy because it was simple to obtain access from my company and install it on my computer. **What do you dislike about Minitab Statistical Software?** Some of the DOE controls aren't uniform between different design types. My manager had just attended Six Sigma training and showed me Minitab, which I self-taught into building Boxplots of quality data that were much more meaningful than average data points. From there I learned how to perform hypothesis tests, build control charts and use ANOVA to determine shifts in process behavior as I have changed jobs and locations. Minitab = Statistics made EASY! **What do you dislike about Minitab Statistical Software?** The downside of Minitab is dealing with static source data. Anytime you need to add new data you have to re-run the hypothesis tests as they become old news once the data changes. Control charts are good about staying updated but that's the only thing. **What problems is Minitab Statistical Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Anytime I need a reliable hypothesis test I put my data into Minitab!
