They have deep knowledge of the global compliance space and install that knowledge into their product. Setup is simple and straightforward. MineOS supports many integrations and the list is still growing. During onboarding, we were paired with a knowledgeable member of the MineOS team who outlined and excellent process for us. He is patient, flexible, and adapts to our needs. As we contonue to grow with MineOS, the platform will be used every day as a compliance resource. Finally, I'm excited about the partnerships MineOS has built with vendors like CookieBot and Panorays. **What do you dislike about MineOS?** Prior to their price restructuring, I would have suggested more flexible pricing options. However, the new structure meets our needs well and MineOS were very flexible and accomodating during the contracting process. **What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a medium sized company with a global footprint, and bandwidth is always a challenge. With help of the Mine team we were able to stablish a road map and start mitigating risk right away. Through the platform we have thoroughly mapped our processing activities and stablished initiatives to enhance our data privacy and security capabilities. MineOS is like a powerhouse to manage all your data privacy risks, including those that are customer-facing. The DSR module really makes a difference and cuts costs associated with designing and implementing a data request process from scratch. The Mine customer support and teams are always there to help and provide a lot of insights into how best manage our integration. We have succesfully integrated with internal data sources and it has been very easy to use those integrations. We use Mine frequently to address our data privacy needs. **What do you dislike about MineOS?** Probably not totally on Mine, but the process of data mapping can take a while or seem overhelming. **What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mine solves our need to quickly implement a Data Privacy Management program, when multiple processes in your company are manual. They have automation that works well. Here are a few examples: DSAR Automation - A lot of tools have workflow automation but this one automates the process and puts you in a role where you are basically just monitoring. Data Mapping - Depending on the level of integrations you want, the sky is the limit.They automate a ton of it. They do have ways to complete certain tasks manually if the risk for integrations with your organizations systems seems too high (which it won’t because this organization is solid). Here are some concerns you may have and how Mine addresses them: Inability to fulfill contractual obligations - Their tool might seem a little lightweight because they are a start-up, but things rarely go wrong. Even if they do they have fantastic developers who ensure that errors are corrected within a reasonable time frame. Customer Service - Customer support is great too. We had a larger vendor before, and they fulfill our requests faster and fix the problem. Lastly, I wanted to say that the people at Mine are some of the best people I have worked with. Every single one of them that I have met has shown integrity, discipline, kindness, perseverance, and maintained a great level of professionalism in the workplace. Working with them has been a pleasure. **What do you dislike about MineOS?** Depending on your compliance departments knowledge level you be unable to use the tool efficiently. Many integrations are available, and their "Radar" feature is excellent for finding shadow IT. Where they fall short is scanning. **What do you dislike about MineOS?** Lots of bugs and feature flags set. Contacting support is often helpful, though sometimes they can take a bit before responding. There is no way to launch a full scan of your cloud provider within the app, you must contact customer support for them to launch the scan. **What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sensitive data discovery feature is great. We have found it very easy to use and it has allowed us to significantly expand our privacy program. One of the biggest advantages is the reduction in the time we used to spend processing our clients' requests (access, deletion, and restriction of personal data), especially when it comes to locating where the information is in all our systems. The team behind this platform is incredible. They are friendly, always available, and go above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Additionally, we have incorporated MineOS into our existing processes very easily. The Data Mapping module is very comprehensive and unlike any platform we have used in the past. Once set, cloud-based solution works seamlessly, integration (at least in a small company) is super fast, the software runs in the background and provides a long-term overview of all the intra-company processes, workflows, data flow and people working with the data, uncovers any vulnerabilities and provides a comprehensive way to fix them. The customer support is excellent with dedicated account manager making sure you understand how to use the software. We found Mine as we manually processed requests and saw a bunch from this 'Mine' app we had no idea existed. We dug in and found out what they offered and were hooked on the first demo (with an extremely knowledgeable dare I say suave - no pressure sales person). Once we signed up - the support has been absolutely amazing. They check in all the time, give us tips and tricks, and help in every way possible. Every single person we have encountered is friendly and deeply believes in their product and PII rights. **What do you dislike about MineOS?** Not a thing. Seriously, there is nothing that we do no like about the software, the company, the people. Early on, it was evident the entire Mine team was vested in helping customers succeed in maximizing value, not just completing a sale. "Onboarding" has been a regular cadence of the Mine team checking in to understand our needs, why parts of the product haven't been utilized, and general guidance on how privacy and compliance industry trends are shifting and how Mine was addressing them on the platform. As for the software, Mine strikes a great blend of approachability, reporting, process and trust that is critical for team adoption and ongoing business justification. The recognition that automation, wherever possible, is the only manageable solution in this space has been invaluable for our team to maintain compliance, not just achieve it once. Coupled with Mine's commitment to keeping pace with the pulse of privacy and security concerns constantly emerging via feature releases and news bulletins... If your organization wants to take security and privacy seriously, Mine should be on your must-have list of vendors. **What do you dislike about MineOS?** The biggest challenge is that Mine's approachability and ease of use come with some tradeoffs in workflow flexibility. We have existing processes that require light workarounds to function within Mine. That said, Mine took our feedback and incorporated some of it into the product, so our workarounds may no longer be required over time. Also, Mine is newer to the space, so it doesn't have more nuanced offerings like assisting with an organization's data security posture. **What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Processing 'data source requests' in Mine ensures we have a timely, comprehensive workflow that protects our business and reinforces our brand as being reputable and protective of our users and their data. A lot of companies in regulated industries would kill for a tool like this to bring a holistic view in data protection and privacy for their users. **What do you dislike about MineOS?** The UI and a lot of the portal functionality. There's a lot of potential here and coming from a regulated industry, i see what you are trying to do with the product. However, it is not quite there. You tend to rollout services that aren't quite ready and need some work. This reduces customer belief in your product and brings down satisfaction. **What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently, we make use of Mine for DSARs. Previously, we'd have to chase up system owners to help track down user information to get that removed. In the past, when I received a request to delete someone’s data, I would have to go through each and every data source and manually delete the individual’s information. With Mine PrivacyOps, it’s done in a breeze through automation. This not only saved me a lot of time, but it also ensured that there was no chance of errors. Overall, I was very pleased with how Mine PrivacyOps handled data deletion requests. **What do you dislike about MineOS?** Initially, not all data sources had a ready-made integration (that meets our needs), but their team is working on that fast. The templates for registereing vendors/processing activities are not customisable at all. Features like templates and customization of the emails we sent out and our data source lists are also not to be underestimated, you’ll get me if you used one of their competitors in the past. I don't know how we managed without Mine for so long, it's definitely something that makes the unpleasant work of requests easier. It's beneficial for any company to embrace Mine and explore and use as many tools as possible. **What do you dislike about MineOS?** Sometimes I would like to have a more of a no-touch experience, quite often they suggest you talk to them. It’s not bothering me that much as Mine’s support team is very competent and responds quickly, but it’s additional calls or emails in my already packed day. Example: We had to change the logo in our Privacy Center (and it wasn’t available for doing it ourselves). As we process thousands of contacts per year, having the Sendgrid integration as well as the Facebook Ads / Instagram Ads integration to delete data is good. The system works well for us, the implementation went fast, the interface is great and we also gave a try to their data mapping (but to be honest they gave us this 1st scan for free). **What do you dislike about MineOS?** We used Mine just because we got all of our requests through their users, to begin with. After a short call with Stas from Mine's team, I onboarded to see the requests and fulfill them. At first, I had negative sentiment toward Mine (since we didn't want these requests anyway), but after trying out their PrivacyOps portal I think they're making excellent software for both sides of the equation. These reclaim requests are probably inevitable. **What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mainly we solve the problem of deleting data manually. It's all automated now.
