MindBridge is a useful tool for pointing out unusual transactions in our GL that require some further attention. It's much more likely for us to find anomalies by using this tool rather than random sampling. While we don't currently rely on the tool for SOX testing purposes, it's still worthwhile for us to review what MindBridge scores as high risk. My favorite thing about MindBridge is its ability to review extremely large accounts over a few minutes. Compared to before larger accounts meant larger estimates but now I just input my data sit back and let the program do the analysis which narrows the transactions that I need to take a closer look at.
