I love the completeness report and ability to pivot off of risk points like 2 digit benfords. Mindbridge is very useful when it comes to working with large general ledger activity and being able to customize and creatively select transactions that may stick out as more risky. I also love the trends analysis that can populate after a few years of data as it is very helpful in seeing the bigger picture. Mindbridge is easy to use and exporting to Excel is probably the most fluid part of it. Implementation was quite easy and customer support has always been rapid help. I needed help with exporting certain graphs and a service worker helped me in minutes through a live chat! very useful. I'd say I use mindbridge on almost every week. I don't like how sometimes when I am sifting through transactions and trying to select some, I have to click the little tiny select box but instead I accidentally click on just the transaction itself and itll open up the detail of that transaction and then when i go back to my selected list, it deselects everything and I have to reselect. I also don't like how there's no good way to just export pictures of the graphs instead of having to create a whole excel with it when you export from the trends analysis page. I like the plethora of resources that MindBridge provides, whether that's FAQs to direct communication with MindBridge help support. Once the data is ingested, I love the month-to-month trend analysis. It's so much quicker to pull the trend analysis directly from MindBridge than to build out a whole line chart in excel. It also helps me to not have to go back to my audit client and ask them for more reports because they are already sick of me asking questions. MindBridge saves me a lot of time in the long run. It took an initial time investment up front to learn the basics but once I mastered the fundamentals it helps me with each audit I do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about MindBridge? MindBridge is not very intuitive and takes exposure to get familiar with the processes. There are certain parts of data ingestion that I do because I know that I need to do it but I don't understand why I need to do it. One challenge I’ve encountered with MindBridge is the data import process, especially when working with accounting systems that aren’t as widely used as QuickBooks or NetSuite. Clearing previous data and re-importing can be a bit clunky, and it often takes extra time to get the formatting just right. It can also be difficult for some controllers to understand how to pull the general ledger detail in a format that MindBridge can read, which sometimes slows down the setup phase of an engagement. Mindbridge has helped me select journals for testing and stratified them in terms of high risk, medium risk and low risk. This has enabled me to focus on areas that are typically high risk and assist in picking relevant samples. in addition, one of the most time consuming exercise that I used to perform manually that has took loads of unnecessary admin excersise is now being done on mindbridge with much ease.
