The level of support is great though, either in the written support page or swift call to support if needed. The support is terrible and unresponsive, often directing me to use the AI chat which doesn't provide helpful suggestions. Classes are missing from the app, making it unreliable. The UI is confusing, changes across different menus, and it's not clear what options unlock which features. Overall, it offers not much value for the money. I appreciate the cool new feature in Mindbody that notifies teachers via email when they are scheduled as substitutes. This functionality seems like a step in the right direction toward improving communication within our studio. Additionally, I would be keen on utilizing features that allow for the requirement of payment information for some booking options, which could be beneficial for maintaining better business practices. I love that everything I need to run my business is integrated under one company with Mindbody. This comprehensive approach means I don't have to juggle multiple platforms, simplifying my business management significantly. The branded app is a particularly valuable feature, drastically enhancing my client experience. I appreciate having real human tech support available every day of the week, which is incredibly reassuring. Whenever I encounter an issue, their support team is always ready to provide assistance, which makes a huge difference in daily operations. I initially found the onboarding experience very overwhelming, partly due to a misunderstanding of the onboarding specialist's role, which could have been communicated better. Although I overcame this issue eventually, the software remains quite complex for those without much tech experience in marketing or various software tools. Additionally, Mindbody does not integrate well with Shopify, a widely used platform for hosting websites, and this lack of integration presents a challenge and an area for improvement. It hasn't solved any problems for my spa and has been giving me constant issues since signing up. I feel like it's a fraud and they are scamming people by stealing money without providing a useful service. The subscription model also adds to the frustration. Tracking income month to month and having the ability to compare to the previous year is incredibly useful for identifying areas where we can improve and recognizing our progress. I find it inconvenient that there's no option to notify members of a class cancellation. Currently, the system seems to only notify the instructor, but not the members. I'd appreciate a feature that allows sending emails or text messages with custom notes to those who have booked the class. Over the years I have tried most of the competitors on the market, but nothing compares to the constant innovation Mindbody provides. The platform makes scheduling, payments, and client management effortless, and my clients love the ability to book directly through the app. Automated reminders have reduced no shows, while staff scheduling, reporting, and marketing integrations save me time and help drive growth. What really stands out is their white label option, which makes onboarding seamless for clients, and the level of support they provide. It is not limited to the first 30 to 90 days, but continues for as long as you use the platform. The reporting tools give me real insight into revenue and attendance trends, which helps me make better business decisions. The marketing integrations and promotions have directly supported client retention and growth. The white label option makes the client experience seamless, and the ongoing support means I always feel confident that help is available if I need it.
