I like that I can easily create a volunteer event and forward it to our team to sign up. I have never used another platform. **What do you dislike about Millie?** Getting each team member to sign up for Millie has been my biggest challenge. This is mostly on the team members! But if there could be an easier way for them to volunteer as a guest on the site, we might be able to more easily get those signed up via Millie instead of trying to keep a tally for an event. **Recommendations to others considering Millie:** I would highly recommend Millie, for any size organization to easily plan volunteering events and raise donations. **What problems is Millie solving and how is that benefiting you?** Donating is the biggest problem solved! Millie makes it SO easy to donate to organizations I may have not donated to previously. My company is very generous and will periodically give us donation money. I was able to donate it to a special needs resort near Disney World that is funded by donations and run by volunteers. My nephew was able to stay there for free and I was so happy to be able to support them. Without Millie, I probably wouldn't have thought to send them donations. ### 8. Everything has been smooth and straightforward. I found myself using the search function to find new charities that focus on causes I care about. My only gripe would be that some charities I specifically was looking for were not available on the platform, but I was able to find another charity that had a very similar mission. **What problems is Millie solving and how is that benefiting you?** As far as problems being solved - Millie allows us as a group or company to focus on specific issues as they arise (for example the conflict in Ukraine). If I had to pick one thing, I'd love for there to be more volunteer opportunities in the Phoenix area - there are currently 4 listed. **Recommendations to others considering Millie:** Millie sets the bar pretty high with this type of platform. My credit card expired and my recurring donations stopped. It was a little confusing setting up a new card and resuming my existing donations. That, coupled with lots of support from the Millie team made getting this program up and running a breeze and could continue the excitement to roll out. Employees seem to like how it looks, navigation around the site, and can see what other non-profits/causes are important to coworkers. Admins can make real time updates with ease plus get the data from the system in a flash. **What do you dislike about Millie?** Right now the only thing missing is the Microsoft integration that is coming on the roadmap this year. It's not needed but I think it will just be another welcome addition for our employees. Any and all questions/concerns have been answered by the team at Millie and I truly feel heard. The way that Millie has been organized and created is intuitive, which makes it easy for our teammates to use on their terms. The general features and gamification of giving via Millie are creative and truly makes it enjoyable to be generous. When our teammates are busy with their day-to-day, I wanted to make generosity and philanthropy one less thing that has to be difficult or time-consuming for them - Millie is perfect for that. To top it all off, the Millie team members who helped us along the way to transform our CSR efforts are amazing and have made it an enjoyable experience! If I have a question or feature request, they are quick to consider it and/or find us an alternative in the meantime. Of course, there are small features or updates that would be generally more useful but as I mentioned, the team is receptive and responsive to feedback. I use the monthly donation and my company will match up to a certain amount. **What do you dislike about Millie?** I am no longer able to use my bank to make donations because Millie does not support transactions that use 3DS (something imposed by my bank). Easier explanations of where to go for certain things would be nice (like an easier FAQ or tips). I did not feel as if the customer support I was provided was helpful in my case. **What problems is Millie solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing farm animals with a better life at sanctuaries. I am not benefiting financially from this, but I am glad those in need are. I haven't reached out to our HR department or Millie to have them added so not sure what the process is there. It could also be helpful if there were guides or best practices to help plan company-wide volunteering events. Early on we suggested small potential improvements and the Millie team implemented that feedback immediately. In our intro conversations, Rachel shared that she is a product person and loves new feature requests to improve their solutions for all customers. She has exceeded our expectations in proving this to be true. **What problems is Millie solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company's mission is embedded into the fabric of our business and that mission is the main reason why employees come to work at Checkr. However, before launching a CSR program and giving platform, our mission efforts were fragmented and disorganized, and we weren't doing a great job at tracking our impact or channeling our efforts to target specific goals. Millie has provided that much needed structure and has allowed us to engage far more employees in our giving initiatives. Millie also allows us to get proximate with the communities we're impacting which is so essential for us to understand their needs and ensure our solutions are targeting those needs.. ### 30.
