What do you like best about MIE Trak Pro?

Jesse is by far the most experienced technical architect at Mie Track by far. He developed our accounting add-on for Mie Track. He is a very busy man; however, I know when there is an issue with our accounting system, he is the one to call, and he ALWAYS responds, and if needed, hops on TeamViewer to fix or modify anything we need. What do you dislike about MIE Trak Pro?

"Mie Track Pro - Very User Friendly"

What do you like best about MIE Trak Pro?

Being able to have multiple tabs open and going through different orders Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MIE Trak Pro?

One thing i dislike, is you have to hit edit every time you enter a new line item into a Sales Order. I would prefer it just stay open to edit until you saved the order Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering MIE Trak Pro:

To make sure you have all the data you can input into the system the first time. It can take some trial and error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MIE Trak Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having numerous open orders, now being able to have RFQ's then Sales Orders. Also Mietrack is very stable unlike the other system we used Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MIE Trak Pro?

We have used this software for over 15 years, moved from Mietrak 32 to the PRO about four years ago. When purchased, they set up the modules to what you are doing and how you need them. Their support is always very helpful and knowledgeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MIE Trak Pro?

The issue was converting QuickBooks into MIeTrak, it was doable, but the risk of losing data/ and being fully integrated held us back. But we have always had it separate, and it hasn't been an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With respect to major updates, we are very sensitive to unintended consequences, or "hiccups", that could result from new versions that address bugs or new feature requests . Our Quality Assurance department works with our customers who submit the requests to test the resolution in the new version and to document any changes to performance of MIE Trak Pro in the release notes. But there is always room for improvement. If you have any suggestions on how we might improve our processes, I would love to discuss it with you further.

What do you like best about MIE Trak Pro?

The customer service team has always been available to answer my questions and get our issues resolved timely. While working late on preparing our taxes, we experienced an issue that needed resolved immediately. Even though it was after hours for customer support, we were able to reach them and resolve the issue in time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MIE Trak Pro?

When we first started using MIE Trak Pro over 6 years ago, job costing wasn't available. We had to create work-a-rounds to calculate costs associated to each job. Even though job costing is now available, we have not started using it. We are still uncertain how it will work for us since we do not use the Work Orders module. What problems is MIE Trak Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

MIE Trak Pro does what we need it to do and so much more. We researched other programs because of job costing and determined that MIE Trak Pro is still the best option for our company. We found that the customer service of some of the other options was lacking, even in the sales phase when customer service is usually the highest. To date, I've never had a problem that MIE Trak hasn't fixed promptly. They also listen to your feature requests and work to get them implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MIE Trak Pro?

To be totally honest I don't have a ton of experience with Mie Trak software but I had maybe the best experience I've had working with an enterprise software vendor whilst doing a migration from an old Server 2008 R2 box to a shiny new Dell R540 with Server 2019 and SQL 2019 on it. Evan was not only knowledgeable and efficient (he totally migrated everything in a record-setting amount of time,) he is also just a really pleasant guy.

I own and operate a small IT contracting company so we deal with a ton of software vendors on a regular basis. Lots of these companies have really craptastic products and even worse support. Here's what I find compelling about Mie Trak from an IT contractor's viewpoint:

Easy server install

Uses SQL which is reliable and relatively smooth with very few issues (though some of MS' data import processes could be improved)

Does not require DLLs to be separately installed which means you can run this program directly from the server (no workstation install required)

Friendly and effective US-based customer support that picks up the phone when you call them

One of my bigger clients uses these guys though I don't do anything directly inside of the program and therefore am not qualified to speak about it's ease of use or inner workings. That being said, hopefully it is as user friendly as the install/migration process! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MIE Trak Pro?

I have absolutely no complaints about the product and their support is so good (one more big shoutout to Evan here!) that I suspect not many people have bad things to say about this company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
