Honestly, what I like most about Microsoft 365 is that everything works smoothly together. I use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint almost daily, and it makes my work much faster. Especially PowerPoint — creating client presentations becomes easy because of templates, formatting tools, and cloud access.

The best part is real-time collaboration. I can share files with clients or team members and we can edit at the same time without confusion about versions. OneDrive backup also gives peace of mind since files are safe and accessible from anywhere.

I like the seamless integration across the entire Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The way Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive connect with each other makes user collaboration and document management incredibly smooth. For me, as an IT analyst, being able to manage identity, security, and compliance for all these tools through a single Microsoft Entra ID admin center is a massive advantage. The integration eliminates silos and saves time, like sharing a SharePoint file directly within a Teams chat or scheduling a Teams meeting from my Outlook calendar with one click. I have been using Microsoft products for in excess of 25 years personally within our businesses, and I still personally think Microsoft makes some of the best software applications. Five years ago, we upgraded our servers and mail services from on-premises equipment to Office365 cloud solutions. This change was very simple and one of the best decisions we have made. We still have full control over our services without the hassle of owning expensive servers and licensing, and of course, the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment and services. We login to the 365 portal a few times a week, to check on settings, or make required updates.

We utilise most of the Office 365 services available to us, and we have very few service-level issues.

We had one technical issue with a registered Domain on the Office 365 platform, even after deleting the domain it was showing up as still being connected on the Microsoft Exchange server. I have contacted support a dozen times and still no fix to date.

I use Word and Excel daily. I couldn't imagine getting my work done without them. I have tried using low-cost/free competitors, but they aren't in the same league. I write status reports, track attendance, calculate hours worked into PTO earned, just about everything in my day-to-day is in Word or Excel. I also use Power Point for the occasional presentation, or for items that require just a quick graphical touch. Office 365 just seems to work, and it allows more flexibility than the freebie apps. My only real dislikes with Office are in Word. I am still not a fan of the menu ribbon that was added a few years ago. Sometimes, it can be difficult to find the functionality that I'm searching for. Also, in Word, if you try to add images to documents, all sorts of crazy formatting errors can occur. I think that's something we've all learned to live with at this point.
