  ### 8. Used All Day Every Day!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley V. | Executive Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365?**

We use it for literally everything in our business. From emails to storage to meetings and quick chats. We use nearly the entire suite of products in one way or another for our business. The way that all microsoft products can integrate with one another makes it easy to use and train new employees to use. With the package that we have, we do have access to technical support which is very responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?**

From a business perspective I don't have a lot to complain about. If I had to point out one thing that is a challenge, it is that sometimes new products are rolled out before they're completely ready which can cause issues within our organization. An example of this is the "new outlook" It is not 100% functional, yet many of our employees were automatically migrated to it with no warning and weren't able to figure out how to do may of the things they were accustomed to doing with the previous version. I had to get involved to change it back to the old version.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft 365 is used in every facet of our business. It makes accounting and tracking much easier with excel. We are able to put together proposals and presentations quickly and professionally with programs like word, powerpoint, and publisher. It also brings us together with clients from around the country through Teams meetings and chats. Without it, communication would be much more difficult. Microsoft is a pretty universally used suite of projects so it is simple to communicate with clients from anywhere and nearly everyone knows how to use the products to some degree. Business would be slower without it to be sure.

  ### 9. It Just Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garreth N C. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365?**

Everything syncs and works together really well
It’s reliable—no crashes or weird bugs
Support is free, fast, and actually helpful

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?**

Setup with your domain not the easiest (but this is true of anything where you need to change DNS)
Some features are buried or not super intuitive

**What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As the executive director of an accounting firm, I’ve got a lot on my plate. Microsoft 365 has honestly become one of those tools I rely on every single day.

I use it for everything: video calls with clients, creating and sharing documents, managing my calendar, and keeping on top of emails. It’s all connected, which means I’m not constantly switching between different apps or trying to remember where I saved something. That alone saves me a ton of time.

One of the biggest things it’s helped with is collaboration. My team and I can work on the same document at the same time, even if we’re not in the same place. No more emailing versions back and forth or wondering who has the latest copy.

Scheduling used to be a bit of a nightmare, especially with clients in different time zones. Now, with the calendar and appointment tools, it’s way more streamlined. And when I do run into a hiccup, Microsoft’s support has been surprisingly quick and helpful.

Sure, it took a bit to get used to everything—it’s a big system with a lot of features—but once you get the hang of it, it really does make your work life smoother.

In short:
It’s not perfect, but it’s reliable, powerful, and makes running my day-to-day a whole lot easier.

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365?**

The most significant beauty of M365 is that everything is interconnected. Utilize M365 as it is designed, adjusting your existing experience and business processes. Numerous applications offer the same functions, but some of them are not integrated. Some tools or add-ons can access multiple resources, so after a while, it becomes difficult to determine what has access to what. There are some limitations regarding the license, so in many cases, to access some small functionality, you must purchase a full license.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating with M365, we could cut off many additional services with the same functionality, like 3rd party cloud storage, conferencing or chat systems, shared calendars, scheduling, contact lists, etc.

**Reviewed by:** Jessica B. | Insurance Account CSR, Insurance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365?**

I like that all the products come in one package. And you can download them on up to 5 devices. That is a money saver. When we transitioned to 365 it was done over a weekend and thankfully didn't take as long as I had expected. We have 33 employees and 18 laptops that had to be moved over. I use it on a daily basis and have had to authenticate myself several times. I like that. Lets me know they are keeping my account safe. We have been o 365 for 8 months now and I have no idea what took me so long to make the switch. We have an IT vendor that does the behind the scenes work but I am the in-house IT. Surprisingly enough, it didn't take the others long to figure out the differences and make it work for them. I have not needed Microsoft customer support yet. That is also a great attribute.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?**

The constant question of using the new outlook or the focused inbox. I am also not impressed with the quarantine feature. There are several that get quarantined that should not have been. I know it's just a setting but I don't like messing with settings. Just to keep it clean across the board.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel they are solving the day old question of "when will my server be hacked?" We no longer have to use an Exchange server and that is the most vulnerable device out there. More than likely we were the last ones to get rid of it. ☺

Sometimes, the updates take time and slow things down. Also, it can be a bit expensive for small teams or individuals. Some features in Excel or Teams may take a little time to learn if you are a new user.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft 365 helps me manage work easily in one place. I can write documents, make reports in Excel, send emails, and have meetings using Teams—all without switching tools. It saves time and improves communication with my team. OneDrive keeps all my files safe and easy to access from anywhere.

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365?**

Microsoft 365 offers a reliable and professional suite of tools that work well together. I like that I can switch between desktop, web, and mobile versions without losing functionality. The built-in collaboration in Excel and Word makes it easy for multiple people to work on the same document at the same time.

The occasional compatibility issues between desktop and web versions (especially in Excel with advanced features) can be a hassle. Also, initial learning for tools like SharePoint takes time if you're new to it.

It helps us avoid duplication of work and improves transparency within our projects. Teams keeps conversations organized, and OneDrive ensures all files are safely stored and easily accessible. We’ve seen a noticeable improvement in workflow efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?**

Subscription base is a pain. If they had a one and done payment option that was good for a 5 year membership it could be much more financially beneficial for many businesses than having to pay out yearly or monthly

Easy documenting and record keeping

**What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Microsoft 365 to analyze data statistically, do visual analysis using VBA, and present to higher management with PowerPoint presentations.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pradhiba S. | CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365?**

Microsoft 365's suite of apps come with all the productive features with the flexibility to work across web, mobile, and desktop versions. We can login from any device and seamlessly continue from where we left. Auto save feature always keeps our documents updated and save us from missing edits. Implementation wise it is very quick and can be quickly incorporated. We use mainly word, excel, teams, outlook majorly on day to day basis at our company.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?**

Overall the features are good, but there is some sluggishness in loading time and the tools are little heavy in internet usage. In slow networks it will be tough to manage.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaborating with colleagues working in same projects is now handy.
Sharing documents that are specific to a set of people who can collaborate together is possible now and we know who worked where and who updated what with the version management.
Discussing with colleagues in teams is very professional in teams and all the conversations get documented for our easy reference at any point of time. Search functions inside team member's chats or in any channel is very useful.
1TB onedrive space for each employee helped us create and store all official documents without hassle.

  ### 44. Use of Microsoft 365 in a professional full-cloud environment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matheus F. | Information Security Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

M365 portal is well organised, easy to navigate and provide many necessary tools and options for daily tasks in it, so we don't need to go to a service's admin page (like Exchange or Teams) to performs many actions.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?**

M365 lacks in providing certain optimization for data extraction and exports that will be used for analytics and auditing. In the Users pool, for example, it's possible to filter for Licensed/Unlicensed users, but not possible to export a report with this filter applied, forcing us to filter it in excel later, making the auditing process longer.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

E-mail and message management and auditing, and user and group management through M365 admin. Document editing and collaboration though office apps.

All the many features are easy to use and change settings to your preferences. I love that we have MDF to secure access. our network team handles installation and customer support and we use the system everyday all day long. It integrates well with our eContracts, Shopify, and JIRA systems. Desktop support loads the system on all new laptops and for new hires.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antoine S. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365?**

I’ve found Microsoft 365 to be a really seamless and practical solution—especially if you're juggling multiple tasks or teams. It's surprisingly easy to use, even if you're not super tech-savvy. Everything from Word and Excel to Teams and OneDrive just works well together, and the layout feels familiar if you’ve ever used Office before.

What really stands out for me is how smoothly it integrates with other tools—both Microsoft-based and third-party. Whether it’s syncing files across devices or collaborating on documents in real-time, you don’t have to jump through hoops. It all just clicks into place.

And when you do need help, Microsoft’s support is solid. I've used both the live chat and community forums, and both were responsive and helpful. There’s also tons of tutorials and how-tos that make it easy to troubleshoot things on your own.

Overall, Microsoft 365 feels like it was built with real-world users in mind. It takes a lot of the hassle out of everyday work.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?**

I cannot find anything I dislike about Microsoft 365 other than I wish it was totally free :)

**What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest challenges I used to face was staying organized—especially when juggling emails, documents, meetings, and team collaboration. Everything felt scattered. Microsoft 365 has really helped simplify that. Now, everything I need is in one place and synced across all my devices.

It solves the problem of version control too. I remember how frustrating it was to email documents back and forth, unsure which one was the “final” version. With OneDrive and SharePoint, everyone’s working on the same file in real time. That’s saved me a ton of time and confusion.

Communication has also improved. Teams makes it so much easier to check in with coworkers or clients—quick chats, video calls, shared calendars—without switching between five different apps. It all just flows better.

For me, the biggest benefit is peace of mind. My files are backed up, my tools are connected, and I can get work done from anywhere. Microsoft 365 takes care of the little things that used to eat up my day, so I can focus more on the work that matters.
