You can not simply duplicate a file – Rather you have to do “Copy To” then you have navigate (from the root every time) to the folder you want. You can not copy to the current location. Move to, save as and many other save options give the endless spinning wheel and it does not complete its tasks. The app is persistent in undesirable ways – Because the ribbon has several views and there is a very subtle way to tell what ribbon view you are in, I often get lost looking for basic tools like change font color. Every time I paste, there is some annoying “Ctrl” popup that sits over the text I am working with. SUPER FRUSTRATING! I often have log-in issues Outlook often randomly 404’s telling me I need to refresh the page. It then shows outlook and 5 seconds later it goes back to the 404 type page. \*note it doesn’t say 404. Some modals the close icon in the upper right don’t do anything. Text selection is sometimes wonky Setting up calendar events are overly complicated and limited in functionality (especially around recurring meetings) Outlook.com, office.com, office265.com - huh? Two of these don’t share login credentials and all three have different and conflicting help documentation. Sign in modals are traps with no outcome - Station can’t launch outlook Microsoft's modal messaging is STILL HORRIBLE – it is not helpful, it often leads you to an area that you can’t recover, and most of the time they don’t make sense. There is a neat feature where it can restore your work if it ever does this. However, I have had times where it will crash and I won't get anything back. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft 365: I recommend that everyone should have Microsoft Office at your workplace and at home. It's great for completing basic tasks. If you need a resume, just go to Word. If you want to create a presentation, use PowerPoint! It's that simple. If you need to create a spreadsheet - use Excel. Every program within Microsoft Office allows you to complete basic, simple tasks without any hesitations. If you are new to this software, I would recommend learning the basics from a friend or family member - or even watching some YouTube tutorials to help ease you in to how to use this software.
