Microsoft Teams is mostly used by my children for their online classes. In the time of COVID, Microsoft Teams has made a great initiation. Call Quality whether Audio or Video, I found it the best. You can mute and unmute others which I think is the best. Sharing the screen is also handy and has nice quality and it's not lagging. Apart from it, you can add others, even if they aren’t using Microsoft Teams. Even my children use it on daily basis for their classes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams Notifications? Microsoft Team is a nice application but it has some drawbacks like it slows down the machine. Many time I have to exit the application and restart it if I am using it for a long period. I don’t know if it's my application going wrong but after a short interval of leaving it idle it changes its status from available to appear away and I miss many notifications. I use the application to view upcoming meetings and new messages when I am away from my work computer. This application is helpful in preparing for work a day early. At times one meeting will generate 50+ messages and I get the notification for each ping. Another thing I dislike is how it affects my work life balance. This program made it super easy when I had to work from home. I was able to message and video share with all of my collegues. It's vital to keep in touch with your managers when you work from home. Of all the virtual meeting platforms I've used, Teams Notifications does the best job of integrating your meetings into your calendar and making sure that you receive reminders about when the meetings occur. I also like that I can click "Join Online" from the notification, and it will take me directly to the Teams meeting. I don't have to even open Teams first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams Notifications? It seems like it is harder to invite people outside of my organization to my Teams meetings. I'm also not sure if Teams Notifications works without Outlook, which I also have and use. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Teams Notifications: Microsoft makes a great package of software for a lot of office uses. Teams is part of that. However, I think you might need the entire package to make Notifications really useful. I'm pretty sure I get the notifications because I use Outlook. I think Teams also syncs well with Outlook so I can easily add meetings to my schedule. Zoom is great, but it requires you to send someone an email, and then they have to click on the link. Teams Notifications allows you to send an invite directly to someone's calendar. Like the mobile interactions with these MS Teams notifications, it's essential when working with critical releases and projects, help team interactions. What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams Notifications? There is nothing to dislike so far. Find this feature suitable to have in MS Teams. Just a minor suggestion to improve on providing notification for duplicate label creation. When a new team is created with a pre-existing label, there is no notification on that, and we can create groups with the same name, which gets confusing later.
