"Sway is amazing and intuitive"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Sway?

I am experimented with lots of tools for a project in my postgrad degree and chose Sway for its intuitive (mostly), gorgeous interface and rich set of tools! It is so easy to use and share and without 365 it free so teachers can share it with parents!

2 issues- 1. accessibility is poor and the export to pdf was rendered unusable. This is vital today. 2. It wasn’t until long after I handed in the project that I stumbled on the ability to left justify in some deep place in settings but sooo glad it’s there. This project is on my LinkedIn profile and an Open Education Resource CC-BY-SA-NC (share no commercial) and the edit/font etc could be improved for more professional use.

I love Sway! 💓 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Sway?

As above accessibility, export pdf rendering is unusable, fonts/text editing isn’t flexible enough Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sway is Helpful for Web Content Managers"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Sway?

I love that I am able to convert documents for my school's website. Using SWAY makes documents ADA compliant with ease. I am also able to choose how each document looks. There are a variety of options available to change the look of the finished document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Sway?

I wish some documents could keep their look and formatting. My administrator wants some documents to remain in tact. I have not seen a way to do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Sway"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Sway?

I like using the templates on Sway to save time if I'm trying to meet a deadline for a proposal. The templates make it easy to enter information and the layout and design is already in place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Sway?

The templates aren't easily edited. I don't like that I can't move things around easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerpoint 2.0 "
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Sway?

I've found sway to be like a Powerpoint 2.0 for creating presentations. I like how it's on the internet, so I don't have to download anything, and I like how easily I can share the presentations with team members to collaborate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Sway?

There are pretty much no very good templates to start with, which means you need to create your own or for future use, or spend hours extra just designing the slides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sway to a New Way of Presenting"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Sway?

Sway is very user friendly, looks very professional, is a great way to get information across, and you can include a variety of looks that keeps your presentation exciting and your audience engaged. Another item that is great about Sway is that there are so many pictures that are easily accessible. There is an option to stack images or slides, and they come off in a cool way. Sway makes it easy to put information in, easy to move pictures and words to the way you want, and easy to present with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Sway?

Though it is hard to come up with things that I dislike about Microsoft Sway, I guess I dislike logging in; I am one who is likely to forget my password. Another thing is that I have not figured out how to use a clicker when I present with Sway, but that is something I can easily change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The modern powerpoint, Microsoft Sway does it all"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Sway?

Since Sway is cloud-based, it includes collaboration at ease. You can control whether or not people, who you share a presentation with, have access to share it with others. It also supports OneDrive. Sway, unlike PowerPoint, offers three different layout options for how the content is presented: vertical (like scrolling a website), horizontal (continuous scroll sideways), and Slideshow (aka PowerPoint). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Sway?

Sway is much more limited in available templates compared to PowerPoint. However, you do have the ability to create your own templates for future use, which is very convenient. Also, it can take a little bit of time to adjust to using Sway for your presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Still long way to go for this service (or that's just it)"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Sway?

It's relatively easy to work with it - what you build is what the audience on other side will get. It might be that lack of features brings this advantages.

It's part of Office 365 so it is easy to use (one account for all services), and it is well integrated into it, which is a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Sway?

The service seems to be so long in it's early stage of development, or Microsoft just wants it to be simple - like notepad is. I'm not sure what could be the strategy as the service seems to have not changed much during the last 2 years. Still I would like to see more features coming in.
