"So many rely on this, why is it ending?"

What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?

I use Publisher to write three newsletters, make flyers, create teaching journals, and so much more. I appreciate that a photo stays where I place it, that I can wrap words into columns and on to additional pages with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?

I dislike that Publisher is being DISCONTINUED. At least we have leadtime to find an alternative, but I am sorely diappointed at the efforts I must now take to convert legacy documents and the learning curve for a new product after over 20 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"LOVE LOVE LOVE Publisher to use for marketing"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?

I can easily add images and text without messing up the whole document - its way easier to use than word for flyers, brochures etc. I use it for everything- including converting images to pdf and vice versa. It is so easy to use and implement anyone can do it from a beginner to a computer whiz. If you have any trouble you can always contact customer support. Publisher integrates with Adobe well. I use this app daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Open Creativity with Microsoft Publisher's Design Creativity"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?

What I like most about MS Publisher is that it has a loads of selections for the user to choose from. From the sizes to different templates available offline. It also gives ease of access when it comes to integration of other applications such Excel which has a complex program. The features and functions are easy to understand and use as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?

What I dislike about MS Publisher is that it is solely available in Microsoft Windows operating system. I have received a lot of inquiry back when I work for Microsoft; where is MS Publisher for MacOS. Which is a bummer, since other companies do wanted to use it but has limited access to it. "Publisher for Presenations Is Golden"

What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?

I have used Publisher for years, however, since the uptick of Zoom meetings and presentation, Publisher has become an incredible tool. My main love for it is the slideshows. I can put together a presentation on writing, for instance, and as I am sharing my Zoom screen, I can easily scroll from page to page. While a .pdf can also do the same thing, Publisher offers amazing design features, along with being able to embed video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?

There isn't anything I dislike about Microsoft Publisher. I find it very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The program lacks features that can make my work easier"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?

It is more cheaper than InDesign. It is user-friendly although there are still some room for additional features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?

The process of arranging layouts are not too accurate. The program interface can improve for more access to the necessary tools. The elements are also limited and navigating through the program is kind of a challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast and easy publications"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?

The publisher is especially useful when we need to create a quick and simple project where we focus on practical solutions. The product contains a lot of ready-made templates and elements to use. Integration with Office365 makes sharing or printing projects very effective and safe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?

Currently, Publisher is starting to lose its distance from the competition and is slightly left behind. It offers fewer attractive visualizations or unique solutions, e.g. those generated using AI, relying instead on proven templates. The graphical interface is also unattractive compared to Canva, for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?

This is not a dislike, this is more like a way to see that something is missing, As I see it Publisher could be one of the best software out in the market , but it needs more tools and more promotion, I can bet that there are some daylly computer users that don't know about it or don't know what is for Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"More flexibility than Word"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?

I have always been much more of a fan than Word and I do think that Publisher is underrated. The flexibility of how you want the document to look in terms of position of text boxes is much more fluid in Publisher. Its an easy programme to use for quick simple projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?

Very limited in terms of templates and I do think most of them are old fashioned and out of date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Leave it to Publisher"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?

Easy to use and teach, a wide range of file types supported from PDF to even single web pages.

Publishing documents, flyers, cards, banners, etc., either printed or digitally published, is a breeze.

I love Publisher; I consider it the BEST publishing software for nonprofessionals, even though it always gives near-perfect results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?

With all its advantages, it still has quirks and sometimes mood swings.

Even though it's a member of the Microsoft Office family, it does not have the most direct shortcut all other apps do: the F4 button that redoes the last action.

Tables and cell measurements need to be addressed as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
